I was not really happy with the price of this filter, but after wasting a lot of time on-line looking around for the part at a cheaper price, I came back to Amazon. Beware that other cheaper parts online are not always Samsung origional equipment manufacturer. (OEM)
I don''t have personal experiece with these particular non OEM part, but experience with other non OEM have not always been pleasant.
This is the origional OEM part with a sticker sheet included to track the next time you''ll need to replace the filter.
I have purchased parts from other online retailers typically with no problems. On the few occasions that I have had a problem you are pretty much on your own. Buying through Amazon is worth the literal few pennies you might save purchasing from other retailers.
4 stars becaue I feel the product is too expensive for what it is.
Update 2-20010
The ($40 plus shipping) price of these filters has become absurd. Amazon still offers a competitive price, the best you''ll find on the internet for the OEM part. I installed a reverse osmosis water filter under my sink and put a T connection in to run filtered water to my fridge. The RO system delivers far better water quality than the Samsung filter. I removed the filter from my fridge. My RO system uses 5 filters in a year. These 5 filters cost a little more than one Samsung filter.

Samsung HAFCU1/XAA Aqua-Pure Plus Refrigerator Water Filter; lots of confusing numbers in this listing but the item received, as Amazon.com as the seller, is the most recent model, based on research on Samsung''s website. (DA29-00003G replaces DA29-00003B)It''s exactly the same as the one I took out of our 6-mo.-old Samsung refrigerator and works the same good. Good price, but I don''t know where the retail price of $55 comes from; Samsung''s online price is around $35, plus shipping and maybe sales tax. Overall, good package deal from Amazon.
While replacing, even though you''ve turned the water supply off to the refrigerator, you''ll still get dripping water as you remove the old filter. I put a little pan on the shelf to catch the water and to make sure it''s not leaking after installation. I had success on the first try.
Note on resetting the red indicator light: default instructions indicate holding two buttons for three seconds, except one model, which wasn''t mine. However, my model is also a one-button reset, but it''s more like 4 or 5 seconds. Just hold it down until it turns from red to green when holding it down, then release your finger.

I purchased two of these filters as replacements for my Samsung fridge. The part number shipped was the DA29-00003B, which I think is also compatible with the DA29-00003A as well. It worked flawlessly in my fridge (Model RS2556SH). I recieved my order in the mail 3 days after purchase (regular USPS delivery)! They are brand new genuine Samsung filters, which is a great deal for the price. The local Best Buy was charging $45+tax, so this is a good bargain.

Well according to the company I originally purchased this product from, they no longer make the 500 gal. model (but it is still being offered according the the model numbers). Anyway, the 300 gal. model which is apparently the only one available anymore has a slower water flow than the 500 gal. model; I suppose they both would have their pros and cons then, the 300 gal. takes longer to fill up my water cups from the fridge but on the other hand when it hits the ice in the cup I don''t have as much splash. The 300 gal model appears to have the same expiration time of 6 months.I have a Samsung RFG297AABP French door refrigerator and this filter is the genuine Samsung filter I needed for it. If it takes you more than 30 seconds to swap these filters our, you''re thinking too hard. Just twist, pull out the old one. Push in the new one and twist it in place. Couldn''t be easier.Mr. Heater MRHF273400 Buddy Portable LP Gas Heater Save 12% Off
If you have electricity, use an electric heater. Don''t bother with the hassel of propane. The cost isn''t too different and the hassel factor is much higher than electricity.
I also don''t recommend using the small canisters. That''s an inconvinient way to go as well.
BUT. If you don''t have power and need a cheap, safe heat source that you can run while you sleep, this is the best one made. Buy the 12'' hose, place a 20lb propane tank outside, and run this heater all night with just a small crack in a window or door (just in case!). You will get > 100 hours of heat out of a tank of propane! Less than a buck to run it all night.
Highly recommended under the right circumstances.I use this heater when I camp in my trailer, and it works great especially when used in conjunction with a 20-lb. propane tank. If you do use a 20-lb. tank, however, I STRONGLY recommend that you use the fuel filter (around $10 and yes, this is mentioned in the manual) and also that you always close the propane tank shut-off before turning off the Portable Buddy so that all the gas is burned out. Why? I went through two units that started shutting themselves off about a year after purchase before I found out that oily residue starts building up within the heater when the previous two suggestions are not followed. Even when I tried cleaning it out (I did a complete disassembly), it was not successful unless the control unit and the regulator are replaced as well. I did find a lot of oily mess within contol unit area, but couldn''t get it all so it''s just as easy to replace the entire unit. What happens is that when you turn on the unit, it seems to work; but, as the oily residue works its way up to the flame part, it will start going out on its own the time it takes to go out in my experience was around 1/2 hour. As far as the precautions go, the fuel filter was easy for me to find locally where propane items are sold (farm stores, large sporting goods stores); it is easy to install (it screws into the heater where a 1-lb. bottle would be located and then the hose to the tank screws right into the fuel filter it should last a year). I pick up an extra one once the current one is being used. I''m getting in the habit of shutting off the gas first. I would give this heater 5 stars if they would have explained this malfunction better I ended up talking with tech support before finding out what was actually wrong.
Also, even in very cold weather, I leave about 6" of window open to keep the condensation to a minimum.

