Keurig B150 Direct Water Line Plumb Kit

For those of you who weren''t sure if the B150 Direct Line kit would work with the B155 brewer, the answer is yes. If you follow the instructions for installation precisely, it will work great.

There is more to the story, however. The unit I received was slightly damaged, the water level sensor magnet in the reservoir was loose, and the retaining device unhitched. I compared this to the pour over resevoir, discovered the error, got the magnet back in place, and re-installed the retainer. I didn''t realize that I installed the magnet backwards, with the magnet facing inside instead of outside the reservoir. Because the magnet was backward, the unit thought there was no water in the reservoir. I thought the direct plumb kit was incompatible. I got it working perfectly after discovering and correcting my blunder.

I did not get the filter kit, so my warranty is void. The plumbing is rather simple, the unit is exactly like a dishwasher from a plumbing standpoint, so if you get a dishwasher hookup kit from your local hardware store, the only challenge is how it hooks into the water supply system. There is some adaptation required if you hook into the refrigerator ice-maker line as I did. For those that are plumbing challenged, you should consult with a good friend who is not, or hire a plumber as the instructions suggest.

This is a very expensive endevour for a home coffee maker, it is solely for those who value convenience highly, or want to brag about never having to fill the damn reservoir ever again. I love the fact that I can brew at will, or make cups for guests at will without having to fill.

Four stars instead of five only because I had to fix, troubleshoot, and re-fix. Otherwise, completely happy about the purchase.

The kit was very easy to install on a B155 and it works great. You do have to unplug the machine and plug it back in to get it to recognize the tank, which they don''t mention in the instructions.

I use this on a boat which has a traditional steel faucet. The adapter to plug the hose in with comes with several sizing''s to make this possible. One worked. The pitcher fills quickly and the water is great. We can''t use this in our kitchen which has a big non-traditional faucet head, but otherwise this is easily the best pitcher on the market.

The opening is too small to make cleaning easy, and water tends to get trapped underneath the plastic ring surrounding the opening. The only reason I bought the replacement is because it was cheaper than buying a whole new coffee maker. If you are considering this coffee maker I would recommend moving on to another choice.

I must say, I''m extremely disappointed in this product. In less than 12 months, I''ve already had to replace the damn thing 3 times because the glass keeps cracking due to the heat. How can the maker fail to make a coffee pot that can withstand hot temperature? it''s absolutely ridiculous. Couple that with the fact the rim is too small and it''s difficult to get your hand in the pot to wash it out, and that the handle has been loose on all 3 pots, I can safely say I''m never purchasing a Mr. Coffee coffee maker again.

The Good: The water filter works well. The water tastes great and is an economical and eco-friendly alternative from bottle water.

The Bad: Although I received a competitive price for this replacement filter on my Everpure H300 system at Amazon, I needed two plumbers and practically three weeks of badgering to Everpure to get a new head for my filtration unit that was not accepting the replacement filter. The older (3-4 years+) heads on the Everpure units are poorly engineered. The newer heads are significantly better.

The Ugly: Everpure does not have a protocol or any policy to recycle their used filters. I called the company''s headquarters and was told to throw the used filter in the garbage. Everpure provides a healthly alternative to tap water for the home and office. That''s great. But they are far from being an environmentally sustainable company. Their filters have been absorbing heavy metals, toxins and whatever else may be in the tap water over a long period of time. It is unacceptable to have a policy by default that their used filters be thrown into the waste stream. I will be following up with Everpure''s management on this issue...

Great tasting water, dead simple to install and maintain, but it can get clogged very easily such that water flow slows to a very low rate ie. 15 mins/gal!

After two weeks the filter slowed to a nearly unusable flow rate. I found out that this is because it has a small micron filter and any sediment that comes into the filter will begin to clog it. So, if they dig up a pipe around you and some dirt flows in your filter, or if you have a bit heavy sediment the flow will be greatly reduced to the point of being useless.

So far it seems you need to also install a prefilter to prevent this.

Although these cartridges are expensive, they actually last far longer than recommended. With a family of two adults, our cartridge lasts about 2.5 to 3 years. I have had this system in other homes I have lived inn and will continue to install one when we move again.

