Ragalta RWC-100 White Countertop Thermo Electric Water Cooler Save 18% Off

Ragalta RWC-100 White Countertop Thermo Electric Water Cooler with Cold and Room TemperatureWhen I received the product, it was broken. I hooked it up anyways as it was only the bottom plastic and still held water. Once it was running for a while, the water never got cold. I would recommend a free standing unit over this one.

The item arrived broken. The Base of the unit is made of thin plastic. The Compressor broke off and was rattling around inside when it arrived. Not going to chance having another one shipped.

Premium 10-Stage Water Filter

Premium 10-Stage Water FilterOur water definitely tastes better and it is cheaper than buying water at the local filtering source. I was disappointed that the water does not taste really good. I like that it is free of chemicals and minerals. I wish it tasted better

at first the water tasted a little "off" but after about two weeks the water tastes great. installation was super easy and all parts appear to be durable and well made. not really related to the product but I used some light duty zip ties to secure the hose to the faucet arm to keep it up and out of the way.

The filter is great in that it does an obvious job of making my tap water even more palitable. I can even tell the difference between the local eateries that either do not use or use ineffective filtering systems and those who are more careful with their water filters. [The thing seriously improves the taste of my iced tea which is important and much more noticable if you drink it unsweetened.] My DOG even knows the difference -he refuses to drink the unfiltered water at this point! The life of the filter and ease of use has me using filtered water in all my cooking and even some in cleaning fresh vegetables. I''d love to have a version I could put on my bathroom sink so I could use it to brush my teeth and wash my face -sadly space is an obstacle. This filter is a great improvement over my last filter because it will filter hot water -my last filter had a warning that hot and even warm water would ruin the filter. Since I can filter hot water, it''s easier to use some convience foods without the extra step of heating the water so it saves on energy costs.

The pin that makes the water go through the filter can be a little tricky. It sticks at times and will stay in place so I''ll get filtered water that is unplanned but I generally just use it unless I''m washing dishes. The problem is really due to the fact that the water pressure in my house is inconsistent, so I can''t really fault the filter, but it is a flaw which is why I rated the product as ''liked it'' insted of ''loved it''.

this is awesome product. Exceedingly easy to install. Works like a dream. Water tastes fantastic. I can''t say enough good about this product. I live in an apartment and it is compact and out of the way.

Can I use hot water with my 10 Stage Water Filter?

The 10 Stage Water Filter is for use with cold water only. The reason for this is that the filter contains 2 stages of carbon filtration and carbon deteriorates with exposure to hot water. If you run hot water through the 10 Stage Water Filter, it will dramatically shorten the life of the filter and may even, if enough hot water passes though, destroy the 10 Stage''s filtering ability. However, please do not worry if hot water passes inadvertently through the filter for only a brief period. A second or two of exposure will not cause any damage.

The statement above can be found on the New Wave Enviro Website FAQ''s.

This filter is excellent and gives my ice tea a very smooth, non-bitter taste. If it filters half as much as its specs, it is still very potent. I requested the lab tests and according to the certified testing lab the 1500 gallon capacity is completely true. I buy this filter with confidence.

Aqua Vessel Insulated Filter Water Bottle / Filtration Bottle

Aqua Vessel Insulated Filtered Water Bottle / Filtration Bottle with 100 Gallon Filter - Double Wall thermosI searched and searched for the best value in a filtered water bottle and was not disappointed by this product.

Reason 1: Any water I put into it comes out tasting great (even icky "soda machine water" from restaurants).

Reason 2: After 4 hours in a car that was at least 110F, the water in this bottle was still COLD!! All the other water bottles in the car were so hot we could barely touch them, let alone drink the water!

Reason 3: It''s stainless steel, yet has a comfortable drinking spout (no metallic taste), AND a nice carrying handle, and even a very sleek ergonomic shape.

Reason 4: It comes in 4 (or more?) decent colors, so everyone in my family could have their own and not get them mixed up. Why didn''t CamelBak think of that??

Reason 5: It fits in the holder in my car--unlike other water bottles.

Reason 6: It doesn''t sweat (no condensation on the outside of the bottle), so when my kids put theirs on the wood tables, I don''t have to freak out!

Now, if I could only be paid to say that this is the most PERFECT water bottle on earth, I would then buy one for everyone person I know!!

P.S. The only drawback is that you have to fill it up often--but that''s because the water is so good, you drink more of it, and that''s the whole idea, right? Besides, what water bottle doesn''t go dry?? (The lame ones that aren''t filtered and get too hot when you leave them out. Enough said.)

