It is glass lined, like the old-school Aladin thermos''. It keeps my coffee piping hot as long as the next day. It is coffee pot hot 6 hours later so I''d rate it quite well. Also, when you get that last shot of coffee out of it and look inside it is EMPTY. I mean just a few drops remaining.

Also, this holds a full "12 cup" pot of coffee with about an inch left at the top.

Otherwise it is Chinese garbage what else would you expect? I only gave it 4 stars because of this, my government trained me to hate the communists and this has stuck with me.

Our water is pretty hard, though it tastes fine. I was using tap water that I ran through a Brita pitcher. That was fine, but there''s always a certain amount of water left in the Keurig reservoir after the coffee was done, and I was pouring it down the drain. This filter, in effect, cuts out the middle man by filtering the water in the reservoir.

I''ve been using it for about a month, and I can''t see any kind of scale or buildup anywhere. I''m happy about that, because I was worried that our hard water would cause me problems sooner or later.

There are some negative reviews here, but I think they''re more related to the installation process for the filter, rather than the filter itself. It''s a good idea to look carefully at the filter holder and the fitting at the bottom of the reservoir that it snaps on to before trying to install it. There''s only one way it will go on correctly, and it takes a little force and some dexterity to get it seated properly. It''s also critically important to follow the instructions for soaking the filter element in advance and rinsing it off well. It''s not hard to get it on correctly, but it does take a bit of thought and careful attention to detail.

I think this filter system is well worth the price. I''m happy I bought it, and I''d do so again if I had it to do over.

This water filter works great for us. We have very hard water and it took less than a month for the scale to start accumulating in the bottom of the reservoir. Although the filter takes a little force to get a tight fit, it appears to be doing a great job!!! We''ve had it installed for about 2-3 weeks now and reservoir is clean as a whistle. Personally, I don''t see a difference in taste, but the taste of our straight tap water really has never bothered me. I wanted the filter to preserve the inner workings of the coffee machine, and I have no doubt that this filter will be able to do the job.

For what it''s worth, I imagine the bad reviews are related to some difficulty getting a proper fit??? I initially thought something was wrong with mine and even went so far as to unscrew the fitting on the Reservoir. With the removed fitting in one hand and the filter in the other, I was able to see how they mated. So I put everything back togeter and bingo bongo.

I have a Keurig Elite and had been using bottled water. I received the filter for Christmas. It took two tries to situate it correctly and the water did not filter through the first time. I had not had my first cup of coffee yet so I think it was more my fault than anything with the filter. After waiting a few minutes and trying again (letting it soak up enough water??), it worked like a charm. So far so good. Machine is working fine, coffee tastes fine. I strongly suggest you follow the directions for rinsing the filter before putting it in the reservoir as there is charcoal seeping out of it until it is rinsed thoroughly. I am due to descale in a week or two. That will be the true test, but I have no complaints.

I recently got a Kuerig and I noticed all the coffee had a strange taste to it. I thought this may have been because the it was new and had that "new" taste. But after running plain water through it numberous times and running coffee and k-cups through it, I still got a wierd flavor. This filter works great. It fits perfect for my Orion water purifier and alkalizer (Jupiter model). It has made such a big difference in the health and wellness of myself and my family. The only down side to this filter (and it may not be the filter in this case, but the fact the water in my area is so bad causing the filter to be used up faster) is it only lasted for about three months. After about three months of pure drinking water bliss, we began to notice a metallic taste coming through. We bought another one, and replaced the old with the new, and again, our drinking water is great again. I''m just not sure how long it will last this time. We are actually filling vessels and storing them so we don''t have to turn it on and off all the time hoping this might help it last longer. Also this avoids the mistake of letting hot water run into it accidentally. At close to a hundred dollars a wack, we want to try to get as much out of it as we can. We keep about ten gallons on hand at any given time, and rotate them out, refilling about every three to four days or so.

The acid water that comes out as discharge we have found has many practical and useful purposes. It makes an EXCELLENT laundry detergent booster, especially since we are chemically aware/sensitive individuals. My towels always come out SO much cleaner pouring a gallon of acid water in with the laundry. If I have especially dirty clothes too, I''ll use some and it always makes them cleaner. I''ll use the acid water on my sponges and countertops, and pour some into the toilets between washings as a better/healthier way to sanitize. The acid water also makes a fabulous mouthwash (just don''t drink it!!).

All in all, I recommend this product and I''ve been very pleased. If your health is important to you, you can''t go wrong here...

I own this BioStone Plus filter, I and my residents can tell that water taste best from all water that they taste in their life. Kitchen Utility Brush

I purchased these hoping to be able to use them to clean the inside of my stainless steel straws. They are slightly graduated wider in diameter from the non-bristled 1/8 inch wire at the tip (the tip is coated with plastic so there is no sharp metal wire) to the end of the 3 inch length of bristles.

While they do not work for my intended purpose, they have been useful in other cleaning situations. Would I buy them again? No. It wasn''t cost effective to send them back.

I bought these brushes specifically for the tiny one. I use that one to scrub out the top of my spill-proof travel mug. It works quite nicely to get in those crevices. I have also found that they work nicely on other kitchen implements that have narrow openings. I am happy with these and they seem to be fairly durable.

