Krups 472-00 Duofilter

Krups 472-00 Duofilter, 1 Year Supply, 6 filtersWhen I ordered this, I was under the impression I was getting "one click no shipping" That was not the case, and I am very upset by the deception. I would urge you not to use this company, they were unwilling to cancel the order. It was a Sunday, they were closed for all intents and purposes, but still sent the package (with shipping fee) on Monday. I can afford to drive a long way for the filters next time with the shipping I will save. I won''t feel screwed either.

Coffee tastes pure and clean when using this filter.I can tell the difference when the filter needs changing. Great idea to put a filter in the Krups coffee pot!

Aqua-Pure AP117 Premium Chlorine Filter

Aqua-Pure AP117 Premium Chlorine Filter AP-117
  • Micron Rating - 5 Micron Nominal
  • Flow Rate - 3 Gallons per minute
  • Specially Formulated High-Absorption Activated Carbon
  • Triple Action for Dirt, Rust, Chlorine Taste and Odor
  • Chlorine Reduction Rated for 10,000 Gallons (37,854 L)

This is, in my opinion, one of the finest basic chlorine filters and screens on the residential market. I have used Aqua-Pure filters (Both Models# AP110 and AP117) for well over 22 years in our 63 year old house. 3M Company now owns the Aqua-Pure (a.k.a "Cuno") brand and appears to be continuing to manufacture these filters with the same commitment to quality and reliability as before. I use an Aqua-Pure AP110 basic sediment pre-filter mated to the Aqua-Pure AP117 Chlorine Filter under our kitchen sink to provide filtered drinking water. Although the manufacturer recommends replacing both filters every 3 months, I have found that if you are using this simply to provide non-chlorinated drinking water in one location of your house or apartment, you can easily expect to get 2-3 years before you begin to detect chlorine. This is assuming that you are on a municipal water system, such as Aqua America as we are.

Suggestion #2: When you install the new cartridges, be sure to properly clean both canister housings using hot soapy water and then rinsing, especially if you notice algae (green sediment or slime) on the inside walls of each canister-This is no cause for alarm and caused by light entering the canisters. Note: If your canister housings are colored or tinted, you should not have any algae on your filters.

Suggestion #3: When replacing the canister(s), you must also lubricate the rubber "o" rings or gaskets again, using some petroleum jelly or silicone grease before you replace the canister housing(s) back to your unit-if not it may leak.

The results? Great tasting, clean water for pennies!

Ragalta RWC-100 White Countertop Thermo Electric Water Cooler with Cold and Room TemperatureWhen I received the product, it was broken. I hooked it up anyways as it was only the bottom plastic and still held water. Once it was running for a while, the water never got cold. I would recommend a free standing unit over this one.

The item arrived broken. The Base of the unit is made of thin plastic. The Compressor broke off and was rattling around inside when it arrived. Not going to chance having another one shipped.

Oster BVST-EK5966 1-2/3-Liter Electric Water Kettle, Stainless Steel Save 25% Off

Oster BVST-EK5966 1-2/3-Liter Electric Water Kettle, Stainless SteelI am using this kettle for the last 30 days(Bought it from Wal-M, Sorry Amazon) and i''ve already used it about 30 times or more to make my tea(I LOVE TEA). So far no leak no problem. this kettle hold 1.70 liters which is about 57.50 Oz.

It takes 6 minutes and 45 seconds (6:45)to bring it to boil at full capacity (1.7 liters)and 4 minutes 32 seconds for 1.00 liter and at minimum recommended capacity which is half a liter(2 Cups) it take 2 minutes and 6 seconds water to boil(I start with water room temprature of 69F and 2500 feet above sea level). That it not bad. I like the idea of the body is Stainless Steel because plastic ones add Odor and chemical to the water which is not safe in my opinion(even though, this unit has some plastic part inside, Like filter or top part of the lid from inside But you can remove the filter if you want). It also has Blue LED light inside! the kettle so you can see if the unit in working or not. No cord is connected to the kettle itself so that''s make it very convenient(cordless). I also recommend, Boil water 3-5 times at full capacity to clean (remove manufaturing oil) and disinfect this unit before the first use.