The product works just as described. I consider myself a huge water snob, and by that I mean I do not prefer to drink water from the tap and usually only drink water bottles. The aqua vessel makes tap water taste just like bottled water if not better. I usually place 2 to 3 ice cubes inside as well, and the water stays cold for several hours.

PROS:

Keeps water cold

Makes water taste great

Water is easily drinkable though many claim it is difficult

Bottle is aesthetically appealing

Filters 100 Gallons

Does not sweat

Fits in my 2010 Camry cup holders

CONS:

Due to the filter being so large the bottle only holds approximately 15oz instead of the labeled 17oz, which I guess is not a huge problem.

The weight and size of the bottle is excessive considering the amount of water it holds (17oz model in my case)

BOTTOM LINE:

This bottle is definitely the best of its kind. I was considering buying the Camelbak filtered water bottle, but it apparently accumulates mold, and does not filter out bacteria like the Aqua Vessel. Also the filters for the Camelbak must be purchased more frequently with comparison to the Aqua Vessel

I''m an avid backpacker and water purifying is a constant struggle. I first learned about these from another hiker at a Hut on the AT. He was showing it off and I really liked the concept. You can drink water from the backcountry without having to boil it, carry an external filter, or use tablets that''s taste awful (I prefer weeks of dysentery too the taste of some of those tablets)!

I have used this several times over the last few weeks and I like it a lot. It''s convenient, easy, and the water tastes fresh. I always try to give it the cleanest water source possible to not clog the filter. (I always get water from rivers, not lakes, face the bottle away from the current and generally use a shirt to filter for floaters).

My only complaint is, it''s surprisingly heavy. Every extra ounce is a big deal to backpackers and this bottle / filter is heavier than I''m use to. Despite the weight I''m giving it 5 stars because it performs as designed; the water taste great and comes through clear, It''s very durable, it seals tightly and it includes a straw for using it with pure water. I love this since my first fill up is always from a clean water source.

I really loved the specs and the glowing reviews and ordered the 25 oz one. I bought this bottle specifically for car use but alas it won''t fit in any of the 3 standard cup holders in my 2007 MINI Cooper. The base of this bottle is almost 50% bigger than what fits in my car.

For those wondering the exact diameter, it is 3 1/4 inches. I wish this size info was available on Amazon!

Unfortunately, now I have to return it--at my expense. I hope that they will make narrower ones in the near future. I know I could leave the bottle on another seat or somewhere else in the car but that is really not an option for me.

Want Aqua Vessel Insulated Filter Water Bottle / Filtration Bottle Discount?

A recently got this water bottle as a gift. I like the larger 25 oz. size because I''m not constantly having to refill it. The insulated feature keeps my cold water nice and cold. And, this filter is way cool! When I saw the price they sell it for, I thought it was pretty inexpensive since I''d pay a lot more for all of these features. I''m going to supercharge mine and add an alkaline water stick to make the water filtered and high pH. Thanks for creating such a cool water bottle, Eco Vessel!

Culligan D40 Level-4 Drinking Water Replacement Cartridge Save 32% Off

Culligan D40 Level-4 Drinking Water Replacement Cartridge
  • Level 4 Filtration
  • For use with Culligan models US-600, US-640, SY-2000 and SY-5167
  • Recommended for use with city and well water supplies
  • 600-Gallon capacity or 6 months
  • NSF Certified

If you have slow water flow before adding a Culligan under-sink filter, and don''t need lead reduction, I''d recommend the D-30, which lasts 2-3 times longer, and has great flow. For the price of the D-40 you can almost buy 2 D-30''s so you basically get about 4-6 times as much clean water for the price.

But if you''ve tested your water and it contains lead, I''d recommend this filter, because it is still great. It''s just not as great for someone on a lower budget, who doesn''t like to wait extra time for fresh water, like me.

Buy Culligan D40 Level-4 Drinking Water Replacement Cartridge Now

I bought this with the "new" improved Culligan US-600A 3/8-Inch Undersink Drinking Water Filter from Amazon because I wanted better filtration. The 600 A comes with the Culligan D-20A filter which fits perfectly with no leaks. When I installed the D-40 filter it leaked a lot and no amount of tightening could solve it. I also tried exchanging the rubber washers at the top to no avail. The D-40 and D-20 filters look to be the same size, but the D-20 has slight indentations on the bottom that allow the filter to seat properly inside the holder. It looks like the Culligan D-40 Carbon Block Filter for $31.87 could have been the correct filter, as opposed to this $27.19 filter. I don''t know. I do know that I''m out about $30 and still don''t have the correct filter. YUK.