Once and for all, here is the purpose of fuel filter for this heater. When you use this heater with a remote tank & rubber hose, it is imperative that you always shut the tank off first & let the heater run until it burns off all the fuel in the lines. YOU MUST DO THIS EVERY TIME. If you simply turn the heater knob to the off position, what you are doing is trapping 100 PSI of propane in the rubber hose. When high pressure propane just sits in your rubber hose, it literally causes the rubber to leetch a light oil that is part of the chemical composition of the rubber. If this oil forms and you have the filter on the heater, the filter will catch it and seperate it from the gas. If you do not have the filter, the oil will quickly work its way into the heater & destroy both the regulator & control valve. The heater can be repaired, but these two components will need to be replaced.Read Best Reviews of Mr. Heater MRHF273400 Buddy Portable LP Gas Heater Here
This heater is perfect for tent camping in larger tents. It''s not too big and pretty stable. We have a large cabin style tent that sleeps 6-8. On our last camping trip to our local Southern California mountains in January 02, the temp at night got down to the mid 30''s. Mr. Heater kept us almost too warm, even on the low setting. Our kids ended up sleeping on top of their sleeping bags. The safety features and BTU range were the deciding factors in our purchase. The low oxygen sensor gave us peace of mind(I still purchased a battery operated Carbon Monoxide sensor for the tent for extra precaution)and the BTU range was good. I could not find any other indoor approved heater that warmed us so well. At first I purchased a infer-red heater that attached to a bulk talk. I found too many reasons why not to use it in the tent(No low O2 sensor, no heat shield, and no low setting). Don''t chance it. Get an 8 to 12 foot extension hose and a bulk tank. The portable tanks won''t last all night. I wouldn''t recommend this heater for small tents(not enough space, not enough air volume, and the potential for Carbon Monoxide problems is too great).Want Mr. Heater MRHF273400 Buddy Portable LP Gas Heater Discount?
After several months of field testing this heater, I found it capable of producing some convenient heat. It competes in a market that includes a lot of products. I have used this heater in a garage, basement and while camping. Some observations:
1. Outside at your campsite, it is easy to light and carry around, and can be a great radiant heater to warm your hands and face on a cold morning without the fuss of building a fire. Inside a five to six person tent, it warmed the space quite nicely on the high setting. In a tent, I would not take a chance to burn it without keeping at least an open space around it and an open eye on it. While the front has a steel grille to shield the user from direct contact with the burning surface, contact with the grille and top of the unit by skin or manmade materials can result in burns or melted items.
2. The heater is PORTABLE, and portability is your friend. It is very easy to pack or carry anywhere. This is a VERY COMPACT unit that will go nearly anywhere. However, It will NOT heat a large unenclosed space, and it is not a blast furnace.
3. One interesting thing that happens when you burn the heater for any length of time in a cool area is that moisture condenses on the outside of the metallic disposable propane cylinder. The condensation eventually turns to frost and if you sit the heater on top of something that can be damaged by water, you definitely want to put an absorbent cloth under the tank to catch any drops of water when it starts to condense or as the frost melts.
4. Since this is an unvented heater, products of combustion such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and some slight odor are released into the heated space; this is common with all such heaters. Adequate oxygen must also be supplied to facilitate burning as well as to sustain life. The low oxygen shutoff is a good safety feature. People with sensitivity to odors or products of combustion would not appreciate this; I have one such person in my household and he has not enjoyed the smell.
5. There is an open flame in the form of the pilot light which sits just in front of the surface of the ceramic plate seen in the picture. The pilot ignites the gas on the surface of the ceramic plate; that is what causes the plate to glow orange. The pilot is lighted by a built-in sparker. I have found the pilot to be harder to light with a propane extension hose attached than with the disposable cylinder on board.
I have used kerosene heaters, catalytic heaters, electric space heaters. All of them produce heat, but this is the handiest heater I have ever used.

Not wanting to take the time to return it I went ahead and used one of the filters in my water bottle and was disappointed at the funny taste of the supposed filtered water. Clearly the freshness of the filters were compromised by being unwrapped. Yes I can send it back to Amazon and hope for a better experience next time but my inclination is to order direct from Cool Gear and bypass the possibility of getting a product that has sat on a shelf, unrecognized to damage or a previous return so Amazon can make a few more cents...

I''ve been using this water filter system for drinking & shower purpose for last 4 yrs. Very happy with the results but the cartridge change procedure could be easier. I am bit scared to use the tools since its made of plastic. And with bare hands to loosen and after replacing cartridges tighten it again with the sharp plastic edges of the bottom of filter system(over the counter system), is quite pain. I wish they could redesign it for ease of replacing the cartridges.Want Aquasana AQ-4035 Drinking Water Filter Replacement Discount?
Great tasting water but filters only last about 3 months. And I use only about 1 gallon a day. Also check out the comments section of the reviewers.

1--for a person with allergies, this vacuum is a god-send. I''m so used to it I almost gag every time I use another vacuum (at someone else''s place) because other vacuums send out dust in the exhaust, and don''t trap it immediately in water like this vacuum.
2--Even though my parents paid a lot for it, it has totally withstood the test of time and is made of very high-quality material. Not one thing has broken, rusted, chipped, worn, or anything in this last decade! That says a lot in this age of built-in-obsolescence!!
3--the wheels are great--they move 360 degrees and make it *very* easy to pull this thing around. The cord is also durable and long, so you can take it pretty far without having to find a new outlet.
4--I *love* that it''s environmentally low-impact--no bags to purchase (ie, no packaging, no gas used to transport) that then fill up landfills! Just dump it all down the toilet.
5--the little accessories/different heads it comes with are great. I''ve been careful and haven''t lost any of them, and they reach every nook and cranny.
I should also note that I''ve been very good with its upkeep--I wipe the rubber interior down every time with a towel (so it doesn''t crack) and I *never* store it with a damp canister attached--that can also crack the rubber. I''ve also brushed the little motor part inside like you''re supposed to so it doesn''t get clogged.
My only wish is that I had the special parts to suck up water spills.
Overall, this thing, now that I think about it, is like a trusty best friend. A big investment, yes, but if you take care of it and keep up the maintenance, it might just last a lifetime!I would have to say that this is a very heavy vacuum. It does weight about ten to fifteen pounds. "BUT" what this vacuum does, is worth the weight. I have alergies and this is a life saver. I couldn''t seem to get rid of dust or pet dander, but when I use this vacuum it takes what was in the air and puts it into water. The suction is amazing. I see things in the water that I didn''t even know was there. It really does the work for a DEEP clean. Yes it isn''t something you use when you are doing daily cleaning, but when it comes to needing to get things clean this vacuum does the job. The best.

