I purchased the new dynamically enhanced portable unit recently to give as a gift. My gift will go to a person in an apartment that can''t add a home unit to his plumbing, but I wanted their family to have decent water to drink. They live in California and I know they are going to enjoy drinking water as much as I do now. I especially appreciated the offer from Ultimate Destinyland for the free Introduction to Structured Water with Clayton Nolte which explains everyone anyone would ever want or need to know about structured water.

Pentek 255705-43 Quick-Change QC10-CB1 Replacement Cartridge
One very nice feature is the quick connect-disconnect feature. No need to turn off the water supply, just twist the old cartridge off and the new one on. This is a carbon block filter, and does a much better job of removing undesirable tastes than granular carbon, and also is longer lasting.
Our water comes from deep wells in basaltic rock, and contains quite a little hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg gas). The water department does a fair but not perfect job of removing it. This filter takes all that out, along with chlorine and most other nasties that might be present. I''m disappoointed that it doesn''t remove chloramine, but then I know of no low cost filter system that does.
The other slight inconvenience comes from the 0.5 gallon per minute flow rate, which can be frustraing when filling large containers. That is a consequence of using the carbon block filter, and the good aspects far outweigh that slight inconvenience. Of course, one could always improve flow rate by installing two systems in parallel, a step I have not convinced myself would be worth the trouble and expense.

This thing is one piece of fine art. First of all it makes delicious coffee. Their Cafe Lungo and the Cafe Americano I would say are the best tasting ones. Rich in flavor! The machine is very simple to use. I didnt even have to read the manual or directions. The blue LED light is pretty neat too. It illuminates while the coffee is being made. Awesome coffee machine for the price. I would recommend this to everyone who is a coffee lover!Want Nescafe Dolce Gusto by Krups Circolo Coffee Machine Discount?
I had this machine on my wishlist and received it as a present. I wanted something like the coffee machines everyone has in Europe where you can get an instant cup of coffee any time of day. Well, you can do that with this machine...if you have the capsules. You might think, "Duh" at that previous statement but let''s say you wake up one morning thinking, "oh I can''t wait for my cup of coffee" you go to the machine turn it on drat! you''re out of coffee capsules! So you think, "oh I''ll just go to the store and get some" BZZZZZ!!! Wrong answer.NOBODY...and I literally mean NOBODY carries these capsules in their stores. Even our local store, WHO SELLS THE MACHINES, does not carry the capsules. Apparently some mumbo jumbo about the company not wanting to retail out the capsules I don''t know. All I know is the only way to get refills is through Amazon or the Nescafe site which, if you don''t sign up for automatic refills, shipping can be as much as $20-30 as they only ship through UPS.
My other beef with this machine is that the coffee doesn''t come out very hot. That usually doesn''t bother me, but I know how some people really like their hot coffee...so just thought I''d mention it.
Other than those two cons, I would say it''s really fun to use and clean and looks all futuristic on the kitchen counter. It''s convenient when you don''t want to heat up water for a French press or make a whole pot of coffee but if you don''t want to be stuck with only getting your coffee online, you should probably look elsewhere.

I use this filter with all my dry vacuuming. I use it with a filter bag for drywall and orbital sander dust. Otherwise, it would clog more easily than I have patience for. If it gets clogged when vacuuming coarser material, you can just take it out and knock/scrape the debris off. When I use only the foam sleeve, fine dust gets blown into the air and settles on the stuff in my garage.Product descriptions on amazon.com can be a bit sparse sometimes, but it was fairly easy to find the filter I wanted because the product number matches the one on the ShopVac website. It would have given me some peace of mind if either amazon.com or ShopVac identified this filter as "Type AA", which one would assume was the model number based on its prominence on the packaging.

If you have a sensitive nose and you plan on using this in a vacuum cleaner inside the house or office, I would think again. The filter is an excellent filter, but it stinks with a very bad strong smell. If you plan on getting this one for your vacuum cleaner to use outside, then I would say rock and roll. The price is right, it is a hard to find filter and it does a good job in being a filter, but keep in mind, it stinks to high heaven.Don''t say you weren''t warned, because you were.