I''ve heard some other ones they have " Keep warm" function so you dont have to reheat the water after 30 minutes of not using it. When you want to buy any electric kettle research about the leakage problem. since a lots of them in the market prone to leak and that can cause fire. One thing i have to mention is, I use Soft Water so when we boil water over time there are no calcium deposits are attached to the inside container and this adds to the life of any water boiler or water heater. By the way, since this unit has open wide top access, therefore is very easy to clean this kettele. In my opinion, this is a MUST HAVE in every kitchen.

Tip: By the way this item(Oster Kettle BVST-EK5966) and Sanyo model# U-K170S are the same one. So if you planning to buy this one, now you can check which one is cheaper.

I''m sure in up coming months more US manufacturer will add more feature to this type of kettle at more affordable prices, like digital control, digital display, keep warm function and so on....

Also remember to close the lid before boiling water. If you dont close the lid, It will take more time for this kettle to turn itself off.

To be honest, I would not even think of buying an Oster product because it seems the percentage of defectives are higher than some brands but this one working just fine for me.

Update: (Jan. 16, 2010): We still use this kettle everyday (now more than 5-6 times a day actually) still works great. no leak and no malfunction and the performance is as good as first day we bought it. I recommend, if you want to use it only for 1 or 2 cups, don''t fill up with water more than 0.5 liter (2 cups). If you dont do that, then you are going to pay higher electric bill for NO reason. If you need to use it again then fill some more water (since this unit it does not have keep warm feature, it does not make sense to boil more than you are going to use in than moment). And since this kettle has window to see how much water has inside, there''s no way to turn on this unit without water.(even though it has protection against dry turn on)

Update 2(April 24, 2011): By now I''ve been using this kettle for the last 18 months and Still working fantastic and we use it many, many times a day. No problem at all. Very happy with my purchase.

Update 3 (Feb. 11, 2013): Still Perfect. No bad taste, No Malfunction, No problem what so ever and i''m using it 10-12 times a day(Yes, Every single day). I own this kettle for the last 3 years and 5 months.

Cons (based on first week of usage):

Auto shutoff kicks in a bit late for my taste. My older kettle shuts off a bit earlier, but this is a personal thing.

Oily residue on the inside of the kettle. Difficult to remove, even after several rinsings with vinegar/water solution and dishwashing soap. Update: I don''t notice the residue now, although it took 5 or 6 boilings to get to that point.

Inside is NOT entirely stainless steel, as another reviewer mentioned. There is the plastic(?) water level gauge, as well as a removable plastic mounting bracket for the filter, which is itself plastic. The wonderful shiny blue light (mentioned in the other reviews) comes from a small plastic casing at the base of the kettle. There is also a steel rod connecting the cap of the kettle to the base, and there is a small rubber seal at the base of this rod. This is not a lot of plastic compared to some kettles, but it is there.

Pros:

Sturdy and straightforward to use.

Easy push-button cap that springs open and clicks shut.

Update (3/27/2011): Seems pretty durable--still going strong after a year of daily use.

The cons above seem to be common to most kettles. Also, the exterior of the kettle gets very hot, although this is normal for a kettle.

Buy Oster BVST-EK5966 1-2/3-Liter Electric Water Kettle, Stainless Steel Now

What a great gift for busy, absent-minded friends and family of all ages.

Due to many forgotten, burned-out water pots on our stove; we have tried many water kettles. We gave up because: impossible to clean the interiors; occupying too much counter space; lengthy heating periods; lids that stuck and rusted; parts, seams and materials in the water chamber affecting health and taste; and the inconvenience of the cord when pouring.

I could not believe the perfect design of this kettle: the interior is accessible for cleaning and all stainless, the cordless removable unit to carry to the table, the quick heating, large capacity, the press-button pop-up lid, non-drip pouring spout, removable filtering screen, cord storage... Oster thought of everything for safety and convenience!

But then added the LED blue light that is on so you know when it is heating! A moment of beauty! The boiling water creates blue shadows through the translucent lid and capacity window like a moving sea.

Most of all peace of mind that the pot is off!

This kettle is ok but not great, and different than the image shows.

Firstly, the image and description show a loop handle; and the image also shows ridges (grip) on the inside of the handle.

The actual kettle that arrived, despite having the correct model number, has a long straight handle with no ridges.

The handle is a cheap slippery plastic with a seam running down the side. The seam had a chipped piece of plastic missing along the seam (1/2 inch long), and when you squeeze the handle the seam bulges open slightly.

The handle is slippery, and I have concerns about it tilting in my hand whilst it is full of boiling water.

