The specs on this filter are quite good. The cost is a bit excessive especially if you own a Kenmore branded Whirlpool refrigerator and buy your filters from Sears. Also note that the replacement alarm on your refrigerator is based on a timer for typical family conditions. If you are just a family of two, reset the alarm and replace the filter when the alarm comes on a second time or possibly a third time if useage is light.

This product is ok. The price/quantity is misleading on Amazon''s webpage. It is quoted as a price for a pair of filters, but when shipped from the vendor, only single quantity was shipped, hence I paid twice the price for each unit. I did get a satisfactory response from the vendor, but this has happened twice to me. This makes me not want to order from Amazon in the future.
