Appear to use the same media pad as Sears; does not as sturdy a metal frame, however. This is not a problem. The Sears unit came is a old, used box, and appeared to have been used, and not cleaned. Sears also was priced double then this seller.I looked everywhere for these, including the Sears store. These fit perfectly, and I was finally able to through out my scaly old one.We had been looking all over for these humidifier filters. We saw a few that moght have worked on differnt internet sites. The way I came to know of these filter inserts was via an NSF-certified filter company who recommended the Sonaki hand held wand attachment/w vitamin C filter inserts. The reason for the recommendation at the time I first purchased the main filter was due to the fact that the filter I was buying already addressed chlorine removal and other harmful particulates, but not chloramine removal specifically which is where the vitamin C inserts came in to complete the picture.
So, if one does not already have a main filter in their shower designed to remove chlorine and other substances first, there could potentially be an undue amount of stress put on the vitamin C filters in the shower wand to remove all chlorine as well as chloramines---which it will do, but the preformance will most likely suffer tremendously as a result depending on the specific levels of chlorine/chloramine in one''s local water. If the filter inserts are only having to handle the residual chloramines that a primary filter does not catch, then the performance should be as advertised or at least close to that.
With this said, I find that these filters work very well but not as excellent as I would appreciate given the cost (They could easliy be about $10 cheaper and I would be much happier). However, I can definitely tell the difference when I am using them in concert with my main shower filter vs. when I am not. In my particular case, the 5 filters generally last ~6 months or close to that (2-3 showers/day of ~10-15 minutes for each shower or so...) when used with my main filter and the performance is very good.
Lastly, I have not experienced any sort of problems with the water not hitting the vitamin C or anything else to that effect as some other reviewers have mentioned. The only thing I would suggest in those cases is that either the filter may not be installed correctly (make sure the insert is ALL the way down in the wand) and/or there may be a compatibility issue with the filter and another brand of hand-held shower wand that is not a Sonaki possibly?
Bottom line with these inserts is definitely make sure you have a primary NSF filter in your shower to use with them and also purchase a simple testing kit for chlorine/chloramine levels as well. Conduct a before/after test and that way you will definitely know if your current filter system will benefit from a continued investment in these additional filter inserts or no with your particular chlorine/chloramine issues in your area. Basic testing kits are fairly inexpensive and widely available for purchase online, but if you are having trouble locating one--contact NSF directly for suggestions/recommendations. Happy bathing!

According to the Sonaki website, "the lifetime of the Vitamin C shower filter is about 3-6 months or 10,000 liters of water". From my experience having this showerhead for over 2 years, each filter lasts no more than a month. Now whether the Vitamin C filter works to purify chlorine is another matter. My aunt believes that it works. But I''m upset because a 5 pack is almost $50, meaning $10/month for these filters which I feel is too expensive.Read Best Reviews of Vitamin Shower Refill Filter (5 Pack) Here
I''m not really excited about a business model that puts Vitamin C in a plastic tube at what seems to be an unreasonable price.. I suppose if the price were $20 lower I might be willing to play the game. However, I decided to not play the game. I decided to figure out a way to refill this thing once its empty.. And its actually really easy.. Did you know that 3 lbs of vitamin C crystals costs $38 NOW Foods Vitamin C Crystals, Ascorbic Acid, 1 Pound???So, here''s an easy solution..
First. here''s what you need.
One of these Sonaki filters
A Soldering iron with a pointed tip. (Pointed meaning like a pen or pencil) Sparkfun makes a really good and cheap ($9.95) soldering iron (30 W).
A cork plug from Ace Hardware ($0.23) Looks like a wine cork, but much smaller, diameter smaller than a dime, something that would fit, diameter-wise within dotted circle on bottom of filter..
Once your filter is out of Vitamin C, turn it upside down, and take the soldering iron, and, once its heated up, slowly pierce through the base of the filter. Once you have made a small hole remove the soldering iron away from the plastic for a second and then continue to gently use the soldering iron to widen the hole until the diameter approximates the diameter of the middle of the cork plug. Do your best with the soldering iron to keep the hole you make round. The diameter of the hole I made was inside the dotted circle on bottom of the filter. Next, put your cork plug in the filter to test fit and snugness.. You can even run a test in the shower device with the filter to see how well it retains water within the filter.. Once you''re happy just pour in your own vitamin c and plug the hole and let ''er rip..