This Bunn BX-B 10-cup coffe brewer is a pricey but fantastic coffee maker for your home or small office. I bought one for my office, so that I can make myself a quick pot of coffee when I get to work or whenever someone stops by to visit my office during the day. This machine makes coffe FAST and the flavor of the coffee is always consistent. Although I have never found many of the Bunn coffee makers to be much of a fashion statement, this unit is fairly high-tech looking, with its black and stainless color combination. Since the water flows out of this unit so quickly, using a showerhead type spray pattern, I highly suggest that you always use genuine Bunn coffee filters as the store brand filters are usually not tall enough, causing the ground coffee to splash up and over the edge of the shorter filters.

One noteable difference between this and most previous pour-over Bunn models is that this unit does not require the use of a seperate water pitcher. You simply fill your coffee pot with water, lift the little door on the top/front of the unit and pour your water in. The most important step is to place the coffee pot on the warmer plate, being sure to center it properly, before lowering the door on the top of the coffee maker. As soon as you lower the door the water will start to flow quickly. If you lower the door before you place the pot underneath, you will likely end up with a bit of a mess. Also, I recommend that you insert your filter and pour in your measured amount of ground coffee before pouring water into the Bunn, because even with the door up I find that some water tends to drip from the output nozzle, causing water to drip down onto the warmer plate. I fill my pot with water, set it aside while installing my filter and ground coffee, then pour in my water, center the pot on the warmer plate and then lower the door. This has produced proper function every time, without any mess to clean up.

This way I don''t have to worry about leaving the warmer plate turned on over night or over the weekend. Overall I am extremely happy with my Bunn BX-B coffee brewer. It is easy to use and makes a great tasting pot of coffee in just under 3 minutes. It is also a great device for producing plain hot water. If you exclude the filter and coffee this unit produces a pot of very hot water in less time than it takes to make the normal pot of coffee. This is great for making instant coffee, hot chocolate, tea, instant oatmeal, etc. The BX-B carries a pretty hefty price tag (as all Bunn models do), but it is built well and makes excellent coffee in a flash. If you believe that time is money (as I do), then the Bunn BX-B is worth every penny for all of the time you''ll save. =o)

I bought this to replace an older Bunn which I loved, but was accidentally ruined by my wife. However, the new model does not heat the water hot enough. I performed several tests and the water conistently comes out at 180 degrees. This is below Bunn''s stated temperature of 190. Ten degrees may not sound like much, but it makes a big difference.

I usually put a pot of coffee in a thermos after it is brewed. Since the Bunn''s brewing temperature is so low, the coffee does not stay warm for very long. I believe that a good coffee maker should heat the water a little above 190 so that the coffee comes out hot.

I believe other reviewers have had the same complaint. I sure wish Bunn would go back to their old design. I think this is going to be the last Bunn I will purchase.

I have been looking for a new coffee maker and went to consumer reports, Amazon, Qvc, HSN, and read all the reviews.

So this is the one I picked, and I am so blessed that I picked this coffee maker, on a score from 1 to 10 I give it a big 10. Coffee is brewed hot; we grind our own coffee beans, as we do not buy coffee out in the coffee shops. What we do buy is the best coffee beans we like, Dunkin Donuts, Green Mountain Yankee Doodle, Coffee by Design here in Maine.

If you want a good cup of coffee buy this unit, and you will not be sorry. Remember that when you go out to the coffee shops and pay $2.08 for a large, that is $64.20 a month for just one cup of coffee a day, think of the nice coffee maker you could have, and the best beans ground at home. We also have the Bunn coffee grinder, that we have had for three years now.

This is not my first Bunn. The one I just replaced gave us many years of

faithful service. The reason I made this purchase is the age of the old one and an occasional strange noise. I did not want to get caught without a coffee pot. The new Bunn arrived very quickly and I am pleased

I don''t normally review a item after owning it just over a week, but today I decided I should review the Bunn BX. Like I said, I have only owned it just over a week. No problems setting it up, just follow the instructions. It has made good coffee from day one. I love getting it ready to brew and then going out to get the paper. It''s ready before I can get out the door. With my old brewer, I still was waiting after I started reading the paper.

This morning put the icing on the cake for me. I had just put coffee in the basket when the electric went out. I thought No coffee. There was a cup left from yesterday, maybe I could heat it in the microwave, but could not even do that. Then it hit me, there was heated water in the tank. All I need to do was pour the cold water in to push that hot water out. So five minutes into a power outage, I was brewing a nice hot "5 star" cup of coffee. I would think one could brew coffee even a half hour into a power outage.

The only down side to the Bunn is that it is not a 12 cup. But I can put up with that after this morning.