Clear2O CWF1034 Three Pack Water Pitcher Filters

This is a difficult product to rate because the filters seem to do a good job of filtering our drinking water but it''s hard to know when to change them. When we first started using them, we went by the color indicator on the top of the Applica Clear 2O Water Pitcher #CWS100A but it seemed like it turned red very quickly. So I started keeping track of each time we filled it. We use a lot of filtered water in our household (more than I would have thought before I started keeping track) because the tap water has an unpleasant chlorine taste. We use the filtered water for our drinking water, coffee and cooking as well as for the pet''s water dishes, so filling it 6 or 7 times a day isn''t unusual. According to their website and the Amazon product page they are supposed to filter 50 gallons or over 88 pitchers of water. The indicator turned completely red after 55 pitchers.

I kept using the same filter and tasted the water each time, comparing it to the tap water. The filter definitely produced a glass of water that had no chlorine taste, almost like distilled water. We used the same filter until we were up to 85 pitchers full and then changed it. I''ve found that by lifting the used filter out and pushing it back in, you can make the indicator go back to green for another (presumably) 55 pitchers of filtered water. I''m keeping track again this time around and will update this review if that changes. I plan to put a sticker of some sort on top of the pitcher then next time it turns red so I know it''s the second time around and to change it when it turns red again.

So why am I going through all this trouble to stick with this filtration system? Because the water tastes way better than any filtered water I''ve tried. We used Brita and Pur filters in the past that didn''t come close. This water tastes neutral, like a distilled water. Coffee and tea made with it tastes better. And the price of the filters is more reasonable than any others I''ve seen advertised and that''s a big factor for me.

Update 4/9/12 So here''s what we''re doing to keep track of the filters now. We wait until the filter indicator turns completely red (about 55 pitchers full) and then keep track by marking off the next 33 pitchers as we use them. It''s kind of a pain, but it''s become a habit. At least the water tastes good.

The product itself is fine. It took almost a month to get to me, though. I think that a wait of that amount is bad business.

A Placebo in My Opinion:

The individual boxed version of this replacement element misleads me.

The box writeup claims this filter element is NSF certified to reduce 53 contaminants.

FSN standards:

I learned that one(1) of seven FSN standards has been designated as number fifty three (53).

FSN #53 references the reduction of seven contaminants.

This filter element does not reduce 53 contaminants. It reduces the seven contaminants referenced in FSN standard #53.

Know this: FSN standard #42 pertains to reduction in chlorine taste and odor. Understand again "reduction" does not mean elimination. Taste and odor is often a personal opinion.

I disassembled my pitcher. There is a small mechanical water meter located just before the filter element. The Meter contains a disk banded with a green, yellow and red indicator. The indicator turns as the water passes through the meter and into the filter element. The disk will eventually turn enough to expose the red area indicator after about 88 gallons passes through the meter.

To reset the water meter to green and to begin an additional 88 gallons simply remove and reinstall the same filter. The usage indicator can be reset as often as you dare. You are only fooling yourself. The meter is mechanically reset each time the filter is turned as if it were replaced. Reset the indicator meter after each pitcher refill for possible endless results and satisfaction. In my opinion these filters are over priced and labeled with misleading claims. Google the word "Placebo"

For several years, we''ve used Delta handheld shower with Aquasana water filter Then, a few months ago, the Delta broke and it was time for a replacement. We did a thorough research on Amazon and decided to purchase this Waterpik. The design looked good and the handle was very light. Regrettably, there was too much cheap plastic all around. So why the three stars? First, the harsh smell of the new rubber shower hose. How can I enjoy a nice, peaceful shower when I am enveloped in a toxic cloud? After 4 weeks of daily use, the Waterpik hose still smells awful. I replaced the hose with a 72" stainless steel shower hose from local "BDF hardware" (got it?) store. (Item #44053, $19.95) Second, since Day One, the shower head has been leaking. I changed the water setting, but to no avail. As the water flows, you can hear the constant drip.. drip.. drip into the shower floor. This is yet another example of a cheaply made, low-quality foreign product. Waterpik decided to slash U.S. jobs and build the product in China. They got what they paid for. In the future, I will seriously reconsider when purchasing another Waterpik product.

5/30/09 Update:

Well, it''s been 9 months since we purchased this Waterpik Handheld Shower. At 5 months, the showerhead got clogged. Switching to another setting didn''t help: half of the (filtered) water was streaming down to the shower floor. We then replaced Waterpik showerhead with an identical model, under warranty. Now, that replacement is beginning to clog. In Ukraine we have a saying: "We are not so -richto buy -cheapitems!" Well, we got what we paid for.

Two years ago, we purchased Delta Faucet 75520 Five-Spray Hand Shower, Chrome from Amazon. It''s been working great since Day One. Highly recommended!