Pros:

The kettle looks great, shiny stainless steel and a blue light inside.

It is 2000w so heats fast

The press-open lid works well

The filter is easy to remove

Cons:

The water gauge is in liters rather than in cups/mugs, so it is hard to know how much to fill it depending on the amount of drinks you need to make.

The handle is a cheap plastic, prone to defects and different than in the image

Returned it due to the tainted taste and smell from the plastic component, water level indicator inside. Otherwise, it was a cool looking one and functioned well.

Capresso 4440.90 3-pack Charcoal Water Filters Save 6% Off

Capresso 4440.90 3-pack Charcoal Water FiltersAs much as I love Capresso products this one is questionable.

You might wonder what I mean by this well, first of all look at the costs for just three filters. Second: If you use these filters as recommended on the package (60 uses or 6 weeks) then just do the math.

Yes, you will pay in one year more than the cost of your coffee maker. I have a Capresso coffee maker that cost over $200 and I love it but cannot afford these filters.

To beat this unnecessary filter and its expense, this is what you do. Simply use filtered water. Quality filtered water will be without all the particles and contaminants that will hurt your coffee maker. Then, follow the coffee maker''s instructions regarding its cleaning like using white vinegar to keep the system free of harmful calcification.

Manufacturers are in business to make money and they will sell you whatever you believe you must buy these filters are not necessary!

Beginning with the Coffee Team Plus, Capresso introduced the concept of a water filter in the water tank of their automatic coffee makers. If you use tap water, the filter is a wonderful idea. It removes impurities and chlorine before the water is heated. Clean water and a clean coffee maker = great coffee.

The manufacturer''s recommendation is to change filters every 6 weeks or 60 pots of coffee. I usually change them every two months, or so. I imagine the effectiveness of the filter may depend on the quality of the water you use. I haven''t had a problem yet.

Usage tip: Each filter is individually wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh until opened. When you open a filter, first soak it in cold water for about 15 minutes. Then rinse it under running water for another minute or two until the water dripping from the filter is clear. If you still see black particles dripping from the filter, run a pot of water through the coffee maker, with the new filter inserted, without coffee beans and discard the water afterward, or use the water for plants (when it is cooled, of course.)

I thought I would raise the average rating on this product: I use it for my cappresso coffee maker & grinder and works very well. As far as not working on other coffee makers it doesn''t take a genius to read a manual or even to look at the damn things. Sorry to offend anyone mistakes happen or even ignorance but rating it a zero because YOU baught the wrong product is stupidity. Thanks and enjoy the clean water = good tasting coffee!

I have always used the water filters and had no complaints. Just make sure you soak them for a few minutes and run a few cups of water (no coffee) through your coffee maker when you put a new one in. This will eliminate any stray charcoal in the first pot of coffee you brew with a new filter.

I have been buying these filters for about 5 years and was so happy to find them on the amazon site. Capresso has not been an easy company to buy products from. Vicks V4500 FilterFree Humidifier Save 1% Off

Vicks V4500 FilterFree HumidifierOK, I have had this humidifier for about two months now. Make sure you are aware of the requirements of a filter-free humidifier before you buy one. First of all, I couldn''t stand having a filtered humidifier. Constantly having to buy filters, they''d be out of stock at Target, unavailable for my brand at the supermarket, just too annoying, and honestly, they''re several bucks every time. Why can''t I just clean my own humidifier?

So here''s the thing. If you opt to go filter free, read the documentation. I think a lot of the negative reviewers here aren''t following the instructions... you have to clean your humidifier ONCE A WEEK. Some people are reporting, ''I have had my humidifier for a month and it''s starting to stink.'' Well, have you cleaned it four times since you''ve had it?

And yes, I would say, it''s a bit of stretch to call this whisper quiet. Like any device running while you''re trying to sleep, you''re going to hear it. And when you''re lying down trying to fall asleep, anything can sound like a freight train. But yes, I would not call this whisper quiet. It''s just as loud as any other humidifier I''ve experienced. Being someone who likes to sleep in pitch dark, though, I''d say the very bright on-light is more annoying than the sound. I find the whisping whirr of it quite calming.

And the bottom line here is, I''ve slept wonderfully since I bought it. I wake up and find that I''ve been breathing through my nose instead of mouth-breathing like I had been. Because my sinuses are staying open and moistened.