I bought this to replace my Everpure H-300 filter. The Body Glove filter is almost double the cost of the Everpure. So why waste your money? I bought it for two reasons. First, it is almost three inches shorter than the Everpure. It fits under my sink. The Everpure barely fit. Clearance was so tight I had to use a screwdriver to detach the valve from the wall every time I replaced it. The last time I removed it the copper pipes bent and flooded the area under the sink. I had to call the plumber. That cost much more than one of these Body Glove filters. The second reason is water flow. The Everpure is slow. It takes a long time to fill a glass of water or a coffee pot. Do you have one? Have you ever been bored watching it fill the coffee pot, only to leave and come back to the sound of overflowing water? The Body Glove is fast and fills a glass in seconds. We bought one of these systems shortly after we brought our twins home from the NICU. Unfortunately my wife was not able to breast feed and we had to put them on a formula diet. We wanted to make sure that they were getting the purest water and the cost of "Good" bottled water was out of the question for how much we were using. At the height of our boys formula consumption they were going through up to a gallon day. I will admit that at first we bought this with the intention of just using it for the kid''s needs. That''s sure changed. Here is an explanation of the whole install process and what we ended up using it for.

1. When we got the system it had great instructions and was very easy to install. I am not a professional plumber by any means and I was able to install it in less than an hour of working time. I ran into one problem under my sink that required a trip to Home Depot. I mention this because some of you might run into this problem which is 100% the builder/plumber of your homes fault and now yours to deal with. I had these cheap copper hot and water flexi pipes, that they use in some track homes, coming out of my wall instead of the industry standard valves. If you don''t know what I am talking about skip this part. This system needs the industry standard valves and I had to change them out. It is no big deal and it is a worthwhile upgrade to your house. The copper flexi pipes have a tendency to crack over time and will cause flooding if they do.

2. Once I changed out the valves it was smooth sailing. There are 2 brackets that you have to screw into the back of your cabinet that hold the filters and one hole you have to drill into the drain pipe. Hook up some fittings and place the tank off to the side and you are done. I am not an instruction guy but I will tell you that you need to use the ones that come with this. I was lucky and my sink had a soap dispenser that we didn''t use and that hole was perfect for the water tap. I tightened everything up and it was working in about an hour once the tank filled. Remember the tank has to fill. I got frustrated when everything was hooked up and I didn''t have any pressure. After consulting the instructions I realized I had to wait.

3. At first we basically used it for formula and continued to drink our bottled water. Please don''t ask me why? I am a mountain spring water guy and believed in the glorious dream that perfectly clean water bubbles out of the ground and they bottle it. My wife and I started drinking the RO water and it was really good. It tasted better than my dream of the mountain spring water. So, now we are all drinking and cooking with the RO water. Anything that we cooked or mixed that needed water got the RO water. We even got Nalgene BPA Free, of course, water bottles to last us through the day. I even got in a fight with our daycare because they made the formula as needed and used tap water. I brought them RO water every day for our boys.

4. So now I had one last problem. We were using the tap water for our refrigerator and ice maker. I contacted a rep at Advanced Water Filters and he explained to me how to connect my fridge to the RO system. I also used this as an excuse to change the carbon filter in my fridge. I figured it was time and it was polluted. I now have a T valve going from the faucet supply line to my refrigerator. This gives us cold RO water and also RO ice. The first thing that I noticed is that the ice my fridge makes is now clear. With the tap water it was always white and cloudy. I''m not sure of the scientific reason but I am sure clear is better. I will say that this was far more complicated and took two trips to Home Depot but was well worth it. You will need additional fittings, plastic water pipe, and may have to do a little drilling.

Overall I am very happy with this and everyone in our family wouldn''t want to go without it.

I have very hard water in my area (around 20 gpg, +/-), and our city has very poor quality water as well; sometimes it even smells and tastes like bleach has been mixed into it. I am quite paranoid about the quality of my coffee. Note, minerals are not always bad in water! What you dont want is a huge amount of excess scale minerals (calcium and magnesium) and chemicals such as chlorine, nitrates, etc., However, calcium and magnesium are necessary for our bodies to function properly, and they are also great flavor minerals in water, if in the right amounts. The Tapmaster Artesian RO system provides just the right amount of trace minerals so that the water tastes great and the pH is balanced. AND, they do not scale up your appliances! Those cheaper units rob your body of vital nutrients, as well as make sub-par coffee and tea, and produce tasteless water. In addition, their customer service is phenomenal. I know I''m getting long-winded, but I''m excited about this product. We live in a rural area and are on a shared well. The biggest problem we have with our water from the well is a strong sulfur smell. We had a competitor''s reverse osmosis system for 3 years and we blew out the main element 4 times because the sulfer was destroying it. Purchased this product based primarily on the feedback left on Amazon. Needed R/O for our reef aquarium, and decided it would also save $$ on bottled water, which my family seems to prefer. This unit was easy to install (really!)... I have no plumbing background, but actually mounted the filter system and reservour in my basement, below my kitchen sink. I didn''t have enough room under the sink (not due to product bulkiness, but I have a very small area under the sink. Works perfectly, with no loss of water pressure (about an 8'' drop).