- Silver impregnated to prevent bacteria growth

- Replacement for the AquaCera LP-5 water filter system
About a month ago, the quality of my water had decreased. No priming or cleaning improved this. That''s when I started researching these Berkey filters and learned that they do not last 1500 gallons, but should be replaced every 3 months like other filters out there (more like Brita filters). This is because they have no silver in them to ward off internal bacteria growth.
After some more research, Doulton is the company you want to stay with for ceramic filters. They have been around for a long time, and you could call them the "inventors" of the ceramic filter. Unfortunately, Berkey is trying to make money off their good name by selling an inferior product here in the States. These Aquacera Ceracarb filters are the best current filters from the Doulton/Aquacera line up. The only thing they do not filter out is flouride, but there are flouride attachment filters that you can buy.
I picked up 4 total of these filters, and they fit great in the Berkey Light container (I really like the blue Berkey light container!). The Ceracarb come in 7", 9", and 10" models. These are the 9" ones, but the 10" would also easily fit in the container.
Filtration rate with 4 filters is great and the water taste is SO MUCH BETTER than the black Berkey filters. My wife was wondering why I was switching filters so soon, but she was amazed at how much better the water tastes with these Ceracarb filters.
So I guess I''m a little mad being taking advantage of, but overall, I''m glad I was introduced to the gravity filter system idea and I''m also glad I was able to figure out and educate those around me about the horrible product that is the black Berkey filter. Spread the word!! Doulton/Aquacera is the best way to clean up your water!!
Sears Kenmore 38476 Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filters
The online Sears price was 5-6 dollars higher, and I was upset they did not stock it locally, I ordered these through my more familiar Amazon account.I used these from Waterfilteronline.com for years after buying the more expensive replacements directly from Sears when we initially got the system. They are much less expensive, but something is different. Every time I replaced them (every 6 months like clockwork) there was a thick blackish/brownish "gel" on the first filter cartridge. It look like mold had formed and created a horrible looking jelly.
It had been so long since I had used the Sears cartidges, I hadn''t remembered that the OEM parts from Sears never had this problem. I have returned to buying these from Sears and have eliminated the ugly mold-jelly! I don''t know what is was, but it disturbed me. It is worth the extra money to me to no see it ever again.

We have been using these filters in our Kenmore reverse osmosis filter system for a couple years now. We have a bit of Virginia red dirt in our county water supply so our pre-filter comes out dark red every 6-9 months or so. However, our post-filter always looks brand-new at the change. Thus, I simply take the post-filter, move it to the pre-filter location, then put a new filter in the post-position. I use half the filters and the system functions perfectly. Particularly in the winter, when the tap water enters the house cold, the water is outstanding.Want Sears Kenmore 38476 Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filters Discount?

