Ok, the soap itself does a great job but use less soap to water ratio than they suggest otherwise it attracts dirt to that spot. If you dilute it more it still does a GREAT job and the spot does not attract dirt.
We tried using a more dilute mixture with this, as one of the reviews on here suggests, and we simply didn''t get the same results. Don''t get me wrong, it wasn''t a huge difference but there was a noticeable difference. We tried multiple weaker dilutions side by side with the recommended dilution and there was a very clear difference. We dont have a problem with the soap attracting dirt as we always do a 100% water rinse after using soap. This was a tip passed down from our professional carpet guy that we bring in a couple times a year to clean our carpet. We have been using him for over 15 years and the man knows almost everything there is to know about carpets. He basically told us that if we were going to use bissell machines that we had to make sure to get all of the soap out of the carpet. This is an issue with the home carpet machines as they dont have anywhere near the suction that the professional machines have. The best way to make sure your getting the soap out is to do a 100% water rinse after using the soap. In fact, he recommended going over it twice with water. If you dont get all the soap up then yes, it will eventually dry and become sticky and this will attract dirt and make your carpet get dirty faster. On top of that, the soap itself can actually damage the carpet fibers when left on for long periods.
I personally recommend using this soap at the recommended dilution, especially if your dealing with a noticeably dirty carpet or a stain. Just make sure you go back over it one or two times with just water to make use your getting all of the soap up. That''s how we do it and we have had nothing but great results. Then again, I would recommend doing the water rinse even if you did decide to dilute this formula a bit more.
Bottom line We consider our Bissell an absolute godsend and have no doubt whatsoever that our carpet would have been toast a LONG time ago if it weren''t for our Bissell. With that being said, this 2x Advanced Formula is the best cleaning formula we have tried yet. Together with a Bissell...well, they create a one two punch that very few stains can stand up too. If you have kids or animals, a Bissell and a bottle of 2x Advanced Cleaning Formula should be considered absolutely mandatory!

Only down side is to be totally safe you need an active carbon filter to remove chlorinines, Package states out of the box it will only "reduce chlorimines" and once installed with one tds goes back up. I run a small boy unit infront of with prefilter to not clog RO membrane so fast, and carbon, than this unit and take 1200 ppm tds to zero.Warning as with all RO units you''ll waste alot of water. You''ll think you have it hooked up backwards becouse the good water output trickles so slow you can fill a cup faster by spitting while the waste water side runs like a regular 1/4" ice maker line at full pressure. You''ll have to have a resevoir and flot valve.
Don''t think this is any diffrent than any other RO system out there though.
For the monney theres no better system than this and a small boy combined with it.

Primo was very quick about shipping. I recieved my cooler in 4 days. The cooler is not heavy; easy to unpack. I was able to unload the cooler and set up quickly without any help. The cooler will fit in to any decor. It really has a nice sleek look. I was surprised to read the review of a noisy cooler. My cooler runs very quietly. Other than when we first started it up, we don''t hear the compressor, no rattles. We have ours set up in the kitchen on a good thick vinyl floor. Perhaps there is enough cushion to keep any vibrations to a minimum. The safety button for the hot water is definitely a plus. Especially if you have small children. The hot water comes out nice & hot; makes a great & quick cup of tea or hot cocoa. I have to admit, I wish the cold water was colder. Using a good pH meter with temp guage, we are getting water temps of 58 60 degrees. Perhaps that is standard but I like my cold water colder. Still its nice to have a head start on a nice cold glass of lemonade. Dispense water, add lemonade mix or squeezed lemons...and throw in a few ice cubes. I didn''t notice right a way, but a day after set up, I discovered my Primo cooler has a defect along the front right side. There is a slight gap where the right side does not line up & hook up with the front panel. The other/left side fits nice and snug to the front panel. I''m sure I could send it back, but I just don''t have the time right now to pack & ship. Besides it works fine and I don''t believe this causes any problems other than cosmetic appearance. Also, I enjoy Primo water and found it can be purchased at our K-mart at about $13 for water in the special primo jug.Bekka

