Honeywell Replacement Demineralization Cartridge for Honeywell Ultrasonic Humidifier Save 56% Off

Honeywell Replacement Demineralization Cartridge for Honeywell Ultrasonic Humidifier, 2 Pack, DC-102I wish I didn''t have to use these, but the area I live in has the hardest water I''ve ever encountered. Even with a water softener the minerals remain and create a huge amount of white dust without these. Worth it if you live in an area with hard water and don''t want to spend a fortune on bottled water.

Works well! Though I''ve always struggled with how long to keep it in the humidifier for. I change these every 2-3 months

For an aspiring indoor hydroponic vegetable gardener like Your Humble Narrator, a source of clean water is essential. Here in suburban Salt Lake City, we are blessed with some of the dirtiest water in the country. Using this meter: pH-EC-TDS Meter my tap water clocks in with a pH of 8.2-8.4 and TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading of 300-350 ppm (parts per million). This review specifically addresses the suitability of the Watts WP5-50 reverse osmosis system to the task of providing a water supply for the home hydroponic gardener.

I''ve used other filtration devices, like straight carbon filters, and have been disappointed. Yes, they do remove sediment and some contaminants, however the drinking water never genuinely tasted "clean". Moreover, taking the testing meter to this water, and the TDS reading never went below 280 ppm which is unacceptable for hydroponic growing. After doing some research, I concluded that the only option was reverse osmosis.

Package Inspection

Out of the box everything looked okay with the exception of the faucet, which, as other reviewers have noted, is a cheaper version of the displayed product.

Installation

Installation was straightforward. The instructions, while not written by an English professor were sufficient albeit vague in a few critical places. I had the unit installed within two hours.

Waste Water, Output Water Quality and Quantity

My three biggest concerns with this product are output water quality, output water quantity and waste water production. Bear in mind that all of these are dependent upon the quality and pressure of your incoming water supply, which can change from season to season as well as from one time of day to another. Take a certain degree of comfort in knowing that my incoming water is probably worse than yours.

I have not yet connected the waste water tube to the sink''s drain. Rather, the waste water tube is currently draining into an 18-gallon bucket so I can take measurements for the purposes of this review. To leave this setup in this manner is a code violation. I suggest that you connect your unit properly.

The amount of waste water this unit produces is staggering. For each gallon of clean water, I produce an additional 6.5 gallons of waste water. I have come to understand that I will experience a similar ratio regardless of the reverse osmosis unit I use. This phenomenon is a consequence of RO technology in general rather than a peculiarity of this particular unit. As I''ve suggested, the amount of waste water produced is proportional to how contaminated your incoming water supply is.

The output water quality is excellent. TDS (total dissolved solids) are 15-20 ppm, which is ideal for hydroponic growing. Any purer than that brings you into the realm of distilled water, which would need to be supplemented with minerals to be suitable for hydroponic use. Output water quantity is sufficient although disappointing. It produces one gallon in about 90 minutes. Higher water pressure and cleaner incoming water will decrease this time. The storage tank, although it has a physical capacity of three gallons, drains to empty after drawing two gallons. I consider this is a consequence of the technology, not a case of misleading advertising.

Summary

The Watts WP5-50 reverse osmosis water treatment system is well suited to the task of providing contaminant-reduced water for the purposes of hydroponic growing. It produces clean water in sufficient quantity for the purposes of a home hydroponic garden. Insofar as the waste water is concerned, for the time being, I''m leaving the waste tube in that eighteen gallon bucket. I''m using that water for my lawn.

June 20, 2009 Important Update

Several weeks ago, our city''s water changed for the worse. I''m assuming that it''s because of a switchover to summertime procedures where water consumption is considerably heavier. Incoming water is now 800-900 ppm of Total Dissolved Solids. The unit''s output water quality is 80-100 ppm which is still in the "good" range. It now produces roughly twelve gallons of waste water for each gallon of clean water is generates. The lesson here is that water quality can dramatically change from one season to another, as well as from one time of day to another.