The filter is great, and the convenience of the system is fantastic for under-sink installation. I''m on an old water line with limited pressure, and the filter cuts my flow rate by 1/2. It''s not a design flaw, but it is a consideration for purchase.

One of the best, most practical purchases we''ve made. I was looking for a water system to use both at home and on travel, camping, etc. I actually keep our Berkey next to the sink and use it to filter drinking tap water, for bottles and even for the cat! The Berkey works very well, water tastes pure and it''s easy to clean and maintain. Customer Service has been fantastic. I misplaced a part and seller immediately shipped a new one. Had questions, and they were answered thoroughly.

ISPRING Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Automatic Shut-Off Valve Jaco-fitting ASV #AAS1 Save 60% Off

ISPRING Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Automatic Shut-Off Valve Jaco-fitting ASV #AAS1
  • iSpring® Automatic Shut-off Valve (ASV) - Jaco Fitting
  • Compatible with most Reverse Osmosis systems (including brand names) in the market:
  • Allows your system to turn off the water supply when the tank pressure reaches approximately 65% of the supply water pressure;
  • 1/4" fittings
  • Nuts not included

Looking at the photo, one would deduce that there are three (3) ports on this valve. Three would work fine. But what I received was a 4 port device. The difference is that if you don''t have a blocking plug for the 4th port, you have a problem. However since for me this was a replacement, I had the blocking plug and it worked fine on my system.

Delivery was perfect and on time, so this would be a five star except for that small detail.

By the way, it came with two jaco fittings which was unexpected and welcome.

Reliable EnviroMate VIVA E40 Continuous Fill Vapor Steam Cleaner Save 23% Off

Reliable EnviroMate VIVA E40 Continuous Fill Vapor Steam CleanerI live in a house with 2500 square feet of tile. After years of watching my white grout slowly fade to shades of gray, it was time to invest in something more effective and industrial than my mop and bucket. It''s easy to clean tiles, but so far nothing was effective against my dirty grout. I had a carpet cleaning company quote me 50 cents a square foot to clean all the tiles/grout in the house. The Viva E40 checks in at $900 shipped, a discount over my $1250 cleaning quote. Buying a steamer was an easy choice.

I debated over several different steam cleaning machines. The choice to select a Reliable Enviromate product was the result of a phone call I made to their headquarters. Confused about which of their four core steamers to buy, I placed a call to ask about the differences. They were so helpful and informative that I felt comfortable with them as a company. Definitely someone who I''d like to do business with. The Viva E40 was the most expensive of the four I reviewed, but the commercial grade components, 5 year warranty, and continuous steam technology (never have to truly stop when cleaning to wait for a boiler to cool down) made the difference.

Out of the box, it took 10 minutes of instruction reading to get started. Everything hooked up easily and I was off and running. My first test was using the wand wrapped in a cleaning towel on the tile floors. With little effort, the steamer broke through sticky, dirty spots to leave a gleaming, clean floor. Did I mention you only need water, no chemicals? Next up was the grout. After a few minutes I realized it made sense to clean the grout first. I attached the nylon brush to the steamer tip and dug in. Holy crap, the dirt and grime started beading away from the grout. Charcoal colored grout suddenly transformed to the chalky white I remember from years ago. In fact, so much dirt and grime pooled to either side that I was constantly following the steamer with a rag to wipe up the nastiness (lest it reset in the grout). I then finished the floor with the steam wand.

I switched the from the nylon brush tip to the brass tip that came with the steamer. This was even more effective. With a little pressure application, I was ripping through the dirty grout twice as fast as before. Sadly, after several hours of this, the brass tip wore down to a nub and was useless. I then switches to the steel brush tip. This was as effective as the brass, but seemed to strip away the enamel from the tile. Based on that experience, I''d recommend using the brass tip on grout for best results.

Anxious to clean more, I am stuck waiting on an order of brass tips from Reliable Corp. And they''re not cheap. I ordered four more tips at $10 each, plus $21 shipping (they''re in Canada). Also, the cleaner comes with only two towels for the steam wand. Extra towels are $4 each from Reliable, which I think is silly. I ordered a pack of commercial bar towels from Amazon and hope that''ll do the trick (25 pack for $27). You''ll want to change these regularly.

It took me six hours to clean about 800 square feet of tile, and it wore me out. Keep in mind I''m catching up on years worth of dirt and grime. It''s going to take me another 12 hours of cleaning to get the rest of the house, but with results like this I don''t mind. I have no regrets thus far about purchasing this steamer.

VIVA E40

Pro: Looks nice. Good steam for a couple of hours. Nice attachments.

