For living in an area that is known to not have the greatest of water in the first place, the taste with the filtered water bottle and without are from two completely different worlds! To include the nasty water from the drinking fountain in my work''s building, it is like a clean fresh bottle of spring water. I like the concept and am able to use the bottle with normal tap water. You do need to make sure that the top is on correctly or it may leak.