First, the instructions with this product are EXCELLENT. If you follow the directions to the letter (and you can tell they were written by someone who speaks English) you will have no problems. Also, the web site offers excellent video "how to" videos... I didn''t need them, though, because the written directions were awesome.

The unit has been up and running for a week, and is producing terrific water. The only complaint I have is the price, which is why I gave it 2 stars. The filter system is all plastic, with plastic tubes and quick-connects linking the different filters together. Someone with the proper knowledge and skills could create the same thing for about 25% of the cost... But I''m not that dude...

Despite the cost, I would recommend based on all of the other qualities.

Over the last ten years, I have bought two of these units and I am so pleased that my only regret is that Amazon doesn''t allow me to use six stars! Four years ago, when I sold my house in Florida, I used my Artesian Tap Master as a sales argument so I had to leave it behind. When I moved outside the country, the first thing I did was to order a new model. (This time, I added a little pump that maximizes the tank capacity. Not indispensable, but I''m glad I did). Since you are reading this review, I don''t need to tell you what I think about the folks who spend big bucks on unhealthy bottled water (Amazon would not print it). This fantastic little device, easily concealed under the sink, pays for itself in a matter of months. If you can tie your own shoes, and are able to follow simple instructions, you can install it yourself. Technical support is out of this world. You reach a real, knowledgeable, and helpful person immediately. One of the amazing things, apart from the excellent taste of the water (if you are used to municipal distilled water sold to you in a bottle, like it was Evian water you are in for a shock!) is that I use a lot of water (even connected my freezer ice maker and my expresso machine permanently) but have to change the filters only once a year (on my birthday). These don''t seem to work as good as my last order with the white skin label, because my scalp starts itching the day after I shower and shampoo, like what happened before I installed the shower filter. Before I could go for a couple of days (in this cold weather) without my scalp itching. The chlorine smell in our water was terrible before the filter.

Sylvan Ozone Generator 3500mg/hr Ozone Output Save 78% Off

After reading all the reviews, I splurged and bought one of these newer units with the "Always ON" feature for an old 1800 sq/ft house. It worked great removing the horrible stench of a dead squirrel in one of the walls that lingered for weeks even after removing the carcass. Bleach and deodorizers had very little affect especially with the high humidity.

For the first week, it worked great. I decided to use the "Always ON" feature while I stayed at a friend''s place for the weekend. When I came back a day later, I noticed it was not outputting any ozone. The plate inside the unit was not lighting up usual purple so I contacted Sylvan, and they advised me to clean off the Ozone Plate. So I opened it up, and noticed a fruit fly on the plate. I wiped it off with some rubbing alcohol and it revived the dead unit, but it was flickering on and off and parts of the plate were not lighting up. After contacting Sylvan, they agreed to send me replacement ozone plate which I told them I would replace myself.

I gave this product 3 stars, because when it works, it does a great job, but I believe the issues I had with this unit is due to lack of features. It needs a filter for the intake port to keep debris and insects from entering the intake port and shorting out the ozone plate. I believe it has a 400cfm fan, which will pull in a lot of air and particles through the unit.

If I can figure out it was in fact the fly that shorted the plate out and not the quality of the parts used inside, I may end up keeping it and customize it to suit me better like adding a filter and installing a different timer.

The unit is completely dead besides the fan. I opened up the unit, opened the case for the power supply and I noticed a 22uF 400V capacitor had a nice hole in it. This is the reason why the Ozone Plate is not working and the reason why it was flickering before. The manufacturer of the capacitors are JakeC, which is a known low quality brand from China.

I will try to replace the bad capacitor and see how it goes.