I have one of these that is about 10 years old now and it still works great. Of course I change the filters as recommended. We have a well with sulfur and iron in the water but the water out of this unit is perfect. We use the RO water in our coffee maker and we don''t get any scale buildup. I have no problem getting replacement filters as these are standard 10" size. Watts Premier also has a great website and will even remind you when it is time to change the filters.

I just read an article about trace amounts of pharmaceuticals in the water supplies in many states. The article said that normal filtration does not remove the pharmaceuticals, but RO filtration does.

I wasn''t looking to buy a new R/O system but couldn''t find the filters for our old one so instead of wasting more time searching for them I opted for this entirely new Watts unit. There was a very long delay in shipping and I''d felt the order had been lost but before all hope had evaporated the boxes arrived and I got into the swing of installing everything. Give or take an hour or two, for someone as plumbing challenged as I am, everything was up and producing water. Following the manufacturers advice two tanks were run through before we started using the water and I have to say it works wonderfully and tastes absolutely great. It produces more than enough for our family of six for cooking and drinking and is very well built. Very pleased and will order another for my new house.

The only major problem is that the faucet is cheapo chromed plastic. I bought a nice brushed nickle one at Lowes.

Filter price is nice. $40 on amazon for a 7 filter pack good for one year. They are standard filters too so you don''t have to buy Watts replacements. You will have to spend $65 more every 2-5 years for the membrane.

Not too hard to hook up if you don''t have to cut a hole in your sink. Lots of connections to make. Make sure you only use teflon tape where the instructions specify it.

Fast water flow. Tank takes hours to fill. Unless you need more than a bucket full within a few hours you wont run out of fast clean water.

Tank is a little shy of 12" x 16". It fits behind the drain pipes of my sink, but I had to remove the bottem of the cabinet (which was warped and water damaged anyway so due for replacement) to get it past the pipes. Would have fit in front, but didn''t want to loose the space.

Wattspremier web site has a FAQ if you need more info:

RO wastes water, but I used to waste water by running the water for a bit before filling my glass.

Iron is bad for a RO membrane. You can buy a TDS water tester on ebay for about $20 to monitor how well the membrane is doing.

Water pressure should be 40-85 psi. Pump or pressure relief valve may be required otherwise.

You should sanitize an RO system yearly with a little bleach.

I was using a 5-stage Genesis V system from Havapure for years. It was quiet, and produced good water. I just moved and bought this system. It has an "air gap facuet" which means that it hisses when it''s filtering. It sounds like a mini garden hose, and lasts for about 20 minutes for each glass of water. It''s beyond irritating to have in the house. It was professionally installed, but it''s going back to Amazon *tomorrow*. I can''t believe people listen to this after each drink of water. I wish I could give it 0 stars...

Sharp AF-S125RX 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner

Sharp AF-S125RX 12,000 BTU Window Air ConditionerThe cooling ability of this product is very good. Installation was pretty easy. A couple of things that need improvement it is a bit noisy; the front grill (the one that directs air) is "too open" allows dust/litter inside. Also, there is an opening on the top of the air-conditioner''s body (the part that remains on the outside) my old unit only had the openings on the sides and for that reason the inside of the air-conditioner remained cleaner. Also, the openings that are located on the sides are not protected my old air-conditioner had "owning"-like metal protections on each opening on the sides of the unit this also prevented the insides of the air-conditioner from water and street litter.

this air conditioner unit is fantastic, it is cooling our 1100 sq ft home in energy save mode, it makes the entire house cold, it uses 1110 watts, and 10.2Amps we have no reason to keep throwing money at our rooftop central unit, did I say we got it for 249 a great deal.

good product.