Pros:-When you use a conventional vacuum cleaner, you see dust blown all over especially if you look with the sun rays streaming through your window. You see a much big difference using this vac. One of our sons have bad allergies and this helps a lot.
-You not only see the difference, you also feel that you are breathing much cleaner air.
-No expensive bags to buy
Cons:
-It is heavy as a bulldozer. Imagine hauling it up and down the stairs. This is the reason we use this vac not as often as our other regular vac. My wife has to call me to help tugging it along.
-Price too much! We got it half price, but probably we still paid too much.
-Maneuverability. Annoying and it really needs some muscle to work with it.
-You also need to clean the vacuum every single time you use it. No, you cannot wait until the bag is full there is no bag. It has a canister that you fill halfway with water and if you do not clean after each use, it grows bacteria and smells like a dead skunk. Believe me, we have done that.
-It is a hassle to use. Need assembly every time you use it.
-So loud

This is the best "vacuum" I have ever used. While I agree it is noisy and not the most fun to take upstairs, I have never had a house as clean as when I used it.It was heavy but I used it daily to vac the floors, get the daily cobwebs, and clean the dust out of the air from our 100yo farm house on a horse farm. The first thing I noticed, within the first month of using it, I no longer needed to dust weekly. I only needed to wash my cotton curtains once a quarter and the hardwood floors UNDER my area rugs stayed clean! NO more lifting, rolling and unrolling! I started to use it to vac our pillows and beds weekly. My mattress actually got LIGHTER and easier to turn. I could do a weekly clean in our 1,300 sq ft 3bd house in under 1.5 hours! washing kitchen and dining room floors, BEDS and Pillows included! talk about more fun time on your weekends!
This is one of those things that the more you use it the easier and faster and more thorough you can be. You don''t feel you are moving the same dirt day after day never seeming to get ahead. When it cleans, you know it is clean.

Brilliant concept in a multi use vacuum cleaner and it does it''s job. However it is heavy and scrubbing ceramic tile flooes is not easy when you have a bad back. Intuitive controls. Clock, timer, etc. are super-easy to figure out; we did not need the instructions to get it set up. The display is bright and can double as a nightlight. Somewhat attractive design. Makes good coffee. Also makes iced coffee if you like.
The Bad
Feels like there are too many parts to disassemble/reassemble to make coffee. The black plastic exterior has numerous dimples, seam lines, and other irregularities (poor fit & finish) that take away from the otherwise attractive appearance. Difficult to tell how much coffee is left once it drops below 2 cups.
The Ugly
Spills and messes. Lifting the lid to dump the old filter causes the built-up moisture to drip down the back of the coffeemaker. Thick mugs and thermoses are difficult to fill without coffee spilling down the side and all over the counter. In my opinion, they did not place the spout out far enough from the release bar. You can get better results if you tip your mug or thermos inward, but some of the thicker ones will never fill without making a mess.
In summary, it is a decent coffeemaker. I had read the reviews before purchasing it and had determined this was not one of the models I wanted. However, the model I had gone to the store to purchase was not available (nor was it available on amazon.com), and seeing as our old faithful coffeemaker had died that morning, I couldn''t leave without something to replace it. Unfortunately, my memory was not great and I couldn''t remember if this particular model was a good option or not (if I had remembered the reviews, I wouldn''t have purchased this model). Despite its shortcomings, we''ve decided to keep it, but if I had a chance to do it again, I would not choose this one.

We have had this product for over a year now and have had no problems at all. Yes, there are features that could be improved, but I have found that with all coffee brewers. What we like most is that we can brew 12 cups, let it sit all morning, and no burnt taste whatsoever. We use it 2xs a day for morning and evening coffee and it has not failed us a single time.I bought this coffee maker to replace ours because I can''t stand the burn coffee flavor it bothers me if the glass carafe is not perfectly clean and shiny, and I also like how it looks.I was a little scared because I read some negative reviews about the product but OMG I love this coffee maker, it is perfect and does not make a mess at all, it is very easy to clean, use, and I think it is really nice looking :)
It also makes ice coffe if you put ice in the water reservoir.
I love that the coffee tastes fresh and you can''t tell is been there for 4 hours.
I love to pour the coffee into my cup! No mess!
Super easy to use.