**UPDATE 8/14/10**

After replacing the bad 22uF 400V capacitor and the other one (for safe measure), it was still dead. Since most of the PCB and components were covered in epoxy, the only thing I could test were the two 13005 transistors mounted on the heat sink (metal lower panel). Both transistors were shorted so I replaced them with high quality parts (part# ST13005) and now it''s back up and running. I ran it for a 24 hour cycle in our shed, and it''s been running fine without issues.

Also, the front grill is starting to oxidize from the ozone after (3) 24-hour cycles, and (10) 1-hour cycles). I assumed it was stainless steel but now it doesn''t appear so.

It has been running great and has been doing a good job even after running it for 48 hours straight. I contacted Sylvan about the repair I made, and they offered to compensate me for my time, which shows that they do care about their customers, but I gladly declined.

My unit is still working well. I haven''t had the need to use it as much, since it did a very good job initially by eliminating the odors that wouldn''t go away. I use it maybe once a month to freshen the house and it still outputs huge amounts of ozone. For anyone not very familiar with Ozone Generators, especially ones that output this much ozone, they can be hazardous to your health so I would recommend only using it when there are no people/pets in the house (use with caution). When I walk into the house while the Ozone generator is running, I have a very difficult time breathing. Let the room air out for an hour or two and/or open windows after it has shut off.

I also want to add that long term use of this machine is not wise. Our 3 month old leather furniture ($2,500) is beginning to crack in some areas (non-seating areas) from the initial "bombing". I also ran this in my car for an hour and when I went to grab the steering wheel (has a rubbery/plastic cover), it felt very sticky. I realized the ozone was starting to break down (oxidize) the steering wheel cover which shows how damaging this much ozone can be things.

I''ve used this maybe a total of 10 times since my original review and it''s still working well. Apparently, the repairs I made are still holding up. I recently quit smoking and used this in my car to get rid of the lingering smoke smell. Ran it for 30 minutes and now I cannot tell I ever smoked in there.

I read a couple of reviews on here and it appears that other people are having the same issues. If the manufacturer used better parts inside the power supply, I''m sure this product would have 5 star reviews across the board because this ozone generator is very effective when it works.

This is my very first review ever on anything, but the product warranted my input. Asthetically, it is not much to look at. However, it does what it says it does. I live in a row Townhouse condo complex and live next door to smokers. Unfortunately, they smoke in the basement, and the smell travels through the spaces left open by the common pipes that run through each unit, making my laundry room and rec room literally stink as if there were 10 people sitting in the laundry room smoking. After much confrontation, they have ceased smoking, however, the residue of the nicotine stuck on all my possessions in the storage area of my laundry room. I had tried vinegar, bleach, air purifier... anything I could think of to remove/reduce the smell. Our restoration company told us about the industrial ozone generators they use to eradicate smoke smell after a fire. After reviewing many models on-line, I finally broke down and purchased this generator. Got it yesterday and ran it for 1/2 hour (it is two 8x10 rooms) in the evening. It did exactly what it said it would do. The "oxygen" smell is akin to a downpour of rain during a hot summer day... pungent, yet clean. Next, I will try it in my vehicles, and also the bathroom to help control any bacteria. I am very pleased with this item well worth the money highly recommend it.

Performance, however is truly mind-blowing a 1000 sq. ft. area with 9 ft ceilings was completely clear of mold in two one hour treatments. Read and follow the enclosed instructions this is not an ionizer you''d run continuously, it''s way too powerful for that. I would recommend this product to anyone, it''s not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Used this product in a Culligan HF-150A whole house housing but used it undersink. The whole house filter cartridges are cheaper and filter much faster than the "under sink" marketed products. This filter worked great, fit in the housing, and makes the water taste almost as good as our rainwater system with a 4 stage + UV filtration system at a different house but for a lot less. We don''t do a separate sediment step, just this one. I''ll update review if filter doesn''t do well in the future.

Update 1/10/2013 still have it installed under our sink, hasn''t leaked since the day we installed it, and the water has tasted perfectly filtered since then. We have it hooked to the cold side of the kitchen sink so ALL cold water passes through the filter. You can imagine how many gallons have been filtered through it by now and it still is like new. No way an undersink one would''ve lasted this long. Also, the undersink ones can''t pass water very quickly. Since this is a whole-house filter, it easily keeps up with the pressure. You can''t even tell a difference from before and after it was installed, and if someone didn''t tell you it was there you wouldn''t even know.

I will probably watch and buy several of these as replacements when they drop in price.

I use this filter to remove sulfur smell in water at my cabin. It removes all the smell and lasts four months. I use it as a whole house filter.

