I have replaced my filter every 6 months or so that feeds the ice maker and water dispenser in my house. This new filter works just as well as the others, however, it is about 1/4" shorter than the others. If you don''t have any slack in the copper pipe this could cause an issue. Changing the size withour changing the part number seems wrong, even though the difference is slight.

As for the water filtering, that seems to be working as well as ever.

I own an old orange Master Plunger that I bought about 10 years ago, and there simply is NO better plunger made; it''s every bit as good as the day I bought it.

So, when I moved to a house with two bathrooms, I went online to see if I could find another of the same. I was so excited to find they were still made, and the price was not much more than I paid years ago. I ordered two~~one for the other bathroom and one for our camp.

However, when I received the plunger, imagine my distress to find that the company had cheapened their product and ruined the "perfect plunger."

The old plunger had a narrower mouth at the bottom but the same large bellows design; it was made of a different type of plastic (dull, not unlike the plastic used to make milk jugs; the new plunger is made of a shiny, much less rigid plastic [maybe polypropelene?]) and the handle did not "give" at all when you put pressure on it.

The new plunger handle feels as if it will fold over if I put my full weight against it, and the plunger tends to splash water all over me and the floor when I use it because it doesn''t seat in securely into the toilet drain, as the old one did. It still plunges OK (though it now takes a couple tries before it unclogs the drain), but it''s just not the quality of the old one.

I would not recommend the new product to anyone; I''m sure there are better products on the market. Too bad the company ruined it. They had a fantastic product, but evidently profits were more important than quality. They''ve lost my business and my support.

I just bought this plunger today at the recommendation of the hardware store salesperson. I was a bit skepticle due to it''s large size and simple, all-plastic design, but it worked on the first try! Yes it did sloush the water around a bit but at least it worked and in only about a minute or two. Also, it''s plastic screw-on bottom design makes it easy to clean and store. I''m thrilled with this product it works and it works quickly AND the price is great too!

It is SO hard to find an adequate plunger anymore, one that doesn''t fall apart with the first or second use. The knob on the handle on this one collapsed with the first or second use, but not to the extent that it isn''t usable, although it does put extra strain on the hands and wrists. The handle doesn''t seem designed for homo sapiens! That knob in the middle of the handle? Please! What''s that for?! But the worst part of it is that it splashes up a bit on the user''s hands, worse than others I''ve used (or tried to use), and since I already have bowel lissues, I sure don''t need an excuse for more, from fecal bacteria finding their way back into my system, if you''ll pardon my medical explicitness. (C''mon, it''s a TOILET plunger we''re talking about, for gosh sake. Grow up.)

For five years one I got at Sears Hardware was like magic! I SO wish Sears hadn''t discontinued that line, or that I''d made a note of its manufacturer or any other distinguishing information, to try and find it again. It was almost like this one, but not quite, like I''ve said. So if you have one that works, MAKE A NOTE OF IT SO YOU CAN FIND IT AGAIN IF YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR IT ELSEWHERE! Like the song says, "You don''t know what you''ve got until it''s gone." Like the guy on the radio says, "When you find a winner, you stick with it." Who''d''a thunk Sears would discontinue a perfect product? The state of American commerce these days! I guess it was "too perfect," not enough built-in obsolescence, eh? How crooked.

So anyway, yes, BUY THIS PRODUCT...AND NOTE THE INFORMATION THAT COMES WITH IT SO WHEN THIS MERCHANT DISCONTINUES IT YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO REPLACE IT ELSEWHERE. Maybe get two or three at once, ''cause nothing lasts forever. I got two, and am glad I did!

I wouldn''t even give it one star really.....I ordered this Brita water filter based off the photo after looking through at least 20+ britas, and not finding the original version at a reasonable price. I bought this thinking it was what was pictured above.... IT IS NOT. The picture shows the one I want and the one they sent is completely different. Its about two 8oz cups smaller... and when you have a large family of water drinkers it''s definitely not the ideal one for you. I am so disappointed, and this was going to be a gift for my mom, there is no way that I can get the right one in time now to make it before X-mas!! Amazon rapes you on refunds, they wanna tax everything, to the point that it wouldn''t be worth it! I just had to return something else I paid 60 dollars for and amazon is trying to only refund 35.00....see what I mean. Taxing me for something that was their fault. Dont buy from this seller, and always triple check things when it comes to Amazon :(

If you want the right one try searching for 2 quart brita, or 8 cups...... as that is the original.

When I moved to a large city for college I disgusted by the poor water quality. I grew up drinking well water straight from the faucet, but at school I was forced to waste money on bottled water.

Buying a brita pitcher saved my life and my bank account. The water tastes great, and I can even use the filters longer than recommended before the chlorine taste returns.

