This is the only water filter I use. The water filter is the only one in this line that filters out lead (Pb) from the water. Given that most plumbing in this country is still from a time when lead was used as a bonding agent for pipes... Lead can be in your water supply in small amounts even if your house is brand new... why take chances... the additional cost for the extra protection is well worth it.