Only had the unit for one day. Installation was easy but the window mounting accordion sidings are kind of flimsy. Also there is a design flaw in that the bottom of the unit has a grooved portion protruding right where the unit is suppose to sit in the window. This causes it not to be completely flush with the bottom of the window sill by maybe 1/4 inch at most. But this opening was enough for me to feel air from the outside rushing in and I''m sure its enough to allow bugs and spiders to crawl inside. I''ll probably close it off with some all purpose silicon or something. Beside that the air blows nice and cold and for $249 at Costco its a good price comparatively.

I have the Costco version of this AC. It is cooling a top (4th) floor, ca. 300-350sf apartment in Boston. The apartment faces North and West and gets a lot of sun. This unit evaporates most of its condensate very few drips reach the ground an older 5K BTU unit dripped almost continuously. It kept up fine with the hottest day we''re likely to get in Boston (100F, 55% RH), running continuously during the hottest part of the day at a 68F thermostat setting, translating to 72-74F throughout the apartment, at 40-45% RH. It''s worked great for the two months I''ve had it. Two possible downsides: 1) The filter doesn''t catch everything I have a down comforter that sheds, and I find down in the fins, behind the filter. 2) Unlike many ACs, it doesn''t have a dehumidification mode, which could be useful in Spring/Fall. For $250 it''s a deal, and I would purchase it again.

germguardian AC4825 3-in-1 Air Cleaning System

germguardian AC4825 3-in-1 Air Cleaning System with True Hepa, UV-C Power and Odor Reduction, 22 inchI just purchased this device and put it into service yesterday to combat the terrible mold issue in our old apartment, and also because we have dust and cat dander no matter how often I dust and vacuum. Where there is a mold flare up, my daughter coughs all night long (and ends up getting sick), which happened two nights ago and prompted me to make this purchase. Last night however, there was zero coughing. The air actually smells and feels fresh and we both slept incredibly well. Its very quiet, sleek looking, and Energy Star rated so I don''t have to worry too much about using it 24-7.

The previous review said that it emits a strong plastic odor. That odor is present the minute you take it out of the box, like all new things made of plastic. After running it for about 18 hours, the smell is barely noticeable and I''m sure will continue to fade away. In fact, food odors get trapped in the bedroom every time I cook, but not last night! Its the only room in the house that doesn''t smell like the garlicky beef I made for dinner. :)

My toddler and I both have severe allergies and asthma. To the point that over the past month we have both been having major issues with the pollen and smog in the air, even with being home most of the time! I ordered this one after doing A LOT of research, and I decided this was the best for the money. With a true HEPA filter that you replace once a year (opposed to once a month) it would save money in the long run. I chose this one for the den in our house and over the coming weeks we will be getting smaller ones for the bed rooms.

This review for right now is 24 hours in to having it on in the house, and later I will come back and add to it.

Set up was easy straight out of the box, and I put it out of traffic areas in the house. I was worried with where I put it there would be trouble for good air circulation, but it is doing great! In fact with it on high I noticed a tag on the other side of the room (directly across) was moving on one of the toys yesterday as I was cleaning. Then I cooked fish last night (our den has an open doorway to the kitchen), and I couldnt even smell it cooking!! I decided to test it this morning, and sat on the couch painting my nails. Even using nail polish remover I couldnt smell it!!! (which astounds me b/c I hate doing my nails simple b/c of the toxic fumes!!) As far as noise, its not that bad. On high, with the tv and with kids running around it is a little white noise and thats it. I sleep with the bed room doors open, and having a tower computer on in the den annoyed me, however on medium I couldn''t even hear it in the den! It also moves a lot of air b/c even when the ac isnt blowing air, it feels like it is b/c of this tower! I am super excited at the thought of having better air quality in the house so we dont have as many issues, and I know it will take probably a good month for me to be able to judge that (and trust me I keep up with our flair ups b/c my son sees a specialist so I can tell you if it will make a difference or not). I also liked the UV light, since we have kids over to play all the time it makes perfect sense to have it to.

Also anyone that has lung issues, make sure to avoid any purifier that has the ion part (where you turn it on for a fresh smell) it actually causes lung problems (if you have underlying problems). Oh and check out the reviews on walmart . com for this purifier, it has hundreds of reviews and most are five star (which is one of the reasons I went with this model even though not everyone loved it on here).