Just ordered a set of refills from a separate website.Because I have learned that Amazon is an EXCELLENT resource for product feedback, I decided to review what I could on Sonaki products. Because I do not appear to be the only one who was confused about not having a hole at the bottom of the filter, I decided to ask the supplier to address. His response was as follows:
"The water enters and exits at the top of the filter this allows for a more economical use of the Vitamin C if the water ran straight through the filter a lot of the powder would just wash away with it and provide no benefit."
This was the conclusion I was hoping for, but could not say without confirming. I am happy about that. I am also happy with the entire Sonaki shower system. I have the LOTUS handheld, and have had for 9 months. Will be getting one for my mom as a happy new year gift in a couple of days!I noticed right away that the refills that I ordered did not work the same way as the original that came with the showerhead. The Vitamin C powder never really gets wet with the refills that I got, and I later noticed that there is no hole at the bottom for the water to go through. I read a couple reviews mentioning the same thing, so I''m wondering if this is a common problem? It''s too bad that I only noticed this problem after I''ve used 4 out of 5 filters.

It does hold a lot (full set of queen sheets with 4 pillow cases, a shirt, and pair of pants). It rolls fairly easily front to back but to turn it or angle it requires a fair amount of effort. I need to move it to the sink each time I use it.
It cleans well and sure beats the foul laundry room in our building or going to the laundromat.
It is also quite pricey as portable washers go.

I''d previously purchased a Haier portable washer, but had nothing but trouble and ended up returning it. After reading multiple positive reviews of this GE machine, I forked over the extra money and bought one.The pros:
No leaks!
Quiet
Very solid, good quality, fabulous-looking machine
Large for a portable washer, yet easy to maneuver
Very easy to attach and unattach from the faucet.
For the single-faucet connection, the hoses have an excellent design. The intake hose and the drain hose are connected, and the draining water comes out of the faucet extension. So unlike the Haier, the drain hose isn''t dangling in your sink.
Lint filter inside the machine. No need to buy filters for your drain hose.
One potential con:
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, the water level doesn''t seem to be quite sufficient. I haven''t seen this issue in any other review that I''ve read, so I plan to call GE to inquire. Maybe there''s a technical issue with my machine. The machine has a load-sensing feature, but it also has five water levels ranging from extra small to extra large which supposedly override the load sensor if you manually select them. I''ve only had the washer 2 days and have done four loads, always manually selecting the water level. I''ve run it with the medium as well as extra large water level. Even with the water level set at "extra large," after the machine fills at the beginning of the wash cycle, the water does not completely cover the clothes. The top layer of clothes (or towels, or whatever) is partly sticking up above the water. And I''m not overloading the machine either, not even close. Once the wash cycle begins, the clothes get rotated around, but if I open the door at any point, some of the items are partly sticking out above the water level. This is not what I''m used to. When the machine fills up for the rinse cycle, it fills higher. But, in the end, the clothes don''t smell quite as fresh as when I''ve run them through the community laundry machines, so I''m wondering if it''s the water level during the washing. Will update this after talking to GE.