The picture of the product is different from what I received. I wanted the older version of the Brita Standard Water Pitcher because the height is perfect for the top shelf of my refrigerator. If I lower the shelf, it creates wasted space above and less space below.

These work pretty well. They last a while.

Honestly, the packaging tries to compare them to disposable mop pads, and I think the disposable ones work a little better. Obviously, it''s much cheaper to use these, though.

The problem that I''ve kind of had is that the pad tends to pick up a little bit of dirt, but then it pushes it around. So I rinse the pad, but it seems like it isn''t actually that dirty. Then I keep going, and in a few minutes I''m having the same problem again.

Overall, though, it''s good enough. Maybe I am using a cleaning solution that isn''t top notch, or maybe I need to swap out mop pads more often (which is why I just bought another one). Even though my experience of using this over the past year or so hasn''t been amazing, my floors are pretty clean, and that''s good enough. I do like being able to choose what solution is going onto my floor, and that is a nice feature from this mop.

I just bought one of these pads at Walmart for $5.94, so I guess Amazon isn''t the cheapest. But, on Amazon it''s only a few more dollars, and with Prime free shipping, a few dollars is well worth saving me the time and trouble of an extra trip to the store.

This product is great, it is so much better then the pads that you use and throw away. Think of how much money you can save by washing the pad in the washing machine and reusing it. I''m sorry that I did get this product (along with the mop) a long time ago.

this is a great product, my cleaning lady loves it and I like to use my own pre-mixed cleaning solution. No more weird ingredients for cleaning solutions. Great that you can reuse and toss it in the washer.

I absolutely love my mop. I thought I would check on amazon to buy more cleaning pads, but they are more than twice as expensive as t*rget.

As far as the mop goesit is amazing. Ive tried lots of stuffI have toddlers and tile and it is always messy. We tried regular mops, a carpet cleaner with a tile attachment, steam cleaners(borrowed that one) and a scooba. Scoobas gone. The rubbermaid mop is here. It is easy and fast and works really well. I just need a couple more mop pads since every time I clean the floor and put it in the laundry pile someone always decides to make a giant mess about an hour later!

Glad to have a mop that stays in place. I''ve used a Bona system for the last 10 yrs. The mop is really just a terry towel with an elastic border..but it would slip off as I mopped. I still use Bona cleaner, but now I use this mop and it works great.

Last year we had white chalky crap ALL OVER our house. I thought it was the water only, but I guess this should help that also. We just replaced it but also upgraded our water system to a reverse osmosis. Between that and this my white residue problem is solved.

Bought the Vornado Ultrasonic 1 humidifier on a whim when my daughter was having some breathing problems as an infant.

This is the second filter to be used with the unit. I will base this review on the first unit as I have yet to run this one its full life.

The original filter still left a lot of white dust all over her room even though it is supposed to eliminate the powder.

It is also the only one that fits the compartment (that I am aware of)so I cannot choose to try another product. Next time I think I will be more diligent about a humidifier.

We were fine with the humidifier for a season, but it is hard to keep clean and has orange mold inside. I keep trying to clean it out, but never feel confident that it is completely gone and not just airborne for my family to breathe in. In the future I will probably be very ungreen and just buy cheap ones that I can toss after a year. I think in 5 years I will still be ahead financially by going that route.

Just received and installed this item today. This model filters fluoride and tons of other stuff. Hooked up easily. So far so good! The water actually really does taste different than out of the Brita filter I have. It''s hard to describe but I think the brita water tastes less balanced and more chemical. I rinse my teeth with fluoride every night and floss, that''s enough fluoride for me! Brittle bones, no thank you. I''ll update this review in a few months if I remember.

Bought this product on March 17, 2011. From the outset water tasted awful, worse than tap water. After two-three weeks of use water started tasting a bit better. We tested the PH level and it failed miserably. Water is still at its full flow and taste real horrible even though we use city water. We unfortunately neglected to return this product, and would not recommend it to our worst enemy. "0" stars for ratings if allowed. Wish we could get a complete refund as we are very disappointed with this product.

I added another carbon filter to this Crystal Quest filter, but there is still a strong chemical taste. They use mechanical and chemical filtering systems to remove contaminants; but the result tastes worse than the original tap water. Service was RUDE. However, the first woman (a new employee) confessed that other customers complained about a chemical taste; but others in the company staunchly denied any problems with any customers very deceptive! I encouraged the company to check and improve their filters, but they continued to deny any problems and refused to improve. What was that chemical taste? I will never know, but I will never taste it again! Why put more chemicals in your water?!

I love to find cleaners for your house that are safe, money savings and reusable. I have tried some products in the past that were alright but didn''t really make me want to purchase them again. I have to say these products are really impressive and get a A+ in cleaning my house.