I recently installed three different water filters all together under my kitchen sink:1) Culligan D-10A Level 1 Drinking Water Replacement Cartridge Carbon-Impregnated Cellulose (2 filters for $10); 2) Pentek EP-10 Carbon Block Filter Cartridge (9-3/4" x 2-7/8"), 5 Micron ($12.50) & 3) KX MATRIKX Pb1, Extruded Carbon Block -0.5 micron Water Filter Cartridge, 06-250-125-975 ($17). I used 3 inexpensive Culligan water filters housings to plumb my system. I used a simple PVC water valve to adjust (slow) the water through my last 2 drinking water filters. My plumbing has the cold water at sink tap going through 1st filter: The Culligan''s Carbon-Impregnated Cellulose filter. ... Then that filtered water is plumbed to also feed my drinking water facet through 2 additonal filter housings which had in line the Pentek EP-10 (5 micron) carbon block filter, then the better KX MATRIKX Pb1 (0.5 micron) carbon block filter.

I tested the hot water & cold water at sink tap, and then my drinking water at separate drinking water tap with a TDS water quality tester (HM Digital TDS-4 Total Dissolved Solids Pocket Size Meter). I was surprised to find my TDS (total devolved solids) was slightly higher at my drinking water tap (which is channeled through 2 additional carbon block filters) than the cold water sink tap going through just the cheaper Culligan filter. I measured 125 TDS on hot water side of facet that has no filtering; 90 TDS at cold water sink facet going through just the Culligan cellulose filter; and 92 or 93 TDS at drinking water tap running through the two additional carbon block filters. This was after flushing the filters for the recommended 5 minuets (I likely did 10 minutes, then used setup for a week). I wondered why the TDS test results would be higher after going through the two additional carbon block filters??? Testing some more: When I took the Pentek EP-10 (5 micron) carbon block filter out of the 2nd postion housing and left that housing empty, ... I got the results I wanted to see. The TDS then measured at 87 at drinking water tap. That was 3 less TDS than the cold water sink tap) going through only the Culligan Carbon-Impregnated Cellulose Filter. A later test produced a 10 points less TDS at drinking water tap.

While I have not done further tests or tried a different Pentek EP-10 carbon block filter, I suspect the Pentek is below par and somehow added TDS to my drinking water setup. These test results were on filters that were all replaced about one week earlier. I believe the KX MATRIKX Pb1 (0.5 micron) filter is worth the extra money. The cheaper Culligan certainly does some good filtering of TDS too. I would test these filters out more if I was getting paid for it. I won''t be buying the Pentek brand again unless they supply me with a new filter that gets better TDS test results. TDS tests might not represent the full picture. Update: Did second test under different sink: TDS results for aged Culligan filter to sink tap then drinking water through the additional Pentek filter (the one I removed for main kitchen setup described above). TDS results fluctuated a bit/ close to the same. ... The Water Tasted better going through 2nd filter (the Pentek). No other filters were used in that TDS test.

Mr. Coffee TM1 2-quart Ice Tea Maker

I had the old one with the orange top. That one has a top basket to hold the tea bags which incorporates a side lever to plug the bottom drain hole, and an overflow channel so just the last couple of cups steep the tea until you pull the lever to release them. The new one with the blue basket has done away with that lever (I''m guessing to cut costs) and just put a little bit smaller hole at the bottom. They also tell you to use a coffee filter in the basket in addition to the teabags themselves, which after all are little paper filters. This is probably to slow down the run-out of the tea to help it steep it a little bit longer. My favorite combination of bags is one bag or Celestial Seasons Red Zinger, one Lipton Mango, and two Red Rose decaf''s. In the old one I would let this combination of tea steep for maybe 10 minutes, and it came out perfectly. Using the same bags with the new one makes *really* tasteless, watery tea.

I just found a new model that makes 3 quarts and has a dial on the front for what they call "brew strength". This is a decided advantage over the other revised model. Also, you get a quart more of tea per cycle. You pour the water directly into the unit, where there is a window on the front with markings for 1, 2 and 3 quarts. The container has markings for how much ice to use for 1, 2 and 3 quarts. This is a better design, IMHO. Also, the pitchers are shorter, so fit in more places in your fridge, and the handles don''t attach at the pitcher bottom, so you can nest them for storage. This is a big advantage over the old style. The new one comes with 2 pitchers. You can turn them both upside-down over the base unit to save even more storage space.