This machine is kind of pricey, but it is SO easy to hook up and use, I think it''s worth it. It holds a ton--I believe it''s nearly full sized. It''s quiet, doesn''t jump around, and does a great job cleaning. The filter is easy to clean and replace, and the detergent/fabric softener dispenser works really well. This is my second portable washer, and the difference between the first one (a different brand) and this one is night and day. This literally takes 10 seconds to hook up (one you move it to your sink). Takes about 30 second to drain the pressure out, disconnect, and let the water drip out of the hose when you want to put it away. I''m absolutely thrilled with this machine! Don''t let the price keep you from this machine. My condo building has laundry, but it''s three flights and one building over, and I was sick of it! I''m also sick to death of collecting quarters. If you are too, this machine is the one.Want GE 2.7 Cu. Ft. White Portable Top Load Washer Discount?
I''ve had this washer for a bit over 6 months now and it''s been terrific. It''s the only nearly full-size portable machine on the market. Quiet, efficient and the happy little chime at the end of the cycle always makes me laugh. One drawback is that it has no bleach dispenser, so you have to wait for it to fill before adding bleach. With regard to the writer who commented on the fill-level, I noticed the same issue. Two things First, it''s an HE top loader and they generally use less water than a standard machine. Second, if you use it like a true portable and hook it up to a sink, the manufacturer recommends defaulting the water temp to the cold water setting and using the tap to adjust the water temp. I forgot to do that once and left it at the regular hot/cold setting (which you do if you''re hooking it up like a regular washer with hot and cold outlets). Lo and behold, the washer filled nearly to the top at the "extra large" load setting. So now when I''m doing large loads, I leave it that way and nothing bad seems to have occurred. When I''m doing a small load, I do set it as recommended, in order to conserve water. If not for the exhorbitant price you can buy a washer/dryer pair for what this costs and the bleach dispenser issue, it''d be nearly perfect.I used to have to use a laundry room in the basement that was shared be 69 other apartments. Always finding dirt and messes in the washers was a pain. Now I have my own and I don''t have to go anywhere to do the laundry. Love it.
Rival 12 Cup Coffee Maker with Water Level Window & Pause ''n Serve Function
My Mr. Coffee brand coffee maker died after many years of service, and when I went to buy a coffee maker, I saw Mr. Coffee units for $18 and this unit for $10. I went for the cheap Rival coffee maker to save money. Big mistake. If you buy this RIval coffee maker, you will get ten dollars worth of coffee maker. Today, because my Rival unit is broken, I will be spending the extra money to get another Mr. Coffee coffee maker.
Here is what''s wrong with this cheaply made piece of junk:
1. The coffee is not hot enough. Even if I leave the coffee on the burner plate for five minutes after brewing (as another reviewer suggested) it is still FAR below the proper serving temperature. What, are they worried I might spill it in my lap and sue them?? LOL
2. The engineers that designed this carafe have managed to work the most annoying feature into it. All carafes have the "spout" built in for pouring. On this Rival model, the design is such that after I pour the coffee into my cup, I always (and I do mean EVERY TIME) have to wipe off the coffee that dribbles down the side of the carafe. This happens consistently, and not just sometimes. I have never had this happen with any other carafe, and it is strange and most annoying.
3. The carafe is made from the thinnest possible glass they could have used. In fact, the reason I am buying a new coffee maker today is because my Rival carafe broke. I''m amazed at how easily it broke. I was lifting the carafe out of my dish drainer on the counter, and bumped it ever so slightly on the cabinet above (and I do mean it was just a little bump), and the bottom of the carafe broke instantly. My old Mr. Coffee coffee maker is still sitting on the counter, and out of curiosity I compared the thickness of the glass of each unit. The Mr. Coffee carafe is made with glass that is twice as thick as the glass used in this Rival unit. No wonder the Rival carafe broke so easily.
4. I never noticed before that Rival is associated with Wal-Mart. The instruction manual contains the following: "Rival and Rival logo are registered products of Sunbeam Products, Inc. used under license by Wal-Mart stores, Inc. Bentonville, AR 72716." Had this been printed somewhere on the outside of the box, I never would have purchased this unit. I make it a point not to buy stuff that is licensed by other companies to Wal-Mart because, in my opinion, when Wal-Mart is involved in the manufacture of a product, the customer ends up with cheaply made, shoddy product.
Do yourself a favor if you''re looking for a new coffee maker. Spend the extra money and get a better brand. Zero quality goees into Rival coffee makers. I would only buy this coffee maker for someone I hate.Wanting nothing more than a decent cup of coffee and an on/off switch, I eagerly purchased this $9 model at the local WalMart. That was a big mistake--don''t let it be yours. It never produces hot coffee--tepid is more accurate. Other inexpensive coffee makers have easy-to-remove filter baskets (swinging arms or removable tops). Whoever designed this one should be fired--it''s VERY hard to remove and snaps into place--nothing easy about it. Those are two very good reasons this appliance''s next stop is a thrift store donation.
I haven''t given up on cheap coffee makers. The Hamilton Beach 12-cup coffee maker has gotten good Amazon reviews and is under $20. That will be my next purchase--too bad $9 was wasted here.