Each cleaner worked so well and cleaned each spot with ease plus I love the fact that there was no sticky residue left anywhere which is a big thing for me. No announcement about this by the company that I''ve seen. The thick green stuff that has been sold over the decades (and for which I give five stars) is now joined by the clear watery liquid that someone else has commented on, and if you''re expecting to pour the thick green stuff on something you might see an unexpected squirt of clear formula product that can splash and get into places you hadn''t planned on. I have a bottle of each, and I will describe the subtle differences in the packaging. At the top of the label on each is a gold check mark and the word, "Expert", and below that is "Rust Stain Remover" on the green gel product. Below "Expert" on the thin clear liquid product are the words "Hard Water Stain Remover". In addition the green gel product has a picture of thick green gel in the center of the label, along with the words "THICK GEL Formula". The contents of the thick green gel are stated as, "sulfamic acid and ethoxylated tallow amine", while the label on the bottle containing the thin clear liquid states "Contains sulfamic acid". As another reviewer said, Amazon''s photo of the product shows the green gel bottle with the clear, thin liquid "Hard Water Stain Remover" written description.

I was very disappointed with this product, the front of the package on the internet said it was a thick gel, it was more like water, it definitely is not like it used to be, the thick gel needs to come off what is displayed on the internet.

I use this on our therapy pool because the water here in Maryland is pretty rough on the fiberglass. It doesn''t take all of the scale off but makes a considerable difference. Also, this works better than the spray if you just squirt it on the surface and let it sit for awhile before rinsing.

I bought this at my local Target store. I applied this to my shower head which has calcium build up due to hard water-I tried applying several time and no noticeable differance. was a waste of money-will not buy again.

FMC103 DUPONT 100 Gallon Faucet Mount Filter Cartridges

These Dupont Faucet Filter cartridges FMC103 & FMC300 are rip-offs. They are prone to premature rupturing, likely due to a manufacturing/design defect and will not last you anywhere near the life they claim. The bottom seam/weld of the cartridge is very weak and will not last the 100 or 200 gallons of life it''s rated for. I have gone through three FMC300 cartridges (rated for 200 gallons) but in fact lasted less than 50 gallons of use, rendering them useless. The first sign of trouble is usually a slow drip from somewhere around filter unit; eventually it deteriorates into a gushing fountain.

Dupont Customer Service is aware of the problem with these cartridge. They told me both the 100 and 200 gallon cartridges have the same problem. If you call to ask for a replacement of a leaky faucet filter unit they will demand a dated sales receipt, etc. But if you tell them you have a defective, ruptured cartridge, they will send you a replacement, no questions asked. Obviously, they know the FMC300 cartridge is a defective product.

Never had one problem with this system in years, before would have Pur systems that would break every 3 months Dupont is just stellar. I highly recommend.

This is one of those "it used to be good" reviews. Bought one of these a year ago, used the FMC300 filter, which has apparently disappeared from the market according to my observations and reports on these Amazon reviews.

This product is manufactured by DuPont for Walmart and was originally billed as a Walmart-only product. It was inexpensive ($14 for the filter + cartridge, and less than $9 for replacement filters). Now the prices approach that of other brands. Replacements are about $12 for the FMC100. The empty shelf space showed a 3-pack of FMC300''s listed for just over $40. Curiously, I just checked and cannot even find these filters or cartridges listed on Walmart''s website a search on the model number or DuPont only turns up random items and/or other brands of water filters.

My main complaint about this new FMC100 is that the water tastes distinctly salty. The replacement filter should be flushed by now it has been a week since I installed it. But the salt flavor lingers, in plain water, coffee, what have you. I''m going to dig my old Culligan FM-15A out of storage and (hopefully) find a replacement filter for it. I gave up on the Culligan, which I liked, because I was having problems finding replacement cartridges.

These filters says that you can get 100 gallons of water per use, but for some reason when the filters get to around 50 gallons they just explode in the housing system. I bought this pack of three and in less that 1 month I was done with the set. At first I thought I might had one defective filter and thought nothing off it, but withing 1 week the same thing happened again. They keep breaking around the base of the filter in the exact same spot, with the filter broken the system is no good because it just leaks water everywhere. I had a Brita system for years and never had any of these problems. I wish I had keep it instead of thinking I was getting an upgrade. People save your money, do not buy this product!

Having purchased a ShopVac at a flea market sans filters, I needed to go shopping around to prevent it spitting dust everywhere during use.

The ShopVac site told me my little 1x1 needed 901-07-00 filters, but their own price for them wasn''t great and the filters here (901-07-19) were all Amazon had. So I took a chance.

I''m happy to report the filters are fully compatible with 901-07-00-needing ShopVacs. Not sure why the need to give you 3 of them if they''re "reusable," but at least that''s liable to be a lifetime supply for ~$5.