Because the IRobot filters the water, I definitely notice a difference in the water...it appears amazingly clean and we haven''t needed to backwash our pool once. After the first couple weeks and learning the hose method doesn''t unclogg the filter bag entirely, the Verro 300 cleans my pool in approximately 60-90 minutes. We''re very pleased. It takes approximately 2 minutes to set it up and about the same amount of time to clean it when it''s finished.I decided to try the Verro 300. It did a superb job on most of the pool, but some areas were a problem for it.
Verro is a simple device. It has a long floating electrical cord that powers a vacuum pump that sucks water through a filter bag. The water is expelled out at the top horizontally which propels it around the pool. One wheel axle swivels a bit so it doesn''t always travel a straight line. A power unit sits outside the pool, tells the verro whether to shoot the water out forward or backwards. An adjustment dial allows you to set how long before switching directions.
There are two filter bags that come with the verro. A coarse mesh filter bag and a fine cloth filter bag. And the performance with each differs greatly. The coarse mesh filter bag with it''s tiny holes will pick up leaves but it won''t pick up fine dirt. That''s what you need the fine cloth filter bag for.
With the mesh filter bag, the verro does a good job traveling all over the pool. It climbs pool walls well all the way up to the waterline. The fine cloth bag tends to clog ALOT faster. Fine particles of dirt really do a good job of slowing verro down fast. When verro''s filter bags eventually gets clogged it can no longer climb UP a wall. And it also then tends to stick toward the deep end.
But whenever verro gets sluggish, you can just pull it out of the water, and clean the filterbag with a garden hose. Then stick it back in. I had a fairly dirty pools from some strong winds. And I had to take verro out twice to clean the filter bags. But otherwise it did a great job.
Verro does have some limitations. When it hits a 90 degree angle of a step, it probably won''t go up it. And a small spa is probably too small for it to operate in. (I just brush toward the drain in my spa) And of course it tends to stay toward the deep end, especially if the filter bag is getting dirty.
But all in all, I was amazed to see a very nice clean pool after a few two hour runs. Of course manual vacuuming is better. But then you don''t have to spend as much time yourself. And you don''t have to clean the pool filter after using verro. Which is a MAJOR plus.
So is this machine worth $700? It depends on the buyer. Vacuuming by hand the old fashion way is definitely better. You can probably vacuum faster and better than verro. But Verro does save you alot of work. Just brush the few areas Verro misses, and you will have a beautifully clean pool.
For me, it was a good investment. I''m happy with it. And I''ll be using it alot. Especially under a pool cover this winter!
btw, there is one more thing you will probably want to get with this. A GFCI adapter for your outlet. A small adapter that plugs into your outlet. It''s only $10-$30. But incase of an electrical surge, it will shut off the electricity. It''s recommended in the Verro manual. They sell it at amazon too.

I was looking for an automatic pool cleaner that didn''t require hoses and potential clogging of the filter. This fit the bill. As a happy customer of Roomba, I decided to give this a try vs other competing products (e.g., Aquabot). Overall, the device performed very well It got up all the debris including sand and small stones. My only slight negative is that it had a tendency to orient itself to clean more on the deep end than the shallow end, meaning that I had to run it on a few two hour cycles to get the pool fully covered. Also, in five cleanings so far it got stuck once on my staircase steps, but that might be an artifact of my pool design. Overall, however, so far I am very happy.

I tried the Verro 300 for two weeks, with very mixed results. We live in Palm Desert, which can be very windy and there is a lot of airborne sand. The regular bag is too porous to catch the sand, and the fine bag clogs almost immediately. After talking to the factory, my conclusion is that this unit is not for dusty areas. Also, the unit won''t climb curved steps (mine are) and it took two cleaning cycles to cover a 16x32 pool. If you live where leaves and debris are your problem, the 300 would probably work. But if you need to get the sand out on a daily basis, don''t get this item.Want iRobot Verro Pool-Cleaning Robot for Above-Ground Pools Discount?

UPDATE: After a little more than a year, it died. I purchased Krupps all my life, but no more.My previous Krups coffee maker was made in Germany and worked perfectly for almost 20 years. It finally died over the Xmas holidays after heavy usea solenoid apparently fried (I took it apart to see if I could fix it as I hated to part with an original German-quality appliance).
My new Krups works fine (made in China), but after a few uses I wanted to wash the carafe in the dishwasher. Lo and behold the carafe top could not be removed, and the carafe therefore cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
I think most people like to wash their carafes in the dishwasher every week or so to keep them shiny and clean. Not being able to do this is a major negative for this coffeemaker.
Otherwise I have not had any problems with the coffee it makes. But I would not recommend it to anybody who wants to wash the glass carafe in the dishwasherwhich I think most people like to do.

As you would expect from a Krups coffee maker, yes it does make excellent coffee, but there are a couple of very annoying design flaws. The worst in my opinion is the tiny space you have to hit when you''re pouring the water in it. The lid is in the way which compounds the problem. The second concerns the pot itself in 2 areas the lid is not removable for cleaning and when you are pouring coffee from the pot, the steam comes through a hole between the handle and the lid and is uncomfortably hot on your thumb. The pot also has a tendency to dribble coffee while pouring. Another fault, although a minor one is that the stainless lid you have to close over the basket is very prone to fingerprint smudges. In all I think it is a pretty disappointing coffee maker considering the quality Krups is known for. *** Updated 11/8/2010 *** ...and after only 9 months the piece of junk DIED in mid-pot of making coffee. The heater element croaked I would assume. We got this unit to replace a unit we have had for several years that just got old. We have been using this coffee maker for 3 days now without issue. There are some setup concerns though. There is a water filter screen attached to the removable coffee v-cone that covers the water-filling area. Using the screen-filter greatly slows water flow as you fill the tank. Since we have a whole house filtering system I don''t see a need for this. It removes easily. The instructions for your initial use are very poorly written and totally useless. Follow the cleaning process steps for your initial water cleaning steps. This unit doesn''t drip. The black carafe edge does limit totally emptying the carafe but the amount of water or coffee remaining is very small; so, no big deal. At this point I''m very satisfied and fully recommend this coffee maker.Amana 25-Cubic-Foot Side-by-Side Refrigerator

We owned an Amana refer for over 15 years until it stopped cooling in the refer and the freezer wouldn''t defrost. I checked on getting it repaired but tech said would be better off buying a new one.So ...since we had good luck with Amana in the past we bought the one listed here.
Big mistake. The same thing that happened to our 15 year old refer hit the new one after only 2 years. Of course it is out of warranty now so I guess we have to pay 200 or more to get it fixed or buy a new fridge every 2 years. The freezer coils get covered with ice and the fridge is warm ....inexcusable for an appliance this new.