I bought this because it was cheap ($8 at Walmart) but I do NOT recommend it. It made good coffee, actually, but it only lasted me about 10 days. It still turns on, but nothing happens. So, I barely got one week''s worth of coffee from it...still cheaper than buying coffee each of those days, but don''t buy this if you plan to make coffee frequently!I had it for two months, rinsed it well after every use, even washed the parts in the dishwasher once or twice. One day, I looked into the reservoir and there was this nasty black mildew growing in it. I also discovered mildew growing in the space between the housing and the filter holder. It wasn''t designed to allow any airflow back there, making it a nice dark, warm, damp habitat for this kind of thing. I couldn''t have done it better with a wet loaf of bread, or a terrarium.Want Rival 12 Cup Coffee Maker with Water Level Window & Pause ''n Serve Function Discount?
how the heck does one clean/remove the coffee filter (without breaking it)?? I run CLR through the system on a regular basis but the basket still remains coffee-stained. The good thing about it was it was inexpensive at Walmart.Swift Green Filters SGF-F1 Refrigerator Water Filter Save 50% Off

There are a number of external factors in the success of a filter cartridge-you can''t just compare them on the numbers or assume that this filter work the same in my fridge as it does in yours. You have the the quality of water going into it, the volume of water going through it, the length of time the water sits in plastic and or copper tubing before and after filtering, how long the filter has been in use (as a proportion of it''s total useful life). That last is a big one, because it depends entirely on operating environment. A manufacturer''s recommendation to replace after a specific amount of time (e.g. 6 months) simply MUST be arbitrary and bear no relationship to performance in your specific circumstances. So, reading the comments here I was of two minds but then decided that (a) my own circumstances are pretty much optimal, and (b) the price difference was such that I wasn''t risking much. The filter bore all this out and I will come back and give it the fifth star if it lasts as long as it should.Read Best Reviews of Swift Green Filters SGF-F1 Refrigerator Water Filter Here
We replaced our old refrigerator filter with this product and immediately ''tasted'' the difference. The were very disappointed that the water tasted so bad. Great replacement filters at a great price. Easy to install for fresh, clean water from the refrigerator. Also, the brand is more Eco-friendly than traditional carbon filters, which is a bonus. It fit in perfectly where my old one did and worked just fine. It drips a little at first but so did the other one that cost over $30. As a student, my coffee pot is my life-blood. I adore this little guy. I''ve had it for about a year with no technical problems. I will agree with the other reviewers that the caraffe will dribble if you don''t pour quickly, and it does not stay hot long after the auto shut-off. However, this is rarely a problem for me as I am hardly ever still around 30 minutes later (must be nice!). My coffee is perfect every time, the machine is easy to clean, and it''s compact and fairly stylish. One other warning: it has a feature where you can pour a cup before it is finished brewing (the filter basket blocks the drip if you remove the caraffe), but I would not recommend doing this. When coffee brews, it does not brew at the same strength for the entire brewing cycle. The water that first goes through the coffee grounds encounter more resistance, thus spending more time going through, thus making the beginning of the pot a lot stronger than the the last of it. You really need to let the whole pot (or however many cups you are making) finish brewing before drinking the coffee. This, too, is not something I''ve had much problem with, as the brew cycle is really fast 5 minutes for 2 cups. Anyway, just a little coffee tip.