Con: Died after a couple of hours of light use. Machine would just keep alarming for empty water tank even though it was full. I had to turn it on and off about 5 times when first used to get the tank pump to prime. The pump would run for a few seconds then give up. The only way to get it to pump again was to cycle the power. Unfortunately this stopped working after the second refill.

Cheap labeling on the sides started to peel off almost immediately.

I contacted the manufacture who offered no help.

Returned for refund.

I replaced this with a Daimer steamer. All steel with retro look. Smaller than the VIVA and works very well.

I still love Amazon just not this steamer.

This machine stopped working after approximately five months. It started to beep continuously to signal that it was "out of water." However, the water container was full! I was told by the online retailer in Roswell, Georgia that I would have to contact the manufacturer, Reliable, in Toronto, Canada. They Reliable Tech Support person was unable to fix the problem over the phone, and I was given a RMA number to send the steam cleaner at MY EXPENSE of $89.95 to the Reliable Repair Center in Toronto, Canada.

After approximately three weeks, I emailed Reliable in Toronto, Canada to inquire if they had received the steam cleaner. They replied that they had, and that the steam cleaner was in the mail back to me. Upon receiving the SUPPOSEDLY repaired STEAM CLEANER, I loaded it with water and turned the steam cleaner on IT STILL HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT WAS NOT REPAIRED. I immediately contacted Reliable, and they emailed that I had to speak via a telephone call with same Tech Support person that previously could NOT fix the steam cleaner.

I also emailed the online retailer in Roswell, Georgia retailer regarding the steam cleaner''s demise, and they replied back that "Unfortunately, your request falls outside of the 30-day window. All warranty service for original customers is provided by the manufacturer of the product purchased. Our records indicate that you purchased on 4/30/2012." I thought that was "rich" as even though I did purchase the steam cleaner on 4/30/2012, I did not receive it until mid May 2012. By then half the 30 day warranty was used up.

With sales tax, I paid over $1,000 dollars, and I would like my money refunded. Reliable will NOT pay, and the online retailer has indicated that they are no longer responsible. Hence, I am out over $1,000 dollars.

Then to add further insult, my cleaning person indicated that she likes the Shark Steam Cleaner better. May I add that the Shark Steam Cleaner was considerably less expensive to purchase. The Reliable steam cleaner was only used every other week so you might say it has a short working life span.

Reliable is located in Toronto, Canada sending it to Toronto to be repaired is very expensive. If they would have repaired it, I would not be writing this email.

NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE RELIABLE E40 STEAM CLEANER!!

Cuisinart Single-Serve Brewer with Keurig K-Cup System

Cuisinart Single-Serve Brewer with Keurig K-Cup System, 12 K-Cup Starter Pack and 9 Charcoal Water Filters - SilverI read a number of these reviews. The horror stories about these machines working and then ceasing to work were more than enough for me to steer clear. When the office I work at bought one of these machines, I figured that this would be my chance to find out just how well this machine worked without having any personal finances in play. Let''s face it, these machines are an investment. This machine was so much fun to use, just about everyone in the office jumped on board and bought some version of the K-Cup system. I was more interested in this particular model. So, I watched and waited.

Pretty soon, just like other users, the office Cuisinart ran into problems. A K-Cup would be put in the machine, the Brew button would be pressed, the machine would make sounds as if it was trying to brew, some liquid may start dripping into the cup below, but then nothing. This same problem happened to one of the co-workers who had bought this Cuisinart model for their home. The manual was referred to, troubleshooting ensued, tinkering occurred, but nothing seemed to work. One of the home Cuisinarts ended up going back to the store to be exchanged. An inquisitive co-worker at the office, however, took a straightened paper clip and started poking around. After a number of "pokes" with the paper clip in the part of the machine that is sharp and hollow that pokes into the K-Cup, the office Cuisinart was back in working order. The co-worker who had replaced their machine at home, again, ran into the same problem. The Cuisinart stopped working. Using a paper clip to clear the same part, the home machine was returned to working order.

*** I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU LOOK AT THE K-CUPS THEMSELVES ***

While this may not apply to everyone who is running into problems with this Cuisinart model, this may help some of you, thanks to that same paper clip wielding co-worker. And if anything, it may help if you end up purchasing this machine by avoiding one of the problems that may be plaguing others. In my case, the K-Cups come from a lower elevation than where I reside, so there is a LOT of pressure in the K-Cups. Prior to putting the K-Cup in the machine, we poke the cover of the K-Cup. I favor right in the middle where the Cuisinart machine will eventually poke the K-Cup to reduce the chance of grounds escaping through another hole under forced pressure and mucking up your expensive machine. Make sure to gently press the lid/foil of the K-Cup down to force out the excessive air. Then you use the machine just as you regularly would. Since coming across this realization and releasing the pressure in the K-Cups, the office Cuisinart machine and the various co-workers with their home Cuisinart machines have reported no more issues. Including myself. I bought one of these machines after running this field test of almost five months. I figure if I try and keep any K-Cups contents from being forced into the machine through the entry needle (the sharp hollow point) in the first place, hopefully, I won''t have clogging problems down the line. This may also keep random grounds from ending up in your cup. I''m not sure about the inner workings of this particular machine, so who knows how far interloping K-Cup contents can travel in this machine and what problems they or eventual build-up can actually lead to, but at least for me...so far, so good!