It''s not heavy as the HK one can get and it''s easier to clean too. On the Medium setting (which would be halfway to to the MAX settingsince there''s no actual words printed on the unit, just dots), it lasted for almost 3 days straight on a full tank and then it turned off automatically when empty. It works really well even though it''s smaller.
Hello Kitty does not turn off like this one does when the tank is empty, the HK stays on with a red light glowing. This one really does turn off and doesn''t keep using your electricity like the HK one does.
Plenty of steam comes from the nose of the bear on MAX but the things near it will get wet easily fairly quickly. I recommend the Medium setting and you''ll get the best output for moisture that isn''t too much or too little. Plus it''ll last for days (2 days and a half or so for me and even though the tank isn''t real big, it lasts a long while more than the HK one. It''s really nice not have to refill so often).
Hello Kitty has a soft blue night light feature, but it does get a little hot at the base. No fire issues for me though and I''ve had mine for years.
The Polar Bear''s base gets warm but it''s no where near hot and when it turns off due to an empty tank, it really does turns off (unlike HK which stays on and continues to be hot at the base).
I get sinusitis often due to polyps so this humidifier is a must for me. I sleep better because of it.
This unit is probably the safest option/version for your kids since it doesn''t get heated like the Crane ones (I do like the Crane units except for the heat issue).
I highly recommend this Polar Bear. It''s blue and white and very cute/charming with the bear having a clear blue tummy. (The HK model is hard to see the water level unless you turn on the night light and it''s dark in the room.)
I''m thinking of buying another for my sister. Just wish it had a night light feature like the Hello Kitty one does. Thank you for reading my review :)I bought this in April 2011 and I''m having to send it in for warranty work already. When it works, it''s awesomemy son loves it, it''s helped tremendously with his dry skin, it''s not incredibly noisy so he''s able to sleep just fine with it on. After a few months of nightly use, it started making a loud buzzing noise intermittently. When this would happen, the mist output decreased significantly. It''s been getting progressively worse, to the point that we haven''t used it at all for the last 3-4 months. I finally e-mailed Sunpentown after going through all the troubleshooting steps, and they said it''s probably the nebulizer. It''s still under the 1 year manufacturer''s warranty, so I''ll be sending it to them in the next few days. My only complaint is that they don''t pay shipping both ways (only return shipping), but I think that''s pretty typical of most companies.

So far I have nothing bad to say about this product. First of all, it is adorable. The price was right. The water tank lasts a few days so I don''t have to constantly refill it. The mist does not get all over the walls and floors. It is also very quiet. Once my daughter is here I plan to put it on a shelf in her room with all her stuffed animals.Hopefully it does not start to grow mold like my Vick''s model didI plan to rinse this bad boy out once a week with hot water and vinegar. These ceramic filters are much more tougher than the Black Berkey filters. The plastic base of the Black Berkey would always break away from the the filter media after just a few months. This problem would then cause unfiltered water to leak into the lower chamber making my system useless. After about 4 broken filters I had enough and tried the ceramics. They are much better and clean the water just as well. You will have to change your fluoride filter to the PF4 to work with the ceramic type but they cost less than the PF2 types. Black Berkey needs to resolve the base issue with their filters. I will stay with the ceramics for now. I hope Black Berkey reads my review since I spent 200 bucks on worthless and poorly made filters that just fell apart.

These filter are fantastic. The base, threads and nut for fastening them to the Berkey are much tougher than what was on my Black Berkey filters. I could get them on there real tight where the Black Berkey filters nut would pop if you tried to tighten it. These are also easier to prime and clean. We are very happy with this purchase.Want (2) British Berkefeld 9" Replacement Ceramic Water Filters for Big Berkey Discount?
I purchased a Berkey Light several years ago to filter our water, I''m using well water that is good water to begin with, but store it in a big tank, I don''t want to drink what might be growing in the tank, I also don''t want to have to put chemicals in my tank either, so the Berkey Light takes care of that nicely. Eventually the black elements began to slow down, it was time to replace them. I knew that the company had been having troubles with the black elements leaking (where the element attached to the plastic base with the threads), I had contacted the company and asked about it, Dan told me they had remedied that problem, but I didn''t know how many of those potentially defective black elements were sitting in warehouses, so I decided to buy the ceramic filter instead, I figure that once it''s time to replace this unit, all of the potentially defective black elements will be sold through and I can go back to the black element. The ceramic filter fits in the Berkey Light just fine, this is the 9" model, it goes all the way to the top of the Berkey Light but doesn''t stick out. The threads for the ceramic filter are slightly larger and almost don''t fit in the holes, I thought I was going to have to ream out the holes, but they did go through just fine with just a tiny bit of fiddling.
According to the instructions, you don''t prime these like you do the black elements, you just place it in your unit and add water, the water came through in pretty short order, you have to run 2 containers of water through and discard the water, after that you can consume the water.
What I understand the difference is between the black element and the ceramic element, is the black element filters remove everything the ceramic ones do plus Lead, MTBE''s, and other heavy metals. (Amazon is notorious for removing links, so I''ll add a link to the site that discusses the differences in the comments section)
It works great, it is less expensive than the black elements, the water comes through just fine, it fits the Berkey Light and I''m happy with it.The British Berkefeld filters that I ordered came within the time period specified. They were packaged perfectly,I have been using them since this time and they work perfect, thank you.