Everytime I pour a cup of coffee, I think to myself "I need to go write a review!" because of spillage. I can''t seem to pour it in the maker itself or into a cup without spilling water or coffee. It''s a very cute coffee maker and it makes about 2 medium sized coffee mugs of coffee. It keeps the coffee hot and the sneak a cup works fine for me. Never upset about how it tastes or looks...just how it pours. So have a paper towel handy.Want Cuisinart DCC-450 4-Cup Coffeemaker Discount?
Cuisinart did it again! I bought this because I wanted a coffee maker for work that had an auto shutoff. They all make coffee but so few have the shutoff. This unit shuts itself off after 1/2 hour, which is perfect the coffee is not ruined beyond hope by then and the workplace is secure from conflagration. In addition, it makes great coffee of course that is dependent on the coffee and the amount you put in. I like it strong. I was afraid it would spew coffee on the inside as it brewed, which is what the Melitta of almost the same design does, and I was afraid it might leak, which the Mr. Coffee tends to do. I have owned the 4-cupper in those two brands, as well as a couple others. I don''t find the carafe a problem, nor do I find the water reservoir a problem. The aforementioned brands each had their own quirks as well. In fact this one has the best reservoir fill procedure of all that I have owned.I like that it has no glitz. Just make the coffee and in half an hour it shuts down. Perfect.

Before buying this Frigidaire, I''d purchased two portable air conditioners: one 7000BTU Danby and one 9000BTU Sunpentown. Both of those were totally unable to bring a 12x14 bedroom down by more than 3-4 degrees, even after running all night. They blew cold air but for some reason the room never got cooler. One night it was even warmer in the bedroom, with the AC running full blast, than it was outside when we woke up in the morning!I didn''t want a window unit because I work at home and wanted to be able to roll the AC back and forth between the bedroom and my office. In the middle of a major heat wave, I got desperate and installed this Frigidaire 6000BTU in the bedroom so I could get some sleep. I found that it cooled the room to about 72 degrees (100+ and humid outside during a major heat wave) within about 90 minutes. I was so amazed at how much better this works than the other ones that I immediately bought another one for the office. The total cost for these two vastly superior window units was about fifty bucks more than buying one portable.
Installation was a little harder with the Frigidaire window unit because I have vinyl windows and had to cut two wooden shims to anchor the AC so I wouldn''t have to screw it into the vinyl itself (which would void the warranty). This is true with any window unit. But the slightly longer installation time is definitely worth it because the Frigidaire:
is much cheaper
is much quieter
cools the room fairly quickly when the others didn''t cool it at all
is more energy efficient, which means it''s cheaper to run--and as a bonus, the city where I live gives a rebate for EnergyStar appliances
I was a little psyched out about installing this unit with vinyl windows, but there are a bunch of good tutorials out there if you put Google to work, and in the end it was much easier than I thought. Total no-brainer. . . this appliance is fantastic and a great deal.