My family bought this item less than two years ago. Was working fine. Cold water sometimes not that great, but no problems in function. Unfortunately, I nearly had a house fire because of this machine. With no indication of a problem, the wires to the hot water tank overheated and burned causing a bright spark and smoke. I quickly unplugged the machine and probably saved my home and family. Had it been 2 hours later, the whole family would have been in bed and this could have burned the house down. There is NO circuit overload protection on this machine. If it overloads, it does NOT shut down. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. I got this at K-mart for a much cheaper price, and I''m thrilled with it. I used to have water delivered for use on a rented cooler, and let me tell you, never again. Customer service was awful, hidden charges, bottle deposits, etc. I''m much happier having my own unit and refilling my own bottles. It ends up being so much cheaper, too. I haven''t had any problems with the unit--no leaks, the hot water is hot enough, and the cold water is *almost* cold enough, which works for me since I can add a couple ice cubes and go my merry way. I flushed it out pretty well when I bought it, and I haven''t had an issue with funky odors or taste. I like the way you have to press down from above to dispense instead of having handles that stick out the front--I have fewer floods from my toddler playing with it because it''s harder for her to manage. The hot water safety button is a great feature. I''ve recommended this to friends. I can''t comment on customer service or repairs since my unit has worked perfectly from day one, and fingers crossed it stays that way!

I have been using this dehumidifier for several weeks. It does what it is supposed to, and is somewhat quieter than the one it replaced, which I appreciate. I also like how the air filter is designed so it is simply pulled out of the side of the unit for cleaning.
I ended up using the thicker hose from HD and a hose clamp to attach it to the nozzle. Since the presence of the hose clamp does not allow the water reservoir to be inserted correctly, I needed to tape the lever (the lever the tells the machine that the reservoir is inserted correctly) with cardboard and duct tape.
I did use the tiny piece of hose pipe that was provided when I inserted it into the garden hose that leads to the shower. Then I inserted the tiny hose into the Home Depot hose, thereby making a leak-free communication of hoses.
In the end, the machine works fine, but you will need to make some significant modifications if you want the condensation to flow out continuously.

I have a semi-submerged basement that gets a little muggy, particularly in the summer, so I purchased this unit not even a year ago to help keep the area comfortable. While the unit ran fine for about 9-10 months, it promptly began to malfunction as it neared the one year mark. Condensation appeared on the right side of the unit and frost began to collect on the coils. I have let it defrost several times, but the ice always reappears, and actually gets so thick that it makes removing the bucket and filters difficult. I ordered this brand because of the Energy Star rating. we always try to do a small bit to conserve energy for our growing world. It is a bit loud as described in other reviews so I wouldn''t recommend for your living area, but we use it in the basement and that is not a problem. I wish that it had a larger capacity tank as we need to change it 2x a day. There is a ''work-around'' in that it has a setup for constant drainage but we have no place to drain into so we will put up with the small tank. At least it has an automatic shut-off should the tank reach capacity. Our old Sears reconditioned dehumidifier lasted 20 years, so we hope that we can get close to that with this one. I would, so far, recommend this brand and model to anyone with the caveats of this review and others. I, too, was skeptical about this product at first. I wanted a toilet product that would not harm toilet tank parts like the toilet tablets do. I also did not want a product that would require the frequent purchase of refills such as the Kaboom NeverScrub or that would be a hassle to maintain, i.e., leaky tubes, parts that could wear out, etc.This product not only is odorless (no chlorine smell or other chemicals), but does not require the use of refills, does not need to be replaced for quite a long time and does not harm toilet tank parts.
But after several months, I am happy to report that my toilets are exceptionally clean with no toilet bowl stains and require minimal maintenance, other than the usual cleaning of the toilet seat and the rim of the toilet bowl. Instead of the weekly scrubbing of the toilet bowl, it''s now once every 3 to 4 weeks and the cleaning has been a light job. I live in a hard water area and did make it a point to use 2 cartridges instead of one for each of the toilets and, yes, it does make a difference. The bottom line: use 2 cartridges if you live in a hard water area. Great product no chemical smell and no refills needed! Highly recommend!
Follow-up: It stopped working after 2 or 3 months.

Amazingly...to me at least, these cartridges are really effective. I found the products claims incredulous to begin with, and even more so after I received the product and read about how the "HydroMineral Magnets (tm)" they contained supposedly worked: "Mineral particles in the water interlace and pass through high density magnetic fields many times preventing the mineral particles from forming hard crystalline material the coat media pads, toilet tank workings and walls".I live in a rural area and with very hard well water which stains all my sinks and toilets, even whites in the laundry. They''ve really made a huge positive difference and improved the situation with my toilets in the last year and a half I''ve been using them. However, they haven''t worked completely, however the instructions say the two units per toilet might be required to handle hard water conditions -exactly what I have -so I''m about to order a more in the hopes that doubling them up totally resolves the staining problem.
For people with ''normal'' water, I would highly recommend them based on my experience so far though.