I haven''t had this long at all, so I can''t speak for longevity. I love it so far, though. I ordered it on January 20th (a Friday), and it arrived on the 25th (the following Wednesday) at 8am! The delivery company already had it unpacked and ready to go, they rolled it right into my kitchen in less than 5 minutes. After hooking up the water and power lines, everything worked flawlessly. It''s cooling both sides fine on medium settings and the ice/water maker/dispenser is great! I can barely hear it running when the compressor kicks in. For the price I am very satisfied.Want Amana 25-Cubic-Foot Side-by-Side Refrigerator Discount?
I have been using this fridge for a little over two months now and it is so far keeping everything within it good and cold and/or frozen. Our prior fridge was a Frigidaire that was around 30 years old. It was making extra noises, ran almost constantly and had a few less cubic feet, but still worked. We have noticed that our electric bill took a drop after starting to use this Amana, so it is more efficient. The two plastic drawers within the Amana look a bit flimsy. I hope they do not break as they are expensive to replace. The three drawers in the Frigidaire were much more sturdily made. The bottom drawer was for meats and stayed a little colder. The Amana does not have a place especially for meats. We had to add plumbing to the house to get water for the ice maker. Just got that done within the last few days. The ice maker is now doing its job. Every few hours we hear it dropping ice. As the instructions stated, I threw out the first several batches of ice.
I would have liked to have greater control over the spacing of the shelves. This Amana is suppose to have several cubic feet more space than the Frigidaire, but it doesn''t seem to hold any more than the Frigidaire did. Appears to me that there is a lot of space within the Amana that is not able to be used. I do like the tempered glass shelves that will stop small spills from going clear to the bottom of the fridge. The door could have used one more tray and a place to keep eggs where they could be accessed easily.
So far, I am liking this Amana. Other than the inefficient use of space and the flimsy looking drawers, it seems to be working well so far. Knock on wood. I hope it keeps up. I am giving it four stars. Will update in the future if needed.
This refrigerator, which was purchased from Amazon, was delivered by a truck, unpacked by the driver, and then wheeled into the house and placed where it was requested. The outside packing material was removed by the driver. Very good service by Amazon.
March 9, 2013.
Have been using this refrigerator for around fifteen months now and it continues to work quite well. No problems with it whatsoever. The ice maker also continues to work quite well. There are only few complaints I might make so far. One is that the glass shelves are dirt magnets. Every few weeks I find that I have to clean a shelf or two. The other is it looks to me as though the shelves could have been several inches deeper front to back. It looks as though there was enough space for that and it would have added a little more storage capacity. I would recommend a couple of wire baskets for the freezer section to keep smaller items in. They keep small items from falling out. I like the Spectrum 47970 Medium Storage Basket. This refrigerator is great for any kitchen, especially if you want a black refrigerator, quite unique because most are white, but never the less energy efficient and up to date with today standards

*** update 6/2012.... Still going strong, working perfectly five years later... use about once a week during the spring and summer. There is a spot to hook a strap onto the sprayer. I took the strap off my gym bag and use that, works great! Still happy with this purchase

First of all I didn''t get what is shown no shoulder strap just the bare-bones sprayer. That was OK. I assembled and tested it as instructions directed. Then after just 5 minutes of use the forks that lift the plunger stripped and would not open the plunger to spray. No unusual force was used, just spraying a thin fungicide on plants. Also,a minor point: the instruction folder is in such tiny type size you practically need a magnifying glass to read it. However, as usual, Amazon''s return policy is the BEST!Read Best Reviews of Chapin 20000 1-Gallon Lawn and Garden Sprayer Here
This is the 1st time I have used a Garden Sprayer. Wanted to post a review so others can learn from my mistakes.1. Fill to fill line ONLY (if not when you pump it will spray out all over you)
2. Attach all attachments completely
3. Twist handle to pump
4. AND THIS IS IMPORTANT do not open anything once you have built up pressure
5. Continue to pump the trigger sprayer until you bleed the line and sprayer begins to spray.
I thought mine was broken because it would not spray as I did not bleed the line 1st. I opened the container and it like exploded all over me.
Now that I know how to use it, it works great. Nice even spray.
Want Chapin 20000 1-Gallon Lawn and Garden Sprayer Discount?
This is a good price for a no-frills garden sprayer. I''m not expecting a miracle at this price point and because of its all plastic construction, durability may be an issue. For $10, I can live with ordering a replacement if it breaks down after a 8 months to a year, but hopefully it won''t. [Product has now failed. Please see update at end of review.]I was looking for a labor-saving way to hydrate the more delicate plants and flowers in my garden and maybe administer some plant food through foliar feeding. I had been using a spray bottle and all that squeezing was very tough on the hands, so I finally decided to do the right thing and get a sprayer. Assembly is very easy. Attach the hose to the wand, attach other end to bottle. Fill with water or your desired mix of fertilizer or bug killer, insert and screw on the pump/handle and you''re ready to rock ''n'' roll. Flow rate is very satisfactory and you can adjust the spray pattern from a single stream to a fine mist by twisting the nozzle cap. Fully pumped, the stream reaches approx 25 ft out.
Design Flaws
I don''t like that the carrying handle and the pump action are one and the same. There''s a little notch that the handle locks into when you rotate it clockwise. This secures the handle in place so that you can carry the sprayer. To pump again, you have to twist it 1/4 turn counter-clockwise so you unlock the handle. Once fully pressurized, dissipation rate is good, but I didn''t like the extra step of having to lock and unlock the handle each time. I have to set the sprayer down, unlock, pump, lock again, pick up, then spray. Another minor issue is the squeaking sound of the pump, which I don''t really mind, but just pointing it out in case you do.
A secondary problem is the length of the hose (about 3 ft.) With the sprayer being held in a relaxed position in one hand (hanging straight down like a shopping bag), I can only bring my other hand to about mid-chest height in front of me. I can''t raise my wand hand above my head to mist tall trees and objects. On mist mode, you can comfortably spray anything from ground height to about 8 ft without having to raise the bottle higher.
Thirdly, there''s no caddy or snap-in clasp to keep the wand secure when the sprayer is not in use. I am expecting a random mishap to snap the wand because of this-either someone walking by and the wand snagging on some clothing, or it being stepped on. The wand looks especially fragile and susceptible to cracking. It is this product''s weakest link. Some sort of loop for attaching a shoulder strap to wear the sprayer would also be a welcome addition.
Overall, the Chapin 20000 is easy to use, but not without some design annoyances. For what I paid, I am satisfied with this product so far.
UPDATE: DIY Strap Add-on Modification
I was able to fashion myself a strap for the sprayer out of 2 key rings and a camera bag strap. Stamped onto the vertical support vane on either side of the neck is a circular identation (visible in product blowup). You can punch it out with a screwdriver and insert the key rings, then attach a shoulder strap. I now have a wearable sprayer that leaves my other hand free for other gardening tasks. It''s a bit clumsy and looks funny, but it works.
UPDATE 8/28/10
I am downgrading this product to 2 stars because after 4 days, the spray release mechanism has now unexpectedly snapped off. I had concerns about the durability of this product because of its all-plastic construction and did not expect it to last for very long, but less than a week is unacceptable, with less than 4 gallons of use out of this sprayer. The handle is reattachable via snap pegs, but it won''t stay on due to the force of the spring in the release value. The clamp had become worn. When pushed down, the lever pops back out. Buyer beware! Not recommended.
Cuisinart GTF Gold Tone Filter Save 100% Off
As for price, $20 is NOT the actual price for this filter. $10 is the "real" price, so you are not getting a deal on Amazon especially when you add shipping (unless you are getting free shipping). I have seen the same $10 filter at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Ace Hardware, and Publix.
Overall, if you enjoy a good cup of coffee and do not want to put the chemicals added to paper filters in your body, buy this coffee filter! The first one I had I frequently put in the dishwasher and it lasted a little over a year, so I will hand wash this one. The price here is the same as the manufacturer''s site, but for now you save on the shipping.