I''m not a coffee drinker at all. But this machine comes in very handy for all the coffee drinkers who visit. I don''t have to try to figure out how much to brew, remember who likes what, wait for the coffee to finish, or be stuck with a leftover pot of coffee. You select the size. There is a huge variety of flavors. It is quick. But, it is not cheap. That would be the detractor so far for the K-Cup system as a whole. Also, if you are a Hot Chocolate fan, you probably do not want to add more than 8 ounces of water. I would suspect that Hot Cider is the same. I''m not sure if this is a fad and will eventually go the way of the 8-Track tape, but at least for me...it works and works well for just what I need.

Update: The first Cuisinart (purchased for the office) has been in-use five days a week, multiple times during the day, and going strong since December 2010. It hasn''t been descaled (but probably should be) during that period, but it has been getting both regular and filtered water, so that may be pretty helpful. My personal Cuisinart (which I purchased five months after the office one) is also doing quite well. It doesn''t get used as much, but again...*knock on wood*...no problems. I really do believe if you avoid clogging your machine from the start, you have much better luck in the long run.

I have had this machine for 2 years now and it is one problem after another. Just about everyone I know that has one has constant trouble as well. So, we trade solutions so we don''t have to buy another machine since this one is not cheap. I would never buy this model again. Save yourself the stress and look at another machine, so tired of trying to fix it so I can get a cup of coffee. I also have the Tassimo by Bosch, coffee is way better and I have never had a problem with it. The only draw back to the Tassimo is they do not have much of a selection of coffees to choose from.

Buy Cuisinart Single-Serve Brewer with Keurig K-Cup System Now

I have gone through 4 of these and they quit working. I paid more and thought the Cuisinart brand would last longer. Don''t waste your money. I never write reviews but I had to on this one. It was a total waste of money for me, I''m going to throw it in the trash and buy another brand.

Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Pot 1000ml MCPN-14B Save 34% Off

Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Pot 1000ml MCPN-14BThe cold brew method will make the best coffee you''ve ever had. And this pot is just the ticket!

Rather than quickly rushing hot water through the grounds, the cold brew method lets the grounds slowly steep in cold water. This results in a smoother, less bitter extraction of coffee. It also results in concentrated coffee.

Ok, this pot itself:

Glass and hard plastic. The actual pot is glass while the handle, top, and filter are hard, durable plastic. This is NOT some cheap & flimsy pot. You won''t wind up with plasticky tasting coffee. HOWEVER: be careful with the pot! It''s glass. Don''t go bumping it up against marble or granite!

The filter is a SUPER fine mesh. It looks like it''s solid, but it''s not. Totally reusable and easily washable.

Now, as other reviewers have noted, the instructions are in Japanese... but they helpfully include pictograms that should spell things out. If not, here''s a rundown:

Handling:

Caution. This is a glass coffee pot. Do not bump. Do not subject to direct flame or heat. Do not subject to extreme temperatures. Do use metal utensils with this pot. Do not use if pot becomes cracked or damaged.

Do not poke or puncture the filter or filter assembly.

Cleaning:

Hand wash only. Use only soft sponges and cool soapy water. Use mild liquid detergent only. Use no abrasive materials nor scrub pads. NOT dishwasher safe.

Before first use:

Hand wash the pot and all components in cool soapy water. Rinse well and allow to air dry.

Making your coffee:

Before starting: Use coarse or "French Press" ground coffee in your Hario Cold Brew system.

Pro Tip: Use your favorite coffee. You''ll be surprised at how much better it tastes!

1. Fill your Hario glass pot to the 800 ml line with quality cool water. Remember: coffee is 99% water. Using icky-tasting water will result in icky-tasting coffee.