In case you are thinking the "chrome finish" means metal parts, it is not so. The chrome finish is on all plastic parts. It seems that it might crack or break more easily that a metal product, of course. I thought it would be made like my sink faucet, out of metal. I will treat it with care to avoid dropping or tightening the parts so much that they crack. So far it works fine, no leaks, and the plastic does mean it is light weight in the hand. I have held metal ones that do cause some fatigue from holding the weight after a while. No complaints, but I was surprised by the all plastic, so I thought I''d post a warning! I give it 4 out of 5 because it works nicely, but it doesn''t do anything outstanding or unusual. Value for price is good, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Our original white 5 spray of many years developed a crack around the threads and liking the Waterpik, I bought this model. It leaks as you switch modes so bad that it will dump water in your face if you are too close to head. You have to center it just right not to leak. Move it all the way to each end and it will leak. Tried another one and same thing. It is going back as soon as the epoxy dries on my old one. I live 50 miles from Waterpik headquarters and am going to video the old good one and this leaky one, and the next time I''m up there, see if I can find any one who cares.

I used this product as a last ditch effort and it has saved my floor.I do it one a year and then top it with some Preen polisher. It lasts all year. This is the third year I have used it and to tell you the truth it didn''t really need it this year as it still looked good. I can understand why the user that used it on the prefinished hardwood floor would have a problem with it. It should have stated it on it''s label but it does now I believe. I think I remember reading that on the label.

I''d just had a lot of work done inside my house and the wear was showing on my floors. Weeks of carpenters, plumbers, electricians and tile setters tromping through had left their marks. I saw this product on the shelf at Home Depot and its name sounded just like what my floors needed: revival, something short of refinishing. I picked up a $2 styrofoam paint pad for an applicator, as per instructions. I cleaned my floors first with a spray wood cleaner. Then I put this on in small areas, squirting straight from the bottle and mopping it around with the applicator. It went on smooth as silk and, while wet, made everything look new.

The big surprise is it dries with the same shine! The floors look awesome. It covered up a multitude of little scratches and worn patches and left a deep, rich shine on the parquet. I don''t know long it will stand up, but for the price of a bottle, I''m willing to reapply once a year. This stuff really works as advertised. Do no hesitate.

My wife purchased this product last week and decided to try it out in our kitchen closet. It was difficult to see much of an improvement but slight improvement was eveident. She then applied the product to the rest of our kitchen. I have to say that it looks Fanstastic!

No, it won''t make your floors look totally new, but if you have company coming or worry about the damage continuously happening to your old floors, this is a must-have. I can''t recommend it highly enough. It gives your floors a nice sheen and clearly a good protective coating, also it took away from the severe contrast of dark traffic areas and less used areas.

I give this ten stars. It''s just wonderful. I don''t know about brand new floors, but even the corners of our home, which are way less used, look great. LOVE IT and I feel confident that this will be what we use until we refinish our wood flooring. One bottle just made it through our downstairs, 12x12 living room, den, family area and kitchen.

We have an 8 year old V2100 model...and it''s great. Nearly daily use, never replaced the battery (which I see is lead-acid, not NiCd) which still holds a charge fine, and still a strong vacuum. But, the last few months it doesn''t reliably turn on. So, while I''ll probably pull it apart to see if I can fix it, I''m also looking at their newer models. We had a Dirt Devil before the V2100, the DD was so useless I quickly gave it to a thrift store and picked the Dirt Tamer randomly...extremely pleased with it. I wouldn''t consider another brand, and glad to see this quality hand-vac company is still making them. Engineering wins over marketing! American automobile companies will never understand this.

Followup: Got the new model for house use, the old model with the wonky switch retired to the garage. The new model is even better: stronger vacuum, LED light, seems a little lighter, includes HEPA filter. Filterstream improved on an already great hand vac.

Followup 2: Finally replaced the lead-acid battery in the old model with a new, similar battery from a local specialty store. It was easy to do, just remove some screws and unclip the battery leads. Now the old model works great in the garage! So not a bad switch at all. Reinforces my prior opinion that this is a great vac from a great company.

Absolutely love this product, especially the wet/dry feature. It does a great job in the kitchen with all sorts of spills and works well on pet hair.

I got the FilterStream V2400 in December 2010 and love it. With an active toddler I use this thing multiple times a day for after meal/snack clean-up or when we come back from play time especially sandy or dirty. I have the charging station mounted on the wall in my kitchen and can easily grab it whenever it is needed. It is so much easier to use the FS instead of dragging out my big upright all the time. I also like how easy it is to clean and rinse out the mesh holder and foam filter. I try to clean it at least once a week since it only takes a few minutes.

I''m a bit sad about the brief 8 minute run time at full suction, but otherwise this thing is awesome.

The battery did conk out on us recently (after about 6 months), but FilterStream Customer Service got a new one out to us under warranty ASAP. Installing the new battery was fairly simple and it is charging for the next 24 hours as I type this.

I have a lot of minerals in my pump water since I replaced the submersible pump. Installed a main house filter and used these filters in it. They do remove MOST of the minerals, but do not remove all. I still have some sediment in the water, but it''s much less than coming from the well. If you require total removal of sediment, I would look into other filters. On the other hand these do a good job for the price.

The only downside is that when it turns off, there is a water-hammer sound that I didn''t have with the old solenoid.