Check back in August and I will add an update =)

****************************UPDATE****************************** 12/2/2012

Hi ALL! Sorry took me so long to come back and update =) Fortunately if you see below I did give a heads up three weeks in we still loved it. This unit is holding up well, and really does a good job! Since buying it (I guess going on six months ago now --WOW THAT WENT FAST!!) it helped with our asthma and allergies. Within the first month I stopped waking up with a stuffy nose, and it was taking particles out of the air so I wasn''t seeing as much dust. I still would love to have them in each room, but that is on the back burner. Make sure you have enough for the sq footage of your room. We have since moved to a larger place, that has more sq footage in the den, and also two open doorways leading to other rooms. As such, this unit is doing really well for how much air it has availability to; when I should honestly probably should have one more in here. It isn''t too loud, and I love the uv light. Within the first month of us having it we were exposed to someone (a visitor) that wound up having pneumonia. With the fact we have a higher risk of catching lung illnesses, I was really nervous. I think a big contributor to not catching it is because we had this unit running on high with the uv light. I highly recommend this unit, and I hope it helps! =)

This air purifier does a great job. The air is noticeably cleaner around it, and my problem with allergies have decreased because of it. I also really like the UV settingit makes me happy to know that germs won''t get far in my home. I''ve noticed no smell of plastic, as mentioned in another review. I''ve been using this purifier for 6 months.

Made this purchase recently...first impressions are great.

I''ve had a better known brand name hepa air filter for 2 years and it worked fine, but was much louder, even on the lowest setting.

The Germ Guardian, on the lowest setting is extremely quiet, enough to sleep through without any issues.

The UV-C feature and price is what attracted me to this unit.

To note, when you turn on the UV feature, there is a cool blue light along the top edge (below chrome) that lights up to indicate that its on (UV-C). It may be distracting at night, but I just placed a strip of masking tape to cover.

Regarding the plastic smell that others have noted, I find it faint, and I''m assuming it''ll go away after some use.

For the money, I don''t think you''ll find better. Extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Lime-A-Way - Hard Water Stain Remover Toggle 28 Ounce.

Lime-A-Way - Hard Water Stain Remover Toggle 28 Ounce.(Pack of 9)No announcement about this by the company that I''ve seen. The thick green stuff that has been sold over the decades (and for which I give five stars) is now joined by the clear watery liquid that someone else has commented on, and if you''re expecting to pour the thick green stuff on something you might see an unexpected squirt of clear formula product that can splash and get into places you hadn''t planned on. I have a bottle of each, and I will describe the subtle differences in the packaging. At the top of the label on each is a gold check mark and the word, "Expert", and below that is "Rust Stain Remover" on the green gel product. Below "Expert" on the thin clear liquid product are the words "Hard Water Stain Remover". In addition the green gel product has a picture of thick green gel in the center of the label, along with the words "THICK GEL Formula". The contents of the thick green gel are stated as, "sulfamic acid and ethoxylated tallow amine", while the label on the bottle containing the thin clear liquid states "Contains sulfamic acid". As another reviewer said, Amazon''s photo of the product shows the green gel bottle with the clear, thin liquid "Hard Water Stain Remover" written description.

I was very disappointed with this product, the front of the package on the internet said it was a thick gel, it was more like water, it definitely is not like it used to be, the thick gel needs to come off what is displayed on the internet.

I use this on our therapy pool because the water here in Maryland is pretty rough on the fiberglass. It doesn''t take all of the scale off but makes a considerable difference. Also, this works better than the spray if you just squirt it on the surface and let it sit for awhile before rinsing.

Kalorik Cordless Jug Kettle Save 38% Off

Kalorik Cordless Jug Kettle, White, 57-Oz.We''ve been using this kettle at work just fine. It''s very light weight but has a tall receptacle that holds the kettle well so we''re not concerned about tip over.

