I rate it as clearly superior to both the Watts "standard faucet" (which leaked after some years) or the plastic one that came with the Culligan kit (Culligan US-EZ-4 EZ-Change Level 4 Under-Sink Drinking Water System). A faucet is a permanent fixture that you''ll use every day so it''s worth spending the extra bucks to get a superior product.

This is the third faucet we have had for our under the sink water filter. The first Culligan one was cheap plastic crap that did not last long. The second was better, a lever device, but after about a year began leaking, with no way to repair it. This one is a REAL faucet, with an adjustable flow handle that looks and works great. Another thing I like is the fact that the faucet has a higher arc than the others, making filling jugs and pots easier. Plus, if and when it develops a leak, the handle comes off like a normal facet for repairs. In addition, it was easy to install and all parts were included for both a copper line and plastic line install.

It would be hard to beat this faucet for the price. If it had a brand name on it you would pay $100 for it. Heavy solid brass with good chrome plating, easy to drill a 5/8 hole in the sink. Fits 1/4" plastic tubing with the fitting included. Works great the handle has a short 1/4 turn so you need to get used to it. I feel like I got my moneys worth for once!

This is a beautiful faucet, sturdy with excellent flow and easy to use knob. I installed an NSA filter to it using a dishwasher installation kit from Home Depot. Had to tinker with a few fittings to get from the 3/8 compression outlet of the filter to the 1/4 compression fitting of the faucet but it was still an easy install. It looks great and so far works great!