So there you have it. If you want to go filter-free, you''re taking on the task of cleaning it. Three quick release screws, soaking the base and intake tube in white vinegar, rinsing, putting it back together.

I am suprised by all the negative reviews. We bought 1 for my oldest daughter last year (end 2006) as she had croup and it worked just fine. A few months ago my youngest daughter had also a cold and cough at the same time as my oldest so we went back to buy a second one.

We don''t have mold issues (even though very often if it is not in use we forget to take the water out...and to take the water out is recommended)

It makes the room humid enough (windows are wet the next morning) the best thing for cold/coughing instead of dry air.

Yes it makes quit a lot of noise when it is running but it doesn''t cause a problem for my 2 girls to feel or stay in sleep.

And yes we had the first time we used also the waterproblem as we didn''t put it back right. But after that never had a problem again...

They are both still working!

I''ve had this unit for five months and dropped the Protect cartridge in there every month on the 12th to keep it clean. Despite these efforts, it has developed a pink film along with black mold that you can smell when it operates. I''m having trouble breathing. The area that is affected is IMPOSSIBLE to get to in order to clean it even with pressurized air. My unit has also flooded on two occassions destroying everything on my dresser.

I contacted Kaz who makes the unit. They said they would replace it but I''d be out of a unit for 6-8 weeks and I''d have to pay shipping costs. They will not replace it with another unit so I''m sure the same problem will reoccur. I decided to clean the unit the best that I can (this took 2 hours) and use liquid bacteriostatic water treatment instead of the worthless Protect cartridges. I hope this works.

For me this has worked perfectly for months now, keeping the air in the room with my guitar at just the right humidity. I bought mine elsewhere but have had others and this one works just fine if you know what you are doing and take precautions. Not for every one, but for most, the red / orange is not mold but iron in your water. For most but not all, the white powder is lime in your water. This is a fact of life for many areas of the country and why people use water filters and water softeners. If you are in a problem area, use a Brita pitcher to filter the water you fill it with. I have tried it with our softened water with no problems but we recently got rid of the softener and will soon be switching to truly filtered water for the entire house. Until then I use a filtered water pitcher. All humidifiers have this problem. Even Consumers gave none more then an average rating for this problem. Baking soda, light bleach mixture, special cleaner, or just let it completely dry out once in a while and you, as I am, will probably be happy with the unit. Mine is still running clear and clean. For the money, this one ca''t be beaten.

As so many others have stated, this product is a complete waste of money, and, I believe, a health hazard. If I could give it "0" stars I would. Despite my best efforts to use filtered water, a ProTec cartridge, and disinfect all reachable parts on a weekly basis with vinegar and/or bleach, mold has grown in the motor housing that is impossible to reach in order to properly sanitize this product. After contacting Kaz, I was told the same thing as so many others (I was hoping maybe they had changed their policy), that I would have to send the item back on my own dime, just to receive the same piece of junk as a replacement. Then, once I received the new one, I should "empty all the water from the tank and base (daily). Then run the unit without any water in it for at least 1 hour to dry the fan housing. If you do not want to run the unit without any water I would just remove the fan housing and unscrew the bottom cover and lay the fan housing on its side so it can air dry." Yeah, like I have the time to do that every day with two small children and one on the way. So this humidifier will probably end up in the trash, a waste of $45 + tax.

FYI, in the last couple of weeks I have purchased a Crane humidifier which doesn''t require a filter either (unless you have hard water), for less money, and so far I haven''t had any issues with it. It does its job perfectly! From now on, I will not be purchasing any more Vicks/Kaz products due to their complete lack of concern that they have sold a health hazard and aren''t taking any responsibility to rectify the situation.

Rubbermaid Filtration Bottle Filter Refill (Pack of 2) Save 27% Off

Rubbermaid Filtration Bottle Filter Refill, Pack of 2After reading all the reviews and double checking the packaging, which says "Fits with all Rubbermaid FilterFresh bottles", I was confident that these were the correct filters for this Rubbermaid 20-ounce FilterFresh bottle but these filters did not fit.

PROBLEMS:

The filter that came with the bottle had no extra ring around the outer top edge.

This filter does not have threads to screw it into the bottle.

The part # for this replacement filter pack is 1J63. I have no idea which filter pack I need but this is *not* it.

I am so sad. The Rubbermaid Filter Fresh water bottle used to be the best one on the market, but the new filter design is a disaster. It kills the product and makes it absolutely terrible. The original design did not leak at all as many reviews state, and it was the best, BUT NOW YOU CAN ONLY GET THE NEW FILTERS, and those LEAK!!