I was worried about the lack of dimensions it looked tall, but I wasn''t sure. I needed a taller faucet to be able to fill my coffee pot without holding it the whole time.
After installation (just a simple remove and replace) the tip (outlet) of the faucet is about 7 1/2 inches above the sink top and the whole faucet is about 8 3/4 inches above the sink top.
Now I just put the coffee pot in the sink under the faucet and it fills while I grind the coffee beans. Perfect!

Hookup was identical as well, making it an easy swap out replacement.
To my surprise, the Watts faucet had much greater flow volume than my previous unit.

The Watts faucet is used for my water treatment system, and it has been performing flawlessly so far.
I''d definitely buy another.

Can''t beat the price (not at local stores, that''s for sure) and is much better built than filter mfrs. (Culligan) similar faucet seen at local stores. My faucet did NOT drip at all after I installed it. The only problem I had was trying to connect it to a 3M water filter Filtrete 3M Filtrete Water Station which had larger tubing connectors. It took 2 visits to 2 hardware stores to find an adapter...so I now have larger 1/4? (?) tubing (provided by 3M with the filter) coming from the filter, then a brass adapter with 2 compression fittings at each end, leading to smaller 1/8 (?) tubing (from hardware store) and a final compression fitting (hardware store) at the base of this faucet. All leak free after 48 hours but the extra connections make me a little nervous. It is also a bit alarming how easily you can pull the dispensing tube right out of the faucet (I did accidentally during installation), there are only 3 rubber o-rings holding it in place and a small yank will pull it right out. However, the faucet handle is what controls water dispensing so even if the dispensing tube was pulled out somehow, it will not start spraying water all over (I checked!)
Push down black handle to dispense water temporarily (it''ll spring back up). Pull up and release black handle to dispense constantly.
I guess given my sort of non-standard installation with the filter (which is my problem) and the excellent price, I have to give it 4 stars but am keeping an eye on it!

I purchased this faucet as a close-out item from Home Depot, for use with the low-pressure water filter on my boat. Installation is fairly straight-forward and the faucet itself doesn''t look bad ... but mine started leaking as soon as it was connected.Drip, drip, drip.
I thought maybe the unit just needed some time for the valve to "seat," but after more than a week it still drips about 4 cups of water within a 24-hr period, leaving me no choice but to turn the water system Off until I can buy a different faucet to replace it.
UPDATE: the nagging leak stopped after about a week, but by then I''d already ordered a replacement faucet from a different manufacturer.Easy to install with existing mounting hole in sink. Good product. No leaks. Very functional.