The product claims sound too good to be true, but if you have a problem with mineral stains on your toilet bowl ChemFree is great! I originally bought this product a little over 5 years ago. Our water is not extremely hard, but it does leave brown stains on the toilet bowl which have to be scrubbed off on a daily basis. Works really well. I went from cleaning the toilets every week to every 4-6 weeks where it may need a quick going over. I had to clean every week before. You do need to follow the instructions and clean it well first, including the water tank for the first time. I think that makes the difference in the success you have. The photos and colored water didn''t impress me much, and I was skeptical about how well a piece of rolled-up paper towel could work as a wick. I followed the instructions (but with plain clear water instead of adding the color) and was pleasantly surprised by how well these work and how nice they look in votive candle holders. The light is a little brighter than a typical votive candle. I am using these in the Wrought Iron 6 Arm Votive Candle Chandelier w/ Pots-Hand Made and they look great and give much more downward light (towards the table under the chandelier) than votive candles. I am using the cheapest store-brand vegetable oil I could find, with wicks rolled from a name-brand (starts with "Boun") paper towel. There is no smoke and only a little odor (like cooking french fries ... and much more mild than candles).Caution: stick to the instructions and use only vegetable oil. I tried using citronella torch oil in one, and it seemed to work fine at first, but then after the oil warmed up enough, the entire surface caught fire. I was experimenting cautiously and had a snuffer (jar large enough to place over the entire votive candle holder) nearby. Without the snuffer, the situation could have been dangerous since the flame was too large to blow out and since the intense heat could have fractured the glass and spilled flaming oil everywhere if I hadn''t put it out right away. Vegetable oil has a much higher flash point and should be perfectly safe. In the votive candle holders, it stays cool enough to comfortably touch (I am guessing around 120 deg F) and is thus well below its flash point (aprx 620 deg F for canola oil).
I did have a bit of trouble getting the wick to work out. Definitely heed the instructions on the length.

First: NEVER USE LAMP OIL WITH THIS PRODUCT -TOO FLAMMABLE! The directions call for vegetable oil and specifically exclude olive oil. I made the mistake of using standard lamp oil and two of the floating candles caught fire within about 30 minutes. I then tried peanut oil, which didn''t light at all, and I''ve given up for the moment. You have to get the wicks at JUST the right height -if they''re too short, they won''t light, and if they''re too tall, you have a high, smokey flame. If you can get the things just right I''m sure they''re fine, but I found them to be too much work.

I replaced an old under sink filtration system faucet with this one. Installation was a fairly easy swap. The instructions on the back of the box were minimal so maybe not the greatest choice for someone who is mechanically challenged. We ordered a water filtration system when we did our kitchen renovations, but were very disappointed that all the filtration systems came with spouts that looked like they came from a dentist office. So we ordered the European Style replacement and found it to be much better quality and design, and well-worth the price. Installation of the unit was very easy handy instructions were clear, and the whole thing took just a few minutes with an adjustable wrench. The unit is very well constructed for the most part; solid, quality steel with a nice finish that very closely matches the style and finish of our faucet. I particularly like the handle for the faucet the action is smooth and, unlike the faucet that came with our water filter, it doesn''t need to be held open, which is handy when filling large water bottles, teapots, etc. The only thing I''m not entirely pleased with is that there is a little bit of play between the spout and the base not very noticeable, but it is possible to wiggle a bit and I wish the fit were tighter. I don''t think this will affect the durability or longevity of the unit, so it''s mostly a cosmetic concern. I also wish it were possible to shorten the height of the spout a bit, but once again, that''s a cosmetic concern. Overall I''m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who has a under-sink water system who wants a stylish faucet to match the rest of their decor.

