While this filter is expensive, I can tell from using it so far that it will last the 6 months mentioned by the manufacturer. Also, the filter is large and well made with 2 lbs. of activated carbon, which is much more than many other filters I looked at. I tried the regular filter first and found that this one definitely provides extra ''oomph'' and a better quality of air that I prefer.Save 17% Off