It boils incredibly fast & has a nice comfortable handle & easy to use lid release.

Make sure you follow the initial instructions to boil 3x letting cool each time, before the first use to remove any foul taste.

The element is not "protected" so we''d expect scale to build up, but that''s easily cleaned.

Only gripe is that the filter seems to fall out when tipped upside down. Even so, can recommend this kettle as a low cost but perfectly functional kettle.

It does what it is supposed to do at a good price. Bought two; one for my parents and one for me.

I use it at least 2-3 times per day. Much faster than either the electric stove or gas range although I do miss the whistling kettle sound.

The cordless feature and level window were two of the deciding factors besides price.

Initial downsides, it took several boiling cycles to get rid of the plastic smell. It is fine now. Once the boil is done it doesn''t keep the water piping hot for long.

Let''s start with context: I''m British so having a kettle is not optional and I have a lifetime''s experience of kettles!

When we arrived in the US 14 months ago our accommodation didn''t have a kettle and we didn''t know any local shops so we immediately ordered this kettle. Less than 14 months later I have had to buy a new kettle as this one became temperamental about switching on a couple of months ago and finally refused altogether. It had always felt pretty shoddy and light-weight on a par with the kind of cheap kettle I took to college some 25 years ago, (very few like this are sold any more t''other side of the pond bottom end of the market only, costing less than $15 final price.) For between $16 and $20 final price you can easily get much better and more stylish ones over there.

Anyway, back to this kettle. On/off switch is very flimsy and easily comes out of its holding clips. It has an exposed element so it gets "furred up" easily. It''s base is so flimsy that the plastic covering of the connecting point was already bent and distorted when we received it. Boil time is pretty average, (actually pretty slow if you''re used to British kettles.) Scale screen broke within a couple of months when my husband''s finger went through it when he was taking it out to clean it.

I have replaced it with a Hamilton Beach one from a famous discount store for $20. It''s a far better kettle: sturdier, faster boiling, concealed element, metal gauze scale screen which should prevent accidental breakage, it''s the central mount type rather than the jug type which is far more convenient and it''s a lot more stylish (shape and it''s stainless steal and black.) Spend your $20 on the HB one!

I bought this for my latest tour in lovely Afghanistan at home I have a glass and steel beauty, and I was missing it (and the easy availablity of hot beverages).

I followed the advice of other reviewers, and boiled (the same water in my case it is at a premium here!) three + times before drinking from it. That did the job: no taint of leeching plastic.

It is very inexpensive, the base is wide enough to keep it rock solid on my makeshift table (a scrap of 3/8" plywood held up by nylon cord to the rafters of my tent). I hasn''t tipped once in any weather, though trying to seat it on the electrical connector from a seated position next to it is not easy need to be standing to use it properly.

It is well designed doesn''t direct hot steam on your hand while you pour, and the little mesh screen that snaps into place to cover the spout does well at keeping dust and bugs out of the kettle. The handle is comfortable to the touch.

I am enjoying this cheapie champion very much, and for the price: you will too. I even think it looks pretty sharp much better than the 220V ugly, steam-throwing no-automatic-shutoff deathtrap I bought in Iraq last time (just because something is made by a German company does not guarantee it is well-engineered!)

This is a great kettle for the price. I have no complaints.

For about a year now, I have been using a Melitta kettle I got at a department store for $20. It is wonderful and gets used sometimes several times a day. I bought this kettle for my office; I assumed for the same price I could get a kettle of equal value. Instead, this kettle works well barely well enough to keep.

Probably the most disappointing thing is the large exposed coil, which looks very difficult to clean and requires that there be at least 1L in the pot for me to feel safe boiling water. It does shut off correctly after water boils, but it is difficult to see the light that is supposed to indicate that it is on, and the base design makes it somewhat awkward to use.