I have good country well water and did not want to filter it. But I bought my side-by-side Frigidaire refrigerator (Model # BFHS2611LM1) with a built-in ice maker and water dispenser in the front door. It came with one of these filters. Recently the fridge started to leak from just behind where the filter screws in.I initially thought that the leak was a clogged filter (then 8 months old), so I bought one here, THEN discovered that no, it''s a cracked filter-feed line (being fixed on warranty).
Meanwhile, it''s clear that if I bought a filter every year then that''s basically $400 over the 10-year life of the refrigerator -half the price of the refrigerator. And, again, I don''t want my excellent well water filtered.
When I complained of this to the Frigidaire warranty guy, he informed me that I could buy a "bypass filter" from Frigidaire for about $50 delivered. Basically, it''s an empty shell filter that thus never has to be changed.
So, if you''re like me and don''t want your water filtered, then exercise that "bypass" option. I''ve since complained to Frigidaire corporate that they should just furnish the fridge with the bypass filter up front and then let each customer decide to replace with a real filter -or at least clearly inform them of the bypass option. They said they''d consider it.
Otherwise, this filter plugged in just fine and I don''t have any negative feelings about it, other than I don''t want it. So 5-stars for that reason only.

My original lasted about two months, and the fridge never told me I needed to change it. I changed it because my ice maker wasn''t keeping up and our door water flow seemed a bit weaker. Everything was back to normal a couple of days after replacement. But then it too started having the same effects, only sooner. And again, no notice from the fridge nor do I have any indication that the filter is bad. Only that the ice maker is making smaller ice, thus not keeping up with our needs. Love everything about the way this Humidifier works. Very fine mist. Extremely quiet. If I were to change anything about this humidifier, it would have a way to fill the water chamber from the top. It is a little bit of a pain to have to take the tank off, turn it upside down before getting it too far away from the unit so you don''t drip water all over the floor or furniture, find a sink deep enough to be able to fill it to the top, then haul the now heavy reservoir back to the base unit, then flipping it back over the unit to install back on the base. It would be so much easier to have a top fill and just bring the pitcher of water to the unit.
I''ve had ZERO issues with any mildew or bacterial films building up in the chamber(s). It really is clean.
The night light is retro... very different, and just plain KEWL! I rarely use it, though.
Having the warm mist option is nice for winter use.
It''s definitely a work horse, but I still find I don''t need to fill the reservoir nearly as often as other humidifiers.
I live in a very arid, dry, climate, and this machine has been the best! I get nose bleeds when things are too dry, but with this humidifier... nada.

So far I love this new humidifier. No filters to replace which is great. It''s kinda quiet but the blue light on the front when it''s on bothers me. Can''t turn it off. Some people have said that these bottles are a little leaky, and from time to time they are. All that happens is you get one or two drops of water on your shirt, it''s not like squirting out or anything crazy. I wouldn''t call it a disadvantage, and the same thing has happened to me with a Nalgene bottle.The product pretty much does exactly what you''d think. Squeeze it like a bike bottle, and delicious water comes out. (It''s beyond me why they made them just a little smaller than the standard bike bottle size, because I''d buy two more for that application in a heartbeat!) The water tastes great, and I liked having it on the plane with me on my last flight. Airport security let me take it through as long as it was empty, and I just filled it from the water fountain inside. I also like putting several ice cubes inside for instant cold filtered water.
UPDATE: It''s a year later and we still use both bottles all the time. Naturally we replaced the filter cartridges a few times, but the bottles are still really great! If anything, they leak even less now than the tiny bit they leaked at first. Great product!
This is not for taking water out of your local stream.
If you are armed with this information then you know what you are buying...

Picked up the Brita Bottle as soon as I heard it was coming out. So far I love it! Makes it easy for me to get filtered water where ever I go and it''s definitely helping me drink more water. My recommendation is to ditch the bottled water and get one of these. I purchased this bottle 5 months ago because I''m traveling for work every week and I want to drink water while I''m at the airport and during my meetings.The good:
* I have absolutely no problem going through security at the airports with this bottle as long as it''s empty of course. Then it can be re-filled at the water fountain
* Sturdy, it doesn''t get scratched easily
* Thin bottle, it fits pretty much everywhere
* Filters are sold everywhere: at Amazon, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc
The bad:
* Water tastes like plastic: During the first few months I noticed that if I left the water inside of the bottle for more than one hour, it started to taste like plastic. Now the problem is getting worse, the water tastes like plastic as soon as put it in. The filter is new, but somehow it seems that the plastic taste in the water is worse
* The bottle is noisy: right after you drink water from it, it makes some noise, not very good to have it at meetings.
* The transparent cap that covers the top is too small, so it gets lost easily and it can''t be replaced because it isn''t sold anywhere. You have to buy the whole bottle again. My bottle''s cap got thrown by mistake by the cleaning crew at my hotel and I haven''t been able to replace it. It''s not really hygienic to throw the bottle without a cap on the bins through security at the airport and then drink from it...