(TOP 10 REVIEWER)(COMMUNITY FORUM 04)(#1 Hall OF FAME REVIEWER)There are pros and cons to this conical, gold-coated filter.Pros: You can reduce the use of paper products.
Your filter never runs out
Makes an ok cup
Cons:
Finer grinds make more sludge in the bottom of the carafe, just not as good a filter as paper.
The gold eventually wears off. It is bonded to the mesh, but gold is relatively inert and doesn''t bond well to anything.
I''ve bought a few of these over the years, but overall, I prefer brown filter paper for coffee making.what can you say about a replacement filter? it works, fits just right and is cheap. kind of like my husband.I''ve had this filter for almost two years now. I usually hand wash it, but it holds up to the dishwasher as well. The only complaint I have is that it has a tendency to get grounds caught in the bottom of the filter, where the plastic joins the screen. Overall, I''ve been very happy with this filter, and if it wears out, I plan on replacing it with another Cuisinart.
Philips Saeco RI9752/48 Odea Go Full Automatic Espresso Machine Save 18% Off
The espresso comes out perfect, just like those at places like Starbucks. My favorite part about this model is the minimum work required for cleaning. It has a bin that collects the used grounds so you don''t have to empty and clean after every cup.
The steam for the milk frother comes out super fast and super hot. It takes less than 30 seconds for me to froth milk. And when you''re done, just rinse the plastic nozzle and you''re set for the next cup.
Now the only downside about this model: it doesn''t store too much water. If you have 2 or more people using this thing every morning, there''s a good chance someone will always have to refill the water in the tank after the machine pumps out a half cup of coffee and blinks its red light. Even then, for the price, it is well worth it and provides great value.
Update 4/7/2010 Still turning out great coffee/espresso with ease after 3 years of service. Must''ve saved me $1000 from morning trips to Starbucks annually. But then again, I guess I wouldn''t know how good it really is.
Four stars because a) I haven''t had it long enough to give it a 5 and b) I''m taking off one star for the price.
I really like this machine, I was hesitant to get a super automatic because I like the process of making espresso. However, when I need multiple shots each morning for 2 drinks, this is far more practical. I was not interested in the sales associates'' push for Nespresso because I can''t see being tied down to one brand of pod forever, so I went with this. I''ve had it a few weeks, so I will update if I run into any snags, but so far so good.
Prior to this I had a Krups (great while it lasted, actually), and a DeLonghi, and a Breville Ikon that I returned. I was looking at this, a Capresso, and a Gaggia, but the store where I returned the Ikon only had this so I gave it a shot.
Pros:
Delicious espresso, nice crema, but it does take some experimenting with grinds, etc. I am still working on getting it just how I want it, but still, the worst cup out of this machine is better than good cups in others. I use it for lattes almost exclusively, but my husband has had shots and likes them a lot. It is incredibly fast shot to shot, something I was hesitant about in leaving my beloved filling and tamping behind, but now I will never look back! The frother is very powerful and fast, the best I''ve had on any machine.
Cons:
As another reviewer mentioned, this machine has quite a personality! It is like C3PO (or is it R2D2) in my kitchen each day, Flashing, blinking, making sounds. It always wants something: Fill water, empty grounds, release hot water. If I didn''t like the coffee and ease of use so much it might be annoying but for now I find it entertaining. I feel like it''s letting me know what it needs, so that''s ok I guess.
I don''t like how plasticky it is, it feels like a $100 Krups, but it looks nice and the coffee is what matters. Nearly everything comes apart for easy and thorough cleaning, so I always know it''s clean through and through, unlike some other machines I''ve had.
Machine is kinda big. I have a lot of counter space (for once in my life!) and I have it angled in a corner. It looks great and blends in, but if space is an issue for you, note that the size is a bit deep. The curve of it makes it look a little smaller than it is, and it definitely looks stylish.
Other comments:
Some online reviews I saw noted it''s finicky about beans. I''ve tried two kinds now and haven''t had any trouble with the taste or grinder getting stuck.
I hope this review is helpful. The espresso machine purchase process is overwhelming, and it seems like there are shortcomings to all of them. I am really glad I took two back wound up with this one, even if the process of finding it was maddening. I was about to give up and not even own a machine at home any longer. I gave it one last whirl with this one. As I was walking out of the dept. store, a stately European couple saw me walking with the giant orange box and stopped me to tell me "What a great machine! We bought it a few months ago, you''re going to love it." I grilled them about 4-5 concerns, they raved, and I felt like I was at least off to a better start with this machine than with the others that were mediocre or bad.
FYI: Many Bed, Bath and Beyonds sell these and honor the 20% mailers they send out, should you choose to buy it in person. (I would, in case anything goes wrong. I am done with getting electronics >$100 online and messing with shipping.)