- Removes chlorine, dirt, odors and more
- For use with Sprite Slim-Line shower filters
- NSF certified
- Filter rated for 6 months or 10,000 gallons whichever comes first
- Made in USA
I believe one reviewer wondered whether this would reduce the flow of a showerhead. I went with the 25% less than standard, 25% more than true low-flow Delta model (1.85GPM) that''s got 200-plus reviews and a rating above four stars. Users of the previous installed unit really like the combined setup. Looking carefully at the filter though I suppose it may reduce water pressure ''downstream'' at the showerhead somewhat, and Gallons Per Minute as result. The literature claims the standard 2.5GPM though.
I''d say the amplifying turbine design of the Delta Faucet model is a better choice than a 1.5GPM ordinary showerhead as 1.5GPM showerheads already draw mixed reviews. Any reduction below 1.5GPM from this filter would probably be noticeable, and while Al Gore would commend you for being so green it could very well negatively impact the quality of your shower. I wonder a little about the 2.5GPM claim as the filter takes up the whole space inside the housing and is densely packed with what looks like copper-ish metal shavings/flecks. And as it gets close to needing the filter replaced will it still put out the same GPM as when newly installed? Note that whatever the stuff is in the filter I seriously doubt it would end up in your water stream as the filter''s screen is tightly woven.
For those not in the know, apply the the teflon tape so it will stretch WITH the direction you''re tightening the fitting/fixture. I hadn''t noticed the product literature in the bottom of the hassle-free-to-open box on the first one I bought as it''s brown like the cardboard. Turns out in addition to plumber''s tape you get a cling sticker (like an oil change reminder sticker)with a number to call for replacement filters. The enclosed product information is INCREDIBLY DETAILED, and here goes supplying all of it:
It claims this filter removes more chlorine than any other model, reminds you to thread the teflon tape clockwise, and includes an exploded diagram, which shows the optional showerhead this company sells (not that you''d think getting their model gives you an advantage over a well-reviewed alternative). It claims to remove 75% of free chlorine for six months or 5000 gallons, whichever comes first.
It says it removes "Combined Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite) and Hydrogen Sulfide the latter of which they say causes an odor in the water, but they don''t give percentages for the last two. They list it as tested and certified by "NSF International" to remove the 75% of free chlorine, whoever NSF is. It says their system removes more chlorine "at a wider temperature range." Maximum operating temperature is 120 degrees and maximum pressure it''ll tolerate is 125 lbs per square inch. And a tiny disclaimer that "actual performance may vary." It says NSF International has NOT tested the product''s ability to reduce free chlorine "in the presence of chloramines" if this stuff is used to treat your water. There are some "Notes on NFS Test Protocol" but it''s quite technical, though a useful data point about NSF standards is a passing test result removes 50% of free chlorine (compared to their 75% result). Lots of useful information for a smallish pamphlet.
The design of the plastic outer housing seems to indicate that when replacing the filter either the whole unit will readily unscrew from the pipe, making it easier to unscrew the two halves of the housing if they''ve become tight with use, or the showerhead portion will unscrew alone. Either way the filter would then be easily replaced assuming you installed it correctly (and I wonder if the one-star reviewer used installed it right). The filter only fits one way inside the housing so it''s a foolproof design, and the housing appears to be high-impact/sturdy plastic. It says ''Slim Line'' in raised white letters on the side of the filter facing the showerhead, a minor nuisance for me as I don''t like looking at a product label in my house so I installed the filter to face down and not be visible to the user.
The filter needs to be ''activated'' upon entering the shower by turning on the water to "Full Hot." The unit only adds the 1.5 inches to your shower pipe length by recessing inward the side facing the shower pipe, and the resultant shape of the unit is what makes the filter impossible to install backwards. By the way their optional showerhead includes a "flow restricter" in the diagram (looks like a washer you''d put on a bolt) that''s not included with this unit, though they don''t list the GPM of their showerhead in the description.
A lot of detail I know but the description on Amazon doesn''t explain all of the features and specs and hopefully this is helpful. The disclaimer about "actual performance may vary" looks like boilerplate their lawyer insisted on, and they have no way of knowing how closely your water matches the NSF test protocl. The one question mark about this unit is "Chloramine" treated water not having been tested for free chlorine reduction. I''ll probably ask my water company if they use chloramine, and if so look for one that has been tested and rated for it as free chlorine is apparently the important thing to remove. I''d send my second unit back if I can find a different model that resolves the chloramine issue.
Supposedly you''ll notice whether a chlorine filter works by whether your skin doesn''t get dried out as much as an unfiltered shower, plus you avoid the health issue of inhaling aerosolized chlorine. Chloramine is a question mark hanging over an otherwise thoroughly impressive product in design, fit and finish, plus detailed explanation and instructions. Haven''t priced replacement filters but looks like quite a bargain. If they''d tested it in the presence of chloramine to assure the buyer that it''ll still work I''d rate it five stars.