This unit is 14.7 inches high, not 12.5 as listed. If you have a standard window, that will not be a problem, but it could be a problem for smaller windows (ie., basements, bathrooms). I bought a different unit for that reason, so I can''t comment on this unit, other than the size. If you need a 12.5 inch 6000 BTU unit, Amazon has the Frigidaire FAA064P7A for roughly the same price. I bought that and it went in my window perfectly and I am quite happy with it.Want Frigidaire FRA065AT7 6000-BTU Mini Compact Window Air Conditioner Discount?
The first two days I fell in love with this thing. It cooled off the room within minutes and I couldn''t hear much more than a rush of air as it operated with a slight hum.So, on the third day I''m laying in bed and it sounds almost like the fan is grinding against something or rattling/scratching. I check everything out, all clear. Turn it on, and a few minutes later I hear the same sound. It''s not a constant sound, but sort of pulsating and rather annoying compared to how quiet it was the first couple days. Quiet hum...rattle rattle...quiet hum...rattle scratch...It was definitely not like this initially and I ran it on energy saver for 3 days straight.
The other complaint I have is the packaging. The power cord comes in a long plastic sheath for protection I guess. Well, whoever packed mine at the factory wrapped the cord all the way up into the unit to where it was secured with screws. I had no way to get the plastic off without taking the thing apart, so I ended up cutting it off with scissors and HOPING it doesn''t start a fire. I have no idea if they put the plastic all the way up into the electric contacts or what, but it''s still embedded in the unit. I''d have to somehow take the entire front cover off and take the screws out of the piece of plastic securing the power cord to remove it. Why would someone do this? Was it the same person responsible for building my unit that now has a rattle?
Apparnetly I just got a lemon put together by people who don''t care about their jobs. You''d think quality control would notice something like this, but I guess they don''t care either. I gave it 3 stars because I''m sure there are people at the factory who do a good job and put out good units according to the other reviews. I wouldn''t know personally.
EDIT: I got a replacement unit from Amazon, and the noise is even worse! It started making the scratching/sputtering sounds after the first 1/2 hour or so. My bedroom is completely quiet, and who the heck can sleep with that sort of noise? And this second unit also makes loud ticking. I assume it''s water dripping or something. But every few seconds I ear...TICK...DRIP. At least the first one didn''t do that. And the dripping sound is even louder than the scratching sound.
Maybe if someone has this unit in a room with lots of noise they won''t notice as much. But in this small, quiet room it''s completely unacceptable. I imagine that''s where most people will put these. The plastic bag over the power cord is also all screwed up inside the unit and I can''t remove it, just like the first one. They must have come from the same lot. They were probably on the same pallet. The person assembling them just embedded the plastic bag up inside the unit where the electrical wires attach, which can''t be all that safe. Crazy.
This thing is going back also. I''m never buying another air conditioner by Frigidaire again. I think I''ll try a small Kenmore even if it''s more expensive since the big one in my living room has never given me these kinds of problems. I would delete this review and repost with only one star but I''m not sure if they''d let me put a new one up. Don''t get this scratchy, drippy thing unless it will be used in a noisy room.
EDIT: I recently got the Kenmore 5200 BTU model from Sears (which is pretty much identical to this unit in design with subtle differences; they must have the same manufacturer), and after 3 days I''m not experiencing any annoying sounds. No loud scratching or sputtering. No dripping of any sort. Just a consistent, quiet hum when in the cooling cycle. I''m very happy with this unit. I guess the two Frigidaires I had were duds. The Kenmore is a little more than I paid for the Frigidaire at the time, but it''s definitely worth it. I wish I saved myself the headache and got that to begin with. It gets my room just as cold and I can sleep! Too bad it also has that loud beep when changing settings, but that I can live with. This unit was purchased from Amazon.com as a result of a 10000 btu GE air conditioner that had failed in less than 12 months in our new 10'' x 20'' office and storage building. Due to the late summer time (still 100 degree) temperatures local suppliers did not have compatible replacement units and GE did not have parts available for the failed unit. After considerable research and reading many reviews we selected this unit for both the automatic qualities and the promise of expediant delivery. The new unit came in about 3 days but was damaged apparently by ware house handling. We immediately contacted Amazon customer service (about 5:30 pm our time) and they provided us with instructions for returning the unit. By the next morning we had received email confirmation of the handling process and that a replacement unit had already been shipped!!! The unit arrived a couple of days later. The unit was quickly unpackaged, set up with temporary spacing in the old GE opening and plugged in. The unit was much quieter than the GE unit had been but it is also smaller. While it did take about 5 hours for the unit to initially cool the building and contents (prior 100+ degrees)to about 80 degrees again the unit is 6000 versus 10000, it did so quietly. The noise level is about that of a small vibration free fan set at the slowest speed. We later made the installation semi-permanent since this building is heavily insulated with out windows and this unit sufficiently maintains the temperature down to 70 degrees inside with the outside over 100. Again the unit is very quiet, easy access and cleaning of the filter screen which is in the front, automatic features work very well as listed and expected. One super feature is the automatic cycling of the fan every few minutes to draw room air over the temperature sensor so you get an accurate reading of the room temperature and cycling of the conditioner if necessary. This has resulted in a much more comfortable and consistant temperature control than other units we have had experience with. This result is a reduction in electric consumption and the elimination of 10 degree mis-readings of other units. This unit should be a consideration for anyone looking for a quiet and efficient unit but do make sure that you choose a size listed for your individual application and condition.

Honestly, I would love to recommend this product. I would LOVE for it to work with the screw cap bottles (48 neck), but while close enough to taste the solution I wanted so bad, this product falls short. DANG! In this case, an extra inch could have made all the difference in the world. This is a cap for your water jugs that you don''t have to break to get the water out. It doesn''t get water all over the floor, and it is reusable. I have had one of these for 5+ years now. Very durable. I just bought one for each of my relatives who use water jugs with the dispensers.