My recomendation: don''t buy the newer 2 quart blue basket model. Hold out for the 3 quart model. And here''s the kickerI found mine at Wal-Mart for $2.00 less than Target was selling the 2 quart model!

I was born and Raised in North Carolina so i know Ice tea especially sweet Ice Tea! I do not drink coffee but I drink 4 gallons of sweet tea on a slow week, and I make it all in one day on the weekend so I have to do it as efficiently as possible! This pot works great to brew the tea easily but god help you if you try to pour it into a glass from the included pitcher! It runs all down the front of pitcher onto the floor, your dog, your feet, etc! Personally I have the older 3qt model with the round pitcher and it works great, but at my urging that newer must be better my mom and dad bought this newly designed model (They were making tea in a pot like grandma did it) Well between my mom, my dad, myself and my wife none of us can pour tea out of this thing without having to wipe down the pot, the counter and even the floor and your feet on occasion! Do not buy this triangular shaped 3qt Ice tea pot, instead buy the one with the round pot. It is also made by MR coffee, and it works quite well both brewing and pouring, no wet feet, no sticky counter and floor. I am willing to bet the engineer that designed this thing never even tried to pour a glass of tea out of it! It looks good, but lacks function. Like I said if you want fast easy ice tea get the Mr coffee 3qt model with the round pitcher and save a lot of hassle and mess! If you have to mop up the counter and floor it defeats the purpose of using a time-saving appliance!

The lid that doesn''t fit and gets tea all over the floor. The fact that tea is down inside double layer pitcher but one more is the fact that after the tea cuts off you need to wait at least fifteen minutes before removing the tea pitcher from under the maker because thats how long it takes for all the tea to drain out of basket. Hot tea running down counters is not a pretty sight.

I have a warm mist humidifier (the Vicks UV with 2 water containers, similar to my previous Slant Fin humidifier), and this cleaner is extremely effective. Rather than filling the heating compartment five or six times with vinegar when I clean it once a week (after removing the mineral absorption pad), I can fill the compartment once for a matter of a few minutes and all the hard water residue is gone. My water may be harder than yours.

Unfortunately, the instructions on the bottle say that the product should not be discarded in the sink; it should only be discarded in the toilet. This turns out to be virtually impossible to do. The sink in my bathroom is too small to rinse out the humidifier, so I have to rinse it in the kitchen sink. The warning is not specific enough to tell me what the danger is for putting it down the sink. Does it harm the tadpoles in the sewer, or what? My solution is to run the water in the sink for three or four minutes to minimize whatever the potential is. So I am left to wonder if I''m doing damage to my plumbing. I''m giving only five stars for effectiveness minus one star for uncertainty.

Instruction is not very clear. It says "Use plastic brush to apply", but it does not work that way. You must immerse whole unit with this chemical for a couple of hours to get a good result. Calcium deposit/scale is very tough to remove. I used almost one third of the bottle for cleaning one humidifier. I need to repeat it regularly.

Amway eSpring UV Light Water Replacement Cartridge

The water purifier arrived safely, intact and has been purifying my tap water ever since. No problem. Fully satisfied.

I have been using this item for the past five years. It lasts for about one year before replacement and is really an invaluable resource for getting a ''pure'' glass of water straight from the kitchen tap.

Unfortunately my in-laws are Amway people, so for our wedding gift we got the eSpring water purifier. Saeco Easy Fill 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffee Maker Save 24% Off

I had tried three different machines before purchasing this one, and I am completely satisfied with it. The equivalent Cuisinart machine, which has excellent ratings on Amazon and elsewhere was a huge disappointment: the place where you fill the water is this tiny area on the back right of the machine when you lift off the cover...getting the water in there at 5AM when I am half asleep was NOT easy. That is why that machine went back to the store. Then I tried the Krups, and thought is was a little better, i.e. the space to get water in was somewhat larger, it was still not ideal, and after a couple of days the indicater for how much water is in the tank seemed to have air bubbles in it so the reading was completely inaccurate. I tried to refill a number of times and put unit upside down...but could not fixt the bubble problem, so that one went back to the store. Then I tried the Kitchenaid coffee maker with the romovable water tank...great idea and super easy, BUT, this coffee machine had a basket filter area and not cone, and I almost overflowed the filter area making only 7 cups of coffee (because we like our coffee strong). There is NO WAY I could have made the full 12 cups with that machine. The Saeco has removable tank and cone filter and is super-easy to use, very quiet, it''s a front loader so you don''t have to pull out the machine every time you make coffee...I am extremely satisfied with its design and performance...I have had it for a month now and thought I would write a review because it only had one!! I highly recommend this coffee maker!!

