What can I say this filter does the job. It reduces the stains and discoloration from iron and manganese. There are cheaper filters out there, but they aren''t anywhere near as effective nor do they have the capacity (in gallons) that this one does. Good filter; does a good job.

If this is in fact what I need then it is great. But, it came with no instructions. So, I don''t know for sure that it is what I needed, or that I installed it properly. (Though, it is more or less self explanatory.)