We have three 5 gallon water jugs in regular rotation, all with screw on caps. I''m 6''4 and 240 lbs, so I''m able to change them out fairly easily without much spilling. But its a huge pain in the butt for anyone else to change the water jugs without making a mess. We''ve tried a few other things that just didn''t help much. I saw these caps in the past but thought 12 bucks (with shipping) was way too much to spend on a bit of plastic. Well, obviously I finally broke down and bought a couple and they work great. I should have bought them long ago and will definitely recommend them to anyone with the screw on cap water bottles. It is perfect for what it is made for. I love this item because it helped to reduce spills and a wet mess.easy to install and does the job nicely. Perhaps a little leaking as I am putting the bottle in place and it is upside down. But since the bottle is over the water cooler it drips right into the reservoir.Crystal Quest White bath ball Water Filter Save $0.05 Off

I am giving it a 3 stars for overall value and will re-evaluate after the companies attempt to ameloriate the situation. The box contains the only information as to the use and features of the product and makes statements of being the, "most advanced" and "strongest" filter with a list of various chemicals that it removes. There is no data provided as to HOW MUCH these chemicals are removed, HOW they are removed and for HOW LONG they are removed nor is there any study, report or details of any kind supporting these claims.
Side NoteI am finding that most companies do not provide any objective data from reputable tests regarding the actual verified percentages of contents filtered, comparative data, etc. I have seen the quality of the water diminish rapidly after using various filters for shower/bath and other areas of the home. The data that is provided from a few is weak and doesn''t show any length of use testing results as well as other important information as to the quality and features of their products. I find myself enjoying the changes in the water from using these various filters but it is nearly impossible to determine what is actually changed and what might still be in the water that wasn''t filtered without this information.
Would the amazon community please consider demanding this information from these various suppliers/companies? These tests that aren''t being done I believe prevent better informed purchases. My reason for posting this request is from my own frustration as a wellness doctor with many patients that rely on my recommendations and having wasted a lot of time and money...

I purchased this filter for removing chlorine from my daughters bathwater. It worked great for the short time I used it and seemed to remove the chlorine very well. The water was softer and there was no chlorine smell.I wished I could''ve continued to use this product, and I would''ve if it weren''t for the poorly designed faucet attachment. The filter worked fine in the beginning and I didn''t have any issues with it falling off my faucet, however, over time, the plastic strap that attached to the filter kept coming unattached causing the filter to fall off into the water. I kept trying to put it back on, and there was no other way to rig it.
Money down the drain...now I will just use my Aquasana shower filter to fill up the bathtub.

The handle is just a very small plastic strip. My handle broke after less than ten minutes of use. I tried using string, and plastic ties but nothing else worked. This is an obvious design defect and the manufacturer must already know about it. I contacted Amazon and they offered me a full refund. I told Amazon I would prefer that they simply ban this product from being sold on their site. Amazon told me that my only other recourse was to write a product review. I gave this product one star because Amazon does not allow you to give it a product zero stars.I bought this product for my baby''s bath water. I was dissappointed to have spent all that money and then see that this only works if you have a stopper on the top of your faucet like in the picture to hold it on there. Otherwise, it will keep falling off when the bath water is running. So I had to tie a string to the handle to help hold it in place but even then it keeps slipping off when the water is running. So usually I have to hold it while the bath water is running or keep checking to see if it''s slipped off, so that was a big dissappointment. I do not have time to sit there as the bath water runs so I''m working on rigging something else up. The bath water does seem softer though. It also leaves some residue granules by the drain where the water is being filtered. I had intended on buying the shower filter as well but since I''m so dissapointed in this I don''t know if it''s worth spending more money. Hope this review helps. The flow rate on this is amazing we didn''t think we would find a bath filter that could keep up with the flow of our water we were wrong! Our skin seems to have enjoyed the filter also!Pentek 155141, RFC-BB Radial-Flow Granular Activated Carbon Cartridge