2. Fill the filter assembly with ground coffee just until the filter mesh is totally covered. (directions say 80ml, but meh)

3. Place the filter assembly into the glass pot.

4. Pour additional water through the grounds until the glass pot is completely full and grounds are wet.

Optional: give the grounds a stir with a plastic straw or chopstick. (I never bother)

5. Place the pot cover onto the pot. It will click into place.

6. Let the pot rest! You can keep it on your kitchen counter for up to 12 hours. If you''d like a stronger steep, place the pot in the fridge and allow to chill for up to 24 hours. (I go 12 hours on the counter. No more than 75 degrees F, though. So, hot nights, put it in the fridge)

7. Remove the filter and enjoy your coffee concentrate!

For hot coffee, I mix 1 part coffee concentrate to 1 part boiling water.

For iced coffee, I fill a glass with ice and mix in 2 parts coffee concentrate to 1 part milk.

I recommend storing your cold brew in a resealable glass container in the refrigerator. I use an old french milk bottle with a rubber seal. Your cold brew will store in the fridge for up to a week... but it won''t last that long. Trust me.

Yes, this brew method uses more coffee than traditional drip, but: you''re getting concentrate (so it goes further than you''d think) and you''re gaining far superior taste.

I have no use for my automatic drip nor French Press coffee makers any more. If I want piping hot coffee, I place the concentrate and water into an old Pyrex stovetop coffee pot and heat until nearly boiling.

If you''re going to go cold brew, buy the right pot and don''t give in to the hype. (No special coffee needed. Just coarse grind!)

I could not be happier with my Hario!

I have been wanting a cold coffee concentrate maker for some years now. But every time I looked at the Toddy, well, it just seemed over priced and rinky dink.

This gizmo is sleek.

Made my first batch last night. Added hot water to my concentrate this morning. While I hadn''t actually waited enough time for it to "brew" 24 hours rather than 9 It was still delicious. I can''t wait to have another cup of the final product when I get home from work.

The coffee is smoother. More flavorful. And that''s based off a weak version of the concentrate!

I went looking for a simple cold coffee maker that wasn''t unatractive and wasn''t going to cost an arm and a leg.

All I can say is that I am very pleased to have stumbled across this beauty. This cold brew pot turned out to be absolutely perfect in every way, it was exactly what I was looking for.

I also really like how very little space this takes up in my fridge and I love that it''s made of glass it makes the pot look nicer than a lot of the other plastic ones out there. The mesh filter works perfectly and the results taste amazing.

I pity the people who sent theirs back as they will not get to enjoy what I am enjoying right now. I would definately recommend this to everyone looking for a simple and elegant option for brewing cold coffee.

I bought this after reading the reviews. some reviewers noted that all instructions are in Japanese. there is a worthwhile YouTube that shows how to use the same model. It''s easy to use and fits well in the fridge. I previously had the toddy-maker. I would not recommend that. it relies on a wool type filter. after it inevitably gets clogged, it won''t drain. It also sits precariously on your counter and if it goes over you have a giant mess. (Don''t ask how I know.)

this thing is basically a giant filter that sits in the pot. the water soaks through it and you get coffee. IT TAKES A LOT OF COFFEE. I have only used it for ice coffee and the quality is very good. I don''t know how it would be diluted, though.

they also say you can''t put it in the dishwasher. i don''t see why you can''t top shelf it. it''s plastic and glass. the filter rinses easily by hand and i probably wouldn''t put it in the dishwasher.

the only real negative about this thing is that you have to carefully re-stir in the filter. otherwise the coffee seems to get hard. maybe it doesn''t matter, but the water seems to get in better if you do. it also seemed to work better on the the counter than in the fridge. they tell you not to leave it out for more than 8 hours. i did, with no ill effects. (you leave the toddy-maker out the whole time too. you have to because it won''t fit in the fridge.)

all in all, a good coffee gadget.

OK, so this pot truly does what the description says it should. I bought it as a gift and my friends are very pleased with it, the Mizudashi pot makes wonderful coffee and it is nice looking as well. The coffee brewed this way is great tasting, the glowing reviews are right.

However, I would not buy it for myself, since we have too many coffee tools, from a fancy Nespresso machine, to a french press, to an Aerobie AeroPress, to travel filters, filtering mugs and so forth. We do love our coffee, we like the taste and need the caffeine.

We truly enjoy the taste of cold-brewed coffee, and, since we have an inclination to experiment and a will to stay away from "uni-taskers", we tried to find an alternative to this pot and I think we have a great one. A one litre mason jar and a "FORLIFE Brew-in-Mug Extra-Fine Tea Infuser with Lid" (our camping coffee and tea filter) that fits right on top of the jar will do the trick for us. When the coffee is done, I can leave it in the jar with a nice fitting lid, or I can transfer it to a carafe, and put the filter in the dishwasher (it''s stainless steel).