This was my first espresso machine that I have owned, but have used many manual machines. The most common use I have for it, is making espresso/cappuccino for family dinners; I do make single batches for myself on weekends. I have found it superb for single doses and a tad more complicated for multi-batch sessions. I agree that more stainless vs. plastic would have been nice, but the plastic is easy to clean, and does blend nicely into a stainless kitchen. The wand should have been either all metal or "rubber" (some heat resistant pliable stuff) as hard plastic is the worst of both worlds, but that being said I have had zero problems with it. It is very easy to clean. On the other hand, it is impossible to foam and not get foam on the handle and up into the joint between the tip and the pipe of the wand (remember to clean it too). I would be gentle with the wand.Making Coffee
1. First off finding the sweet spot on the coffee strength meter, will take you a few batches. On my machine just about 2.5 dots makes a perfect 2 cup espresso.
2. Be careful on first startup of the day, put a mug underneath the machine, as the cleaning/priming cycle can spurt a fair amount of boiling coffee stained water. I keep a spare mug next to the machine just for startup.
3. Eventually after the entertaining light show (really? before I''ve had my coffee??) the machine is ready for brewing. Press the big coffee cup button, and after loud grinding, magically coffee comes forth! Depending on your dial setting you get anything from concentrated espresso through cafe-americano.
4. Now onto milk steaming (for cappuccino/latte). First off press the steam button and wait until the thermometer stops blinking. Now using your spare cup open the steam valve and let the boiling water spew out until steam only is coming. Now insert into your milk pitcher and foam until you get to 140-150 degrees (yes you need a foaming thermometer) which depending on how cold your milk is, a minute or two. Make your cappuccino as desired.
5. Cleaning: well remember that hockey puck of beans it made, well it''s sitting in the container to the right, along with overflow of the steaming cycle. This machine has a bizarrely low tolerance for stuff in the right container. I have had it complain with 2 batches of espresso (sometimes due to too much water and if the grounds land standing on edge, it gets unhappy too). When making lots of batches in a row, you will be filling water and emptying the waste side frequently. Some people are more annoyed than others. I agree, slightly larger would have been useful, but I wouldn''t want the machine to be larger. I also after removing the wand tip and cleaning it in the sink, then take my spare mug filled with hot water and clean the handle and end of the wand (it undoubtable has milk on the o-rings, etc.
Other lessons:
1. I found larger beans makes it unhappy, I switched to the Illy whole beans, which have smaller beans, and works perfectly.
2. Not sure why the water filter is not included: buy them, as it tastes better and more importantly reduces scale buildup.
3. Read the manual on maintenance (there is a Saeco kit that includes everything) and perform it regularly. To remove the guts (the brew group) it''s behind the door on the right, press the "push" button and pull the whole thing out. Carefully follow the directions in applying the silicone lubricant as instructed. It''s a little tricky getting it all back in.
Sum up: I really like it, and it cranks through repeat brewing fairly quickly (albeit with the delay of refilling/emptying) without complaint. Occasionally it becomes "de-primed" which is solved by opening the steam valve and dispensing hot water until it stops blinking red. Not sure what de-primes it, but it is infrequent. I would purchase this again.

This is my second Saeco Espresso machine that I have bought in the last year. I first bought the Taleo Giro for $1000 from Costco, which worked beautifully for about 4 months, but then a clogged grinder prevented me from brewing any more coffee--only the hot water worked. I called Saeco on multiple occasions and even though every one was friendly, the only resolution was sending me one instruction booklet after another. Some instructions did not match my model, some where from a previous version of the same model and some were so complicated that I did not know how to follow them (it was basically taking apart the entire grinder--and that was recommended to be done every two weeks). I spend less time maintaining my car then it looks like the Saeco machine requires. Then I bought the Saeco Odea upon reading the instruction manual and feeling assured that I did not need to disassemble the machine every other week. Again, it stopped working after 6 months. Again, I get brochures from their customer service, but no trouble shooting assistance--and this model apparently also requires complete disassembly of the grinder every other week. When asked why the original manual does not let you know that, I received an "I don''t know".
I am going back to my basic Krups model that requires no maintenance--if you are looking for a hobby and love to take things apart, the Saeco might be a great fit--otherwise: Stay clear.

As another reviewer stated, this coffee machine is great when it works. I purchased this Saeco as a gift for my mother because I had been so satisfied with my own Saeco Charisma I had purchased a year and a half prior. Unlike the Charisma, the Odea Go has been a huge disappointment. Out of the box, it did not function and had to be returned to Saeco for repair. That return went fairly smoothly. Now less than 5 months later, it is not working again (it appears to be a problem with the bean grinder which they had replaced the first time around). Upon calling Saeco, my mother was told she would have to pay for any repairs this time, even though it comes with a 1-year warranty. I am counfounded by this.In sum: Extremely poor product backed by very poor customer service.
Also, don''t buy this from Kitchen Gadetry, as they have a terrible return policy. If they weren''t going to charge me a $150 return fee the first time around, I would have returned this machine and purchased something different. Now it appears with are stuck with a $550 lemon.