Mounting "Simply grasp the top panel and pull it off" I''m 6ft 185 lbs and couldn''t get the top panel to slide off, maybe some C4 would help? No problem, it can be mounted in one piece.
The template doesn''t have the measurements that the directions say it does. OK, figure that out and drill the holes.
Using the spacers required for my cabinets I find that the only screws that will work are the longest ones which are so long that they bottom out in the front right hole. Out to the garage to cut the screw shorter.
Next I attempt to pull out the filter basket won''t come out. I pull on it hard enough to start flexing the entire coffee maker and it comes free. Turns out that the hole in the filter basket that engauges the retaining pin has a plastic "turd" still on it. Trim that off and it works well.
All mounted up, give the coffee maker a try. It brews a good cup of coffee. However, it doesn''t seem possible to pour that cup of coffee without getting some all over the counter.
EDIT: It appears that my caraffe is defective, which is the reason for the inability to pour cleanly. The coffee leaks between where the stainless bottom and plastic top are glued together. I''ll be contacting B&D warranty for a replacement.
UPDATE #2: Got ahold of B&D warranty and it appears that they have no parts or even any full units in stock. New pot is on order for me with no ETA.
Update #3: It''s now April 3rd and Black and Decker still does not have any replacement caraffes to send. I should have returned the whole thing immediately.
Update #4: May 5th and still no caraffe. B&D''s warranty service is unimpressive to say the least.
Final Update: May 15th finally received a complete replacement unit from B&D. Thankfully this one doesn''t leak.I got the SDC850 and installed it immediately. I have owned 4 over the last 19 years. My favorite was the GE thermal carafe (that later became black and decker) that hung from the coffee maker. Well this is just like it, except for the fact that the GE had a glass thermos type carafe and this one is Stainless. With the glass one I used to make coffee every morning and it would still be warm 9 hours later when I got home. Anyway, the SDC850 is a real nice replacement for the old spacemaker. The mounting bracket took some extreme strength to remove so it could be mounted. The template used to drill holes was a bit off, nothing that larger holes couldnt fix. This unit has a larger LCD display and LED indicators. One feature that I used to dislike was not being able to tell if the coffee maker was on. This new coffee maker addresses that. A nice bright blue LED lets you know it is brewing. The other nice feature is a blue led that stays on for 20 minutes after the brew cycle completes, thus letting you know its fresh. The unit is very high off the counter allowing for more counter space and since the carafe hangs from the unit, you do not have to leave it hanging thereby creating even more counterspace. I read all the other review about this unit and except for the mounting issues, I have had none of the other issues others have spoken of. It took years but I am happy B&D finally listened.

I just received my coffee maker and installed it. I actually only give this 1/2 a star for looking good.Screws were either too short or too long. I had to cut the long ones down, file them and die the threads to make them work. I also had to fabricate extra spacers in between the top of the maker and the cupboard for the unit to fit securely. There aren''t enough spacers provided. BIG HASSLE!
The carafe leaks in between the metal and the plastic when pouring.
The water reservoir is too large (surface area) and flat to correctly measure the right amount of water.
Clock doesn''t have a backlight. Is this too much to ask for?
My old coffee maker is a black & Decker, it''s been very good to me, just old and out dated for my kitchen, even in it years of service it still brews a much better cup of coffee than this new one.
Also, I was surprised to see in the instructions that it should be "unplugged from outlet when not in use". So I''m to reset the clock everytime I use it? I don''t think so.
I hate it when I feel taken. I guess it''s a lesson learned, This is definitely not worth the price I paid. If I can''t get a refund, I''ll throw it away, eat the $$ and not buy B&D again.