The NEW FILTER does NOT attach to the lid, is loose and in the way at filling, can FALL OUT and get lost or dirty at filling, and NOW LEAKS ALL OVER YOU when you squeeze it!

I actually liked being able to squeeze it, I shouldn''t have to wait for it to fall into my mouth like a baby just to keep from getting soaked when it leaks from all around the rim because of the new filter design.

Why on earth would they do something so terrible and stupid? Did they want to cancel the product line by driving people away from it, only after swindling them out of money for some junk first?

This had been my FAVORITE filter water bottle since I purchased on one Nov. 13, 2011 from Amazon.com. At that time, and for many filter purchases following, the filters had a top like a bottle mouth that screwed into the lid and kept it secure and sure to be filtering your water. It was fantastic.

Some people had complained about the fact that you could never quite get the last quarter inch of water because it couldn''t be made to go into the filter, but that was no big loss and not much that could be done about it. All in all, it WAS the BEST on the market. My Brita bottle was a train wreck of a bottle, I went through three of themone was sent free from Brita because I complained about how ALL of their bottles leak all over you, but why would I want MORE useless junk? I don''t know how anyone got one of those that didn''t leak all over them.

The Rubbermaid FilterFresh bottle was perfect. Secure. Reliable. Easy to fill. BUT NOW IT''S TERRIBLE! The new filter design does not attach in any way. The screw top is gone. Now it does not stay secure to the bottle top when you go to fill and it gets in the way and can fall out. You don''t wanna put a dropped filter back in your drinking water, do you? Ew. In addition it is no longer reliably filtering your water!! Since it moves around and no longer screws to the lid, it can''t keep all the water going through the filter before you drink it, water will get around it. It now LEAKS from all around the rim if you squeeze it and GETS WATER ALL OVER YOU just like that worthless junk Brita was churning out. This is AN ABSOLUTE MESS and TOTALLY USELESS.

How on earth could they make such an obviously TERRIBLE change??? This is SO SAD. I loved this bottle, I would have kept getting the filters and if needed replaced the bottle for however long they were on the market, and I would have continued to recommend them to everyone, but now I must say that no one should ever get one, unless they go back to the OLD FILTER DESIGN THAT ACTUALLY WORKED. If they do not, then this bottle is entirely useless, an unreliable filter, a hassle to fill, and entirely too troublesome to be worth it. WHAT A MESS!!

I bought 2 of these when I took my dad across the country to visit my son in Denver. Not being accustomed to the dry air out there, my son suggested we carry water bottles with us. Since you can''t get through airport security with liquids, I figured with this we could go through security with it empty, then fill it up once inside. We filled them with tap water from the airport rest room, and although the water wasn''t super cold to begin with, the taste was excellent and it was easy to drink from. We carried them in our onboard bags, and there was no leakage (which would have been a major problem since my onboard bag had my laptop computer in it). Once in Denver, we were able to fill our bottles at any tap and the taste was fresh and clean. We also purchased insulated sleeves with shoulder straps to make carrying them easier, and the water stayed cold with the sleeves.

Tap Water Filter Save 44% Off

Tap Water FilterConceptually this is a good method of transforming hard water into "soft" water via an ion exchange resin located inside the column. Unfortunately, hard water (which exists where water is pulled from the ground, typically) reduces the usability to about 10 gallons of water. Further, the columns are difficult to swap out without producing periodic leaks, they are awkward to store when not in use and they cannot be regenerated at home necessitating the purchase of new columns very frequently.

It does not provide value for the cost.

So I have off the scale, hard municipal water... and this filter actually does a pretty good job on it. It produces water completely free of contaminates, chlorine, etc (using api test kit ofc), and does so at 10 gph with no runoff more efficient than most home RO machines, especially at the price. It''s also extremely simple to hook up and use.

The problem is, I too only got an estimated 30-40 gallons out of the canister, which is well short of the advertised average of 50-150 gallons.

My tank is an open design 55 gallon, and I lose close to 5 gallons a week to evaporation. So I did some math.