UPDATE: I just finished the installation. It was very easy. I had to run to the hardware store and pick up a tee fitting to splice into the existing tubing running to the fridge. I used one of the L fittings on the adapter out of the back of the unit to angle the tubing up. The second fitting, I attached to the OUT of the filter cap in order to angle it down. I cut 8-10" of the supplied tubing and made that short connection -it''s very neat and the L fittings ensure that I don''t have a bunch of tubing jutting out behind the unit. I cut roughly half of the remaining tubing to attach to the IN and to the brass compression tee I picked up at the store (the Keurig sits right next to the fridge). I still have one quick-connect L fitting, one adapter, and about five feet of tubing left. I much prefer extra parts than not enough! I turned the water supply back on and, surprisingly, did not turn the kitchen into a kiddie pool. I turned the B150P on, it began to pull in water, told me it was heating the water up. I checked the back of the unit and no water was leaking at any time. During the heating cycle, the B150 threw an error stating that the water supply had been interrupted. My guess is that the water pressure was low while the filter became saturated. It may have also been the ice maker running. I pressed resume and, after a roughly five minute heating cycle, the B150 told me I was ready to brew a cup! Unfortunately, I don''t have any K-Cups! Off to Kroger I go!

Aroma AWK-115S Hot H20 X-Press 1-1/2-Liter Cordless Water Kettle
It is so efficient that we often use it to heat up water before putting it in a pan on the stove. It is much faster. When we are making pasta we will put a small amount of water in a large pan and fill the teapot. The water in the pot is boiling before the water on the stove. The pot is light, even when full, and has no aftertaste like I have read some of the plastic ones do.
HOWEVER, we had owned our home pot for less than six months when the ''on'' switch broke off. The pot was still usable, but you have to reach in and activate it with a fingernail. It was under limited warranty, but that involved mailing it to San Diego at our own cost and sending them a check for $8 to have it returned. Including the time and materials to package it up and then drive to the post office and have it gone for 2-4 weeks wasn''t worth the effort.
I have concluded we just got a lemon. Because this happened and the warranty policy was so cumbersome, I originally gave this 3 stars. But our other one is working fine and the broken piece has turned out to be a small inconvenience, so I have revised my rating to 4.6, rounding up to 5.It''s not often that one finds a product that''s both visually attractive AND functionally satisfying. This kettle is one of those rare items: the shiny stainless steel body is beautiful to look at, and it boils water very very quickly! It features a nice big and sturdy handle which is very comfortable, and the spout is perfectly designed so that you''d have to be a real klutz to spill things. The cordless feature is wonderful, I tried a cheap ten dollar "Hot Pot" for a day or two and hated having to deal with the cord, plus that model doesn''t have automatic shutoff despite what it says on the box---huge fire hazard! There is also a power-indicator light and water-level indicator gauge which are both handy, and I like that there is no exposed heating element inside which would be a pain to clean. Instead it''s all smooth clean lines, inside and out!
Sure the outside of the kettle does get a little hot so you probably don''t want to have this within reach of toddlers or anything, but if your toddlers can get up on your kitchen countertop then you have a LOT of other problems as well! I appreciated not having to deal with how plastic inevitably gets dirty-looking and sometimes leaves a funny taste in the water.
My only slight concern is that the lid needs a little bit of force to shut completely...probably some kind of insulating seal that shortens the time needed to bring water to a boil, but makes me wonder how durable that part of this kettle is going to be. Oh well, will find out in a few months or (hopefully) years, I suppose!
*UPDATED 2/14/2011: Still going strong, no complaints at all. I use it at least twice a day, most days. The lid has held up well. Highly recommend!

I bought this after I was so disappointed with a Breville one. The pot does get hot but I don''t have any children or pets to worry about. The boil time is very fast and there is no coil on the inside so I do not have to worry about the build-up or rust I have experienced with other kettles. The water tastes good and clean. For this price it is very affordable! I do have to admit that the pot seems a little cheaply made, but I didn''t expect much since it seems to be less than half the price of others of the same volume and style. I am very happy with this!!Update (more than a month later): this is still working so quick and perfectly! I couldn''t be happier!

I bought it last month and used it over one month now. Heat quickly, looks good on the counter, easy to use and cheap. The big problem for me is it failed to shut itself off about 10% of times, with the lid closed completely, even minutes after water boiled and the plastic handle became too hot to hold. I have to stay nearby when I using it, otherwise it could be dangerous. I contacted Aroma service people today, they told me that I can send back to repair, but I need to pay the shipping cost by myself. For a 30 dollar stuff, it is not worth it. Kind of disappointed.
New update in 1/12/2012.
I use it over two years now, almost every day. I feel good about this product now. It did fail to shut itself off around 10% of times in the first month. But it is OK after that. I guess it maybe caused by the built up water stain near the edge of cover. It made the cover close tighter to trigger the detector. I change the rate to 4 stars from 1 star. Feel surprised that this kettle last pretty long.

Whether for tea or or hot oatmeal, this water kettle has performed perfectly. Before I purchased this I tended to use the microwave to heat water. Can''t believe what a waste of time and energy that was, not to mention possibly unhealthy. This kettle is even faster than your stove top.The interior is about 98% metal except for a very tiny amount of plastic. I didn''t taste anything bad regardless and my sense of smell/taste is fairly strong.
My only concern is that the instructions clearly say to unplug the kettle when not in use. There''s an auto shut-off after the water is boiled so either the manufacturer is being extra extra cautious or they believe there could be a problem. Would prefer to just leave it plugged in and not worry about it, but I follow the directions.
A great buy overall have owned it for months now without a problem.