The cold-brewed coffee is nice and smooth and I could be compelled to purchase the Mizudashi coffee pot itself, but I cannot foresee washing it by hand (which my friends say is strongly recommended). My clumsy hands have broken countless french presses, and we now own the Frieling Stainless one. This would probably be be the time to mention that we adore our dishwasher as well as our coffee.

If you have the will and ability to wash this by hand, I strongly recommend this pot, it is pretty and does the job well. My two cents are added for an alternative that is not as pretty, but it is functional and can be washed in a dishwasher (a strong inducement in our family).

I love my Delta faucet but made the mistake of buying a generic aerator the last time from a local hardware store. That aerator never did work right and I determined to replace it with a Delta replacement which this happens to be.

Well it came in this morning and I installed it and am very pleased with its operation. How, one may ask, can one aerator work better than another? It so happens I can address that question; a good aerator creates a water stream that doesn''t splash around, a bad one produces a stream of water that is deflected all around and can make a mess.

These aerators are definitely the good ones and produce a stream of water that doesn''t splash around.

Just to be on the safe side I ordered two of them and now have one in reserve. It''s surprising how difficult it can be to find a simple replacement locally.

I would also like to compliment Grady''s Online for their prompt delivery; the order was placed on April 19th and came in today, April 22nd and that was with standard shipping!

This part works great. It''s a good quality and you can tell that as soon as you pick it up because it''s nice an heavy (unlike the cheep plastic aerator that someone put on my bathroom faucet years ago). It fit my old Delta faucet no problems and I''d highly recommend this part.

This aerator is PERFECT! We desperately needed this aerator. I screwed it on to the kitchen faucet and I had instant gratification! The water is beautifully aerated and it makes really nice dish washing liquid bubbles for washing the dishes. I am VERY happy with this product. I intend to purchase more as the needs arises. Thank you so much for a GREAT product and very fast shipping!

UPDATE: The same kitchen faucet had a leak that wouldn''t quit. Drip, drip, drip--all day and night. We were making plans to call the plumber and spend hundreds of dollars to get that leak fixed. Well...here''s an unexpected result. I screwed the Delta Aerator into the kitchen faucet and guess what...NO MORE LEAKY FAUCET!!! I can''t begin to tell you how HAPPY we are that we did NOT have to call an expensive plumber! Additionally, the water bill should be lower because the constant dripping increases water usage. Increased water usage means more money out of our already strapped pockets.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for such a GREAT product! (Emphasis added)

I needed to have a supply of aerators on hand, for my old kitchen faucet spout, (Delta 380) that Delta doesn''t make any more. However, Delta still not only makes these aerators, but they work on newer model kitchen faucet-spouts as well. We have very hard water, and the aerators get lime-scale and sometimes the plastic filter cracks when you try to clean it. The rubber washer also goes bad. It''s better to replace the entire aerator, then waste time buying new bits and pieces of it. I purchased several of these to have on hand for the future. I''m really happy with Delta Faucets becasue they still support a lot of their older products.

So happy with this aerator! I''m so tired of the low pressure in all our sinks due to the restricting aerators. This one gives a better flow so I can get rinsed in our soft water!

Euro-Pro Shark S3601 Professional Steam Pocket Mop Save 7% Off

Euro-Pro Shark S3601 Professional Steam Pocket MopTitle says it all -I love it! Easy to use, heats up quickly and does a great job at cleaning. I used to have the Eureka Enviro Steamer (yellow) which was bulky and did not a good job of getting into corners and up along the edges of the floor. The Shark glides along and reaches under cabinets and the lip of the stove and refrigerator. I love the pad for the professional vs. the deluxe Shark. The professional pad has little "fingers" all over it which does a super job of cleaning the toughest dirty floors. I have two toddler boys who spill everything on the floor. This machine has saved my life!

So here''s the deal. I''ve read just about every review there is on every floor steamer that exists. I''ve used old school mops, swiffer wet jet (useless) and even hands/knees with sponges and magic erasers. After my first use, i stared at the floors and was a bit disappointed. However, after really looking at the floor under bright natural light, I realized that all the streaks I was seeing were a result off all the old pinesol/swiffer/orange glo/pledge I was blasting off my hardwoods. With this in mind, I conceded to a double scrubbing and was pretty happy with the results. Now that I''ve used the steam mop a couple of times, I''m amazed with how clean/non-sticky my floors are. While The first few times may have been a bit more time consuming, i now find that my mopping time is literally 1/4 of what it used to be. Maybe even more impressive is that I''ve found myself mopping the floor at least every other week whereas it used to be put off to a once every other month, with spot treatments as needed. To address some of the concerns, yes, you do have to vacuum first, and if there''s a huge mud clot on the floor you''re going to have to scrape off the bulk. I''d say for the price it can''t be beat.