Homedics Hum-cm50 Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier

Homedics Hum-cm50 Cool Mist Ultrasonic HumidifierI bought this because it was one of the cheaper humidifiers that I saw and was recommended by a friend. You can choose 4 levels of mist and I turned it to the highest right away. It was a bit slow to start, the mist was small on the highest setting but after running it overnight, I woke up to a nice strong mist in the morning. We use it in our bedroom which is a medium size and it does the job perfectly. I''ve been using it for a week now and wake up without dry skin and throat. I love that it oscillates and also the pleasing design. It''s also whisper quiet and you can turn the blue glow and oscillation on or off. Highly recommended.

Good: Output is nice and happens quickly. I keep it set directly in the middle.

Bad: Unit is a bit noisy and I find the motor droning to be more than white noise. Also, when it is set to oscillate there is sometimes a clunking noise as the head rotates.

I bought it and it worked fine for a few months. Then, it stopped working: Mist would not come out, and in addition, it would oscilate even when the device was turned off. I returned it and got a new one. This time, it worked well for only a couple weeks before it stopped working--again, mist would not come out. Now I have to return a second unit.

I will not be making the same mistake a third time and will be purchasing a new brand.

I bought this last winter and it suited my needs. The oscillating was a bit loud for me, but I would just turn it off while I was sleeping. A couple weeks ago I brought it out, used it twice and it stopped working. When I plug it in it just makes a really loud whirring noise and no mist comes out. I wouldn''t recommend this if you''re looking for a lasting product.

Want Homedics Hum-cm50 Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier Discount?

I read the reviews, and I bought 2 of them anyway last year (love the appearance and tank capacity). After last winter, I emptied and stored one unit dry. The other unit I let sit full of water all summer, never used. I thought it would mold, but it didn''t. Last week I tried to get them going again. The one I had emptied will not work at all! The other one works ok, but has developed a strange noise during oscillation. Given the countless bad reviews on this product, I''m surprised these are still for sale!

*** UPDATE: I took the functioning and non-functioning units apart to try to trouble-shoot. In the base, there is a small hole towards the back that has a white central piece that sticks up and a white ring around it that sits in the hole. In the non-functioning unit the lower ring was stuck down, but in the functioning one the ring sort of floats up and down. I gently wiggled the one that was stuck and it popped up. Put it back together and low and behold it works again!! The oscillating top makes that annoying light grinding sound, but the tank size is so much better than other units, so I''m bumping my review up to 3 stars.

JET 709562 FB-1100 Replacement Tall Filter Bag for DC-1100
  • Fits DC-1100 Dust Collectors

This is the same filter bag that comes with the basic DC-1100 dust collector. It only filters down to 30 microns, which will leave your shop (and probably your lungs) with a fine layer of dust. If all you us this with is a planer, jointer, router, or other tools that leave large shavings, this bag is fine. But if you use it with your table saw, band saw, or (heaven forbid) your sander, all particles under 30 micron will end up back in the air (sanding dust is well under 30 microns).

The best bet is to get a cartridge filter for your DC-1100 (or DC-1200). The JET 708639B 1 Micron Canister Filter Kit for DC-1100 looks to be a really good option. It costs a lot more than this bag, but it''s well worth it for the cleaner air it produces. I''m ordering one today and will post a review there once I''ve had a chance to use it.

4 Pack of T01-SS TASTE/ODOR FILTER

4 Pack of T01-SS TASTE/ODOR FILTERI''m writing this fewer than 24 hours after placing an order, as we''ve already received the shipment! This is not a review of the product, per se, as we''ve been using the combination of paper and carbon filters for some years (we have a well and after a couple of months, the paper filter is as black as the carbon one--mostly iron but in any case, you don''t want to drink that!). This is more a simple "WOW" regarding the much-faster-than-promised-or-expected delivery and great prices (we got eight of each filter and the net price including shipping was just under $3 for the paper and $4 for the carbon units). Sure beats trying to find them at various brick-and-mortar establishments and paying quite a bit more... Waterfiltersonline.com (and Amazon) rocks!

