Well, if you have a humidifier that requires this size filter, then you have no other options really. These filters can last for about 5 months if you have extremely low mineral content water. In Tucson, AZ where the water is very hard we only get about 2.5 months out of one of these.

I saw they think you get them cheaper from lasko. from what I see you get 2 filters here but only 1 from lasko itself. 5 for 2 is cheaper than $4 for 1. but in any case. seem to hold up well. good product and shipped fairly quickly

The Lasko humiders were return because of a severs leaking problem. Iam know stuck with a filter that I have no use for. I will try very hard not to purchase any items with outside vendors