The Black and Decker SDC850 is a very nice looking coffeepot.Thankfully I read the previous reviews on here when I bought it so was prepared for a difficult time with installation. I have three suggestions to make this MUCH easier for everyone who buys this. 1) remove the top cover with the help of a 2nd person!! Pops right off when one person holds the sides of the coffee pot and the 2nd person pushes down and out on the top cover (this is not a matter of strength as one person felt it necessary to give their stats (funny!!) but simply a matter of leverage. 2) Do not trust the template 100%, it is a good guide to make your holes but is off when used to judge the distance from the front of the coffeepot and where it will sit from the front of the cabinet. Set where you think your holes should be by drawing a straight line with a pencil, then measure and recheck! and last but not least 3) go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy two #10-32 X 2" machine screws (fine thread) for the right side. For most standard cabinets you will use the two longest screws on the holes on the left and the two you will buy on the right, along with the two largest spacers on each bolt/screw.
Follow these 3 tips and you should have a hassle free installation which is what seems to be everyones main complaint! Now, enough about the installation, on to the actual unit itself.
This is my first stainless steel carafe. The unit I was using before was Mr. Coffee model FTX23. This coffee pot was quite a change. For one, I didn''t notice is said it was an 8 cup (my old was a 12 cup). The size might have discouraged me if I had noticed but honestly this may be better, less coffee left over and thrown away. The taste is good and the coffee seemed to stay fresh and hot for 4 hrs, may last even longer but that was how long mine lasted. I do wish they would have lit the LCD clock. The pictures really don''t do the unit justice. The pictures make the plastic parts of this unit look greyish and cheap. This unit is black and stainless and really compliments my kitchen with all black appliances. I don''t think it looks cheap at all. It is a very nice looking unit. I really like the blue LED lights that light up the power button and the see through water level window. As someone else on here previously pointed out, the instruction manual does say to unplug after use, it also tells you how to keep from breaking your glass carafe! These are obviously generic instructions used across many different models. I am just curious how much electricity is actually used by this pot by just leaving it plugged in all the time, as I can''t imagine resetting the clock every day! As far as I''m concerned the problems with the installation are the only reason I''m not giving this 5 stars.

We installed this product in our fifth wheel camper several weeks ago. The installation was really not as difficult as we had read in the reviews--template worked out to be true. Only difficulty we had was the nut for the bolt (that came thru right above the water reservoir) had come out and we couldn''t use that bolt, but the other 3 held it tightly enough that it was not an issue. First usage was great, as have been every usage since then. Love the way it looks, ease of filling water reservoir, temperature of coffee even 6 or 8 hours later. We had nothing but problems with the prior B&D we installed in 2003--worked fine for awhile, then wouldn''t brew coffee strong enough so it had to be run thru twice. Had to watch that the water was actually going inside the pot rather than all over the counter, warming plate quit working, couldn''t trust the programmable feature, couldn''t pour coffee from the carafe without going all over the counter or table. This new pot is a great improvement!Kenmore 14906 Humidifier Filter

UPDATE: I just finished the installation. It was very easy. I had to run to the hardware store and pick up a tee fitting to splice into the existing tubing running to the fridge. I used one of the L fittings on the adapter out of the back of the unit to angle the tubing up. The second fitting, I attached to the OUT of the filter cap in order to angle it down. I cut 8-10" of the supplied tubing and made that short connection -it''s very neat and the L fittings ensure that I don''t have a bunch of tubing jutting out behind the unit. I cut roughly half of the remaining tubing to attach to the IN and to the brass compression tee I picked up at the store (the Keurig sits right next to the fridge). I still have one quick-connect L fitting, one adapter, and about five feet of tubing left. I much prefer extra parts than not enough! I turned the water supply back on and, surprisingly, did not turn the kitchen into a kiddie pool. I turned the B150P on, it began to pull in water, told me it was heating the water up. I checked the back of the unit and no water was leaking at any time. During the heating cycle, the B150 threw an error stating that the water supply had been interrupted. My guess is that the water pressure was low while the filter became saturated. It may have also been the ice maker running. I pressed resume and, after a roughly five minute heating cycle, the B150 told me I was ready to brew a cup! Unfortunately, I don''t have any K-Cups! Off to Kroger I go!
