I recently purchased this cartridge along with an adapter to replace an old metal FXRC cartridge in a used fridge I just bought. It fit perfectly (with the adapter in place on the top), and after running through a quart or so of water to clean it up I''ve been using it for a month or so now with no issues. The water tastes very good, as does the ice. I live in the AZ desert so it gets a lot of use. Good product, does what it says...