40 gallons produced (1 canister) / 5 gallons per week = roughly 8 weeks of use, for $22 plus shipping

40 gallons x .50 cents at the RO machine down the street = $20 (minus hauling all that water up 2 flights op stairs every other week)

After a close race, the machine loses by a narrow margin. But only because the canisters cost too much. If they were to drop the price a bit, I might pick some up for the convenience alone. As for now, I''ll pretend to be content lugging water cans around all the time. Guess it''s good exercise.

I got 10 years out of my old DI filter, running off water for many salt tanks in a way that didn''t waste water the way my old RO unit did. But eventually, the fitting cracked, and I am just thrilled they are still being manufactured. Great, efficient, yes cartridges are pricey but on a decent water supply they last a while, and takes little storage space.

I''ve been using this filter for almost 6 years and it works very well. I use it to filter water for my saltwater reef tank. The cartridges last me roughly 75-100 gallons and our water is fairly hard here. I work for the local water authority and I like that I am able to conserve water using this over your typical wasteful rodi. I did make an adapter to hook it up to the water hose bib and add an extra ten feet of hose too it, but that''s soley for my convince.

Mavea 1001127 Marella 8-Cup Water Filtration Pitcher

Mavea 1001127 Marella 8-Cup Water Filtration PitcherRecently I replaced my original PUR pitcher with this very attractive Mavea pitcher and I''m happy with it. The water tastes as good, if not a little better, than my PUR-filtered water. I have no way to run a scientific test on the two pitchers, just going by my taste buds, and that''s what matters to me.

My city water comes from a reservoir that has an algae problem every summer, and this year it started earlier than normal; the chemicals used to treat the algae taste so bad I gag when brushing my teeth. This filter removes the bad taste, along with many other chemicals that are present in our water. It does NOT remove the fluoride though.

The pitcher is constructed similar to the PUR with the double chamber. This is the cheaper model of the Mavea pitchers, and this one has a timer on top; it keeps track of time only, not how many pitchers of water have been filtered through. To get a pitcher that keeps track of the amount of water filtered through, you would have to purchase the Elemaris model. In either pitcher model the battery lasts around 5 years according to the literature, but it''s not replaceable, so the pitcher needs replaced every 5 years, if you want to continue to use the gauge.

I love the flip-up lid to refill the water; the only time you have to remove the entire lid is to replace the filter or wash out the pitcher. Initially the entire lid is hard to snap on to the pitcher, but with the tight fit that will mean that it won''t come off when pouring.

This does fit inside my refrigerator door, but I have the extra large shelves that hold gallon jugs. Not so sure it will fit if you have smaller shelves in your door.

BPA-free plastic is used in all the parts of the pitcher, and Mavea also has a filter recycling program if you are into that. They will provide the postage to ship the filters back to them, but you have to wait until you accumulate 6 filters before returning.

You don''t have to soak a new filter like you do with the PUR filters, but you need to run 2 pitchers of water through a new filter before drinking. I hope Amazon continues to stock the replacement filters as I know of no other place that sells them...hopefully, this brand of water pitcher will catch on and they will be easier to find in the future.

NOTE: Another reviewer complains about mold I''ve had this pitcher for over 2 years and never any mold in mine!

I bought one of each.

Marella (this page). Has the flip lid (like the Brita), and the same non-removable countdown timer as the Brita (it looks absolutely identical).

Elemaris. Has the pour through lid, and a higher quality removable water usage meter. Note, the Marella meter is based on time. The Elemaris meter is based on actual water flowing through the jug, which means you''re much more likely to replace the filter when needed. The Elemaris also has a nice rubber push button, unlike the finger nail killing button on the Marella and Brita.

When I love about the Elemaris is that you can pop out the meter prior to washing, either by hand or in the dishwasher. The Marella, just like the Brita, doesn''t do this. Which means in a few months, it will be soaked, and broken. And that''s exactly what happened to the three Brita jugs I owned.

Summary: Buy the Elemaris XL. It''s the better Mavea jug.

I have always used Brita pitchers in the past and was never quite satisfied with the results. The lid used to come off frequently and the water would get contaminated if it was still filtering while pouring a new glass of water. The design of this pitcher prevents that from happening. I also love that you can collect the filters and send them back for recycling. The water tastes great! It definitely reduced my fiance''s bottled water use drastically.

My entire family enjoys the new Mavea filtration pitcher. It fits nicely on the refrigerator door. The little flip lid over the pour spout was broken upon arrival but doesn''t affect the functionality at all. I like the guide measuring the life of the filter making it easy to know when it should be replaced.