Bought Saeco Easy Fill coffeemaker to replace another brand w/ same features (don''t have to move coffeemaker from under cabinets) that quit working after 5 months. Waited a couple weeks for it to be released pretty happy so far. Just made my 2nd cup w/ the Saeco: machine has been on for an hour and coffee is HOT. Directions in manual aren''t very clear, but it was fairly easy to figure everything out. Push a button on the front and the water/coffee "hopper" pulls out of machine. Fill w/ water, set on counter and fill w/ coffee, put back in machine & hit "start". Comes w/ permanent filter, but I''ve never liked those: even the manual says you''ll end up w/ grounds in the carafe. I didn''t realize it took "cone" filters, and I have about 200 "basket" style left: I just lifted out the permanent filter, put a basket filter under it, re-inserted permanent one, and filled w/ coffee. Machine is really quiet too, no gurgling and sighing! This is the first pot of coffee I''ve brewed, so brand reliability is still in question (never heard of Saeco before), but I''m pleased so far. Can''t believe more companies aren''t designing coffeemakers that can stay put under the cabinet!!

UPDATE: Have now had Saeco coffeemaker for a couple of months. Still very pleased. LOVE that it beeps when coffee''s done brewing (for those times I get busy and forget I started it), and beeps again when it shuts off (so I can get one last cup while it''s still hot and it''s still hot after 2 hours!). So far the ONLY thing I don''t like is when I pull the hopper out to empty the grounds there are drops of water on it that inevitably roll onto the floor/counter. Not a huge deal if you''re careful, and it''s only a few drops. Could easily be solved if they changed the design to slope the top of it slightly towards the center. That is honestly the ONLY thing I don''t like about this machine. Very satisfied, definitely recommend it! Thank you Saeco!!!

Other reviewers had made comments about the machine starting to beep without warning, and that has happened to me maybe 4 times since I bought it. I simply unplug it, plug it back in, and the beeping stops. I started using the cone filters to avoid the coffee grounds in my coffee works really well. The unit has a clock with a timer. You can set and wake up to fresh hot coffee. After an hour, the unit shuts off so you won''t have to worry about going back home to turn off your coffee maker.

Our first coffee pot... did have the clock issues... the EEEE error message.. and it did go off in the middle of the night... but Amazon is great on returns.. it was super easy to do.... no problems there.... sent out the new pot right away.... and the old one was picked up right away also.

The new pot we received.. has been excellent.. no issues with the clock... the pull out drawer, fills with water and has the coffee grounds in it... so no more pulling out the coffee pot from under the cabinets anymore ... (our previous pot was a saeco also) and is still running.. but we wanted the easy fill feature. and are really happy with it.

We are very happy with this coffee pot..

This a.m. 12/27.. woke up to the beeping again.. so.. I''m not sure if it''s gone defective on us again....

love the design of this pot... just wished the clock worked and would stay working.

12/31 woke up to beeping.. pot is going back... still want the design feature.. so going to try the one with the thermal carafe..... hoping clock will be diff.

I steam clean our carpets about twice a year, and have been looking for a truly non-toxic product for this purpose. I love this product. Having children that crawl and play on the floor it''s nice to feel that you are not exposing them to abrasive cleaners with bad chemicals.

I have not noticed any difference in performance between this and the hoover carpet shampoos. Before starting up the steam cleaner, I do recommend mixing a stronger solution in a glass and apply it as a spot treatment with a dish washing brush. Makes the process faster and easier.

Well between my Hoover Clean Surge and this product. I can say that my ugly PINK carpet is now clean ugly PINK carpet. It got blueberry (the stain was over a year old) , mud, marker, high traffic areas and oil e.t.c. The scent is great like a lemon/lavender and it''s non toxic. So the 4 pets 4 kids and two adults don''t have to die trying to have a clean floor. This is great. Most all natural things you have to settle for less quality than the chemical type. I am happy to say in this case the quality is on par with the rest. My one and only gripe is the amount per gallon that you have to use. On the directions it says use 2.5 ounces per gallon... but it also says follow the amount that your cleaner says use. At 5 ounces a gallon, you go through this stuff pretty quick in my Hoover. It two bottles to do 700 sq ft or so. If they feel it takes 2.5 ou per gallon they should stick to their product recommendations. After all they know their cleaner better than Hoover. Anyway this stuff is great!
