Have had this installed now for 8 plus years and still works well, in Chicago. Just have to be diligent about changing the filters and it depends on the type of water you are filtering. Some people don''t take that into consideration. When you first install the unit, check your filter after a year and look at the build up. Determine your situation and proceed accordingly.