We''ve been using these filters for years because without them, our water is at times visibly muddy. They do filter well enough for washing dishes, showering, laundry, etc. ; but I still don''t trust it for drinking water. Also, once the filter is full of debris it must be changed or it starts dumping dirt into your water. Even the strong smell of chlorine lets you know it''s time to change it.

ZeroWater ZR Replacement Filters Save 14% Off

ZeroWater ZR-017 Replacement Filter, 2 PackI was having the problems to a higher extreme than most of you complaining about replacemnet cost. My filters last only about six days, my water meas 781 to 731 depending on the day (I hae no idea why). If you go to the site or read your manual they tell you that if you are using an excessive amount of filters call them to see how they can help. When I did they told me they sold the filters in sets of 16 for $159.99, which break down to about $10 a filter. Which saves you quite a bit. So if you are feeling that the replacement cost is to much call the 1800 number in your manual thats what I did. That cost includes shipping. It''s like buying two and getting a filter free for every two you buy.

Having lugged 5-gallon water bottles for many years, the ZeroWater system has been a Godsend. We use the larger ZeroWater 2-part container on top of the same watercooler that used the large 5-gallon bottles. That water tastes great and is crystal-clear. My only complaint is the cost of the filters. Brookstone sold the 4-pak for $29.99 last year, but it''s up to $52.99 now which is only a bit cheaper than Home Depot''s $60.00 price. If it weren''t for that high cost, I would have rated the water filtration system 5 stars.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! I have been using the ZeroWater filters and pitcher for about a year now and I am VERY pleased with the product! I have an incredibly sensitive stomach and can not drink most tap water, including the water where I live, I have previously tried all the other filter pitcher brands and still could not drink the water. I had resorted to buying bottled spring water and it had to be specific brands or I could not drink it either. Then I heard about the ZeroWater filtration system, what a blessing!!! Now I can drink tap water!!! Not only that, but when I travel I take it with me and have been able to drink water everywhere including places where I could not even drink a single SIP before! Yes, the filters are a bit expensive, but it sure beats the cost of bottled water and definitely beats not being able to drink tap water! For me I find I need to replace the filter once every 4 months, but it varies depending on the water you are filtering and how much you have to filter in a day. All in all it''s well worth the expense.

These filters had to be returned, because when I tested them with the Zero Water tester that I already owned, they each tested well into the twenties. Those familiar with Zero Water will know that they actually instruct you to change your filter when it reads "06". I returned them, and, hopefully, the refund will appear on my next credit card statement.

I then ordered new filters from another online store, and they tested at "000". Did the first filters come out of the factory defective? Were they used?

Advice: If you have the tester, use it when you receive your new filters.

I received ZeroWater Replacement filter 4 pack today. The box was not sealed. I opened the foam case and took a filter out and it was still wet. It had been used. I returned it and reported the incident. Be carefull and open your boxes and check to see if filters are used.

CRL "Sparkle" Cleaner and Stain Remover

CRL ''Sparkle'' Cleaner and Stain Remover - Pack of 3 BottlesThis product was recommended by Pella when I bought my new windows, but I had a hard time finding it other than at the window company. It is a great cleaner and polisher. Worked wonders on my old dresser mirror. I recently was trying it on my car windows and used it on my headlights just to see how it would work. It was way better than kits I paid $10.00 for. Took the oxidation off with a little elbow grease and they looked great. Can''t give this less than a 5.

Undercounter Water Filter - NSA 100S

Undercounter Water Filter - NSA 100SThis product was exactly as advertised with the exception of the type of hook-up offered. The price was super, checked all over and you could not beat the deal Waterboy gives on these quality filters.....delivery on time and without problems.....in the future I would not order the quick disconnect, my plumber does not like them and says if the connection is moved much they will leak.....hopefully these will not. Otherwise I will definitely do business with Waterboy again!!

Not enough room on here to tell you all the crap I went through on this order but just take my word for it, what if pictured is the new filter, what is shipped is no longer being manufactured. Move on to another seller.