I''ve been looking for a floor cleaner that would clean the crevasses in my stone flooring. Heavy machines hurt my back for weekly cleaning, small automatic cleaners that use pads and spray chemicals don''t get into the deeper portions of the floor. Also, I don''t like drying the floor with an additional towel so we can walk on it right away.

So when I saw a commercial for this product I thought "what the heck" and bought it. I thought that it would be fine for daily dusting, but had my doubts that it would clean that well, and figured the pads would become prohibitively expensive, but I had to try it.

I can''t comment on the pads as yet, but one pad worked well for all three areas, and is still not too dirty to use on the other side next time, but I do tend to clean my floor regularly. An especially dirty floor might need more than one pad.

It''s easy to assemble, heated up quickly, comes with an extra long cord so you can clean more at one time without unplugging, and the hot steam lasted through the bathroom, dining area, and kitchen.

I had it on the scrub cycle through the entire cleaning just to test how long the water in the reservoir would last. When I was done, I had 1/4 of a tank full left, which was better than I expected! (call me Doubting Thomasina)

I have two small parrots and their droppings are notoriously hard to clean up; usually I have to use a paint scraper on the dried stuff. This cleaned it up easily, and cleaned even in the deepest crevasses.

The floor was immediately ready to walk on, and it''s squeaky clean... literally, my bare feet squeak on it, and the floor glows.

I would highly suggest this product, make sure you use it as instructed, and use only filtered or distilled water in the tank so you don''t leave hard water residue on the floor.

I got this mop on sale at Costco a couple of months ago. The first couple of times that I tried using it, I was disappointed. I set the mop to the heaviest "scrub" setting, and it still wasn''t getting up even small spots on the floor. If I hovered over the spot for 45 seconds to a minute, it might start coming off... but it was disappointing and time consuming to say the least. The third time I used the mop, I decided to dampen the mop head with warm tap water before starting to scrub. Wow! It made a huge difference!! And my floors ended up spotless and squeaky clean (and the mophead completely saturated with dirt on both sides)! Get the mop head wet, and you won''t be disappointed! (unless of course you want to clean your floors without getting them wet, but in my opinion, that just isn''t possible ;)

I got my mop around 3 weeks ago and have used it 2-3 times so far. I like it better then the regular steam mop because the water tank opening is facing upwards istead of on the side of the machine and makes filling it easy, it produces automatic steam instead of having to pump the handle and has 3 different levels of steam for dusting, mopping and scrubbing. The pads it comes with are different from the regular mop but the old mop pads fit on this one also so I can reuse all the extras I bought instead of having to buy more. It does pretty well on my ceramic tile floors and picks up most of the spills and dirt spots. The only problem is any hair or larger items on the floor wont stick so you have to vacuum or sweep before which I have the pet vacuum for hard floors that is quick and works well on my floors. I really love that is doesnt use any chemicals because I have 2 dachshunds which are low to the ground and 70% of my house is tile so that is a lot of floor to clean and makes the chances of them getting sick from a cleaning product much higher. It''s very quick and leaves the floor mostly dry and no stickyness. I originally bought this one because my regular steam mop broke after only having it for less than a year. I really loved my old mop but this one is even better and I hope they have worked out the problems from the old mop so I can keep it for more then a year. Other thanthat I think this mop is great and so far I love it.

General Electric Gxrm10rbl

General Electric Gxrm10rblI have a friend that had purchased the same product which they were very happy with and recommended it to us .. I did have a problem with the product delievered to me , but Plumbers Outpost took care of the problem qiuckly to our satisfaction. I plan on in the future to do business with them again .

This is a 3 stage filter with an RO membrane that is spec''d out to work with your standard tap''s pressure; no booster needed. Not needing the booster saves money and eases installation but it does impact the maximum daily throughput. With that said, it''s a light duty, but you get good quality RO water. With the included reservoir it definitely produces enough volume for an average household''s daily drinking needs, but you aren''t going to be able to shower in it ;)

If I need to take water with me I''ll leave a 3gallon container under the opened tap over night and in the morning it''s nearly full. It reduces the many industrial wastes that end up in our water supply on accident and even those that are added on purpose, like fluoride, so it serves it''s purpose well.

I copied the full list of pollutants it reduces from another review that I read which helped me make this purchase:

Reverse Osmosis is a process of filtering a liquid, such as water through a semi-permeable membrane (filter) which will transmit the liquid but will impede most solids. Reverse osmosis filtration
