Worked and sealed up my water line just perfectly. Trimmed a fraction off each end of each water line and then just pressed them into the coupler for a perfect fit.Read Best Reviews of GE REFRIGERATOR WATER LINE TUBE CONNECTOR 5/16X5/16 Here
little did we know that after you unhook the ice machine water hose, you have to re-cut the hose before re-atttaching. Or, we would not have bought a new connector. :-( it was cheap and we learned via internet searches becasue when we hooked this one up it leaked too (not the connector but the hose the cutting the hose thing! It did not come with instructions is why we left out that hose cut part. Anyway... it works. and gets a star less for no instructions included.Want GE REFRIGERATOR WATER LINE TUBE CONNECTOR 5/16X5/16 Discount?
This connector works like a champ. Very easy to install and no leaks. Works on any 5/16 water line on any appliance. Does not have to be GE.Could not find this part at any hardware store or appliance store.I bought it for my general electric refrigerator and have not had any issues or leaks with it. Friedrich SS08M10 Save 2% Off

This is my second Kuhl. I purchased the original one from M&M Appliances in Washington, DC, but took it back because it was damaged compressor ripped from the mounts and refrigerant lines bent and the backup battery was dead on arrival. Second unit seems to be in much better condition. It was not damaged and the backup battery is not dead. Friedrich also mailed me a new backup battery (see their website for the form to fill out for a free battery).
Installation was a bit time consuming and required more tools than you''d expect for a window a/c install. The hardware that comes with the unit is excellent. It is sturdy and well built. Installation is definitely intended to be semi-permanent. I will not be removing this unit every winter like I have with previous window units.
Unit cools very well and is very quiet when compared to bargain brands at many stores. Discharge air temperature with R410a seems to be lower than most previous air conditioners that use R22. Depending on temperature and humidity in the room, the unit will sometimes blow visible fog from the vents.
This air conditioner is very well built. Sound dampening could have been increased the unit makes a bit more noise than I''d like for the premium price tag. Friedrich should consider insulating the compressor in order to keep noise down. Compressor makes an oscillating sound at a frequency of about 2 3 hertz. Fan noise is minimal, which I attribute to the large vent design. The most irritating sound is the water splashing on the condenser fan. This problem could be solved by more sound insulation or by a condensate drain (although I understand that the condensate splashing on the condenser increases efficiency). Still -VERY QUIET when compared to most alternatives.
All features work well except for the auto fan mode (energy saver), which cycles the fan too frequently to "test the air temperature." I leave it set for continuous mode, which I prefer anyway. I do have a gripe about the remote control it doesn''t sync with the unit''s control panel, so if you make a change on the unit and then go to the remote, the remote still has its previous settings. Would be nice if the remote was RF instead of IR so that it didn''t have to be pointed at the unit and it could auto-sync whenever settings are changed at the unit.
If you buy one of these, definitely read the instructions. Some parts of the install are not intuitive, and there are many features that you''ll want to familiarize yourself with.
Some people have complained that the unit does not display the accurate temperature. This can be adjusted under the *temperature offset (TO)* section of the menu, along with a number of other settings.
I hope to get many years of trouble free use out of this unit.
PROS:
Sleek design with optional front cover colors
7 day scheduler
Fresh air & exhaust air control
Digital display
5 temperature sensors to monitor unit performance and temperature (Supply Temp, Return Temp (room temp), Outside Temp, Evap Coil Temp, Cond Coil Temp)
Remote Control with digital display
Very quiet
Well built
Made in the USA
Good warranty
Excellent air filter
Great customer service
11.7 SEER, great efficiency for a window unit
CONS:
Long install time (2 3 hours)
Large overall size
Damaged during shipping, glad I bought from a store instead of online!
Expensive (I hope I end up getting what I paid for)I just have no idea why this A/C costs $800. Rich (read pretentious) look apart I haven''t found a single advantage over an A/C with the comparable output you can pick up in a home improvement store for $150.
I was looking for a single most important for me function a quiet operation and I was willing to pay 6-X price for it. Good thing I decided to test it before putting in into the window. When running "fan only", it makes reasonable noise, not much quieter than a "regular" cheap A/C. The disappointing part there is only 3 fan speeds, no variable speed and/or super-quiet mode.
But when I switched it in cooling mode and the compressor kicked in, I literally jumped first the loud click and then the droning noise, so loud I thought I dropped a screw driver into the fan. After a few second the sound went down a little but it still was way over the acceptable level, and definitely louder than a cheap A/C makes. I thought the unit was defective, the dealer sent a technician, who told me that''s the normal operational sound. Now I just hope the dealer won''t give me a hard time when I return the A/C.
So for the price of 6 regular A/Cs you will have:
bulky heavy unit, requiring quite laborious installation process
lack of important features like variable fan speed and super quiet night mode
bunch of bells and whistles you most likely won''t care about, like 7 days programming and external thermostat connector
a lot of noise
very nice looking front panel and ipod-styled remote.
You decide, but I''m returning mine. The compressor makes a loud throbbing noise which makes it too noisy for a bedroom. The unit is also heavy & bulky, which made installation difficult. Other than that it cools well, but so do a lot of less expensive, smaller, equally noisy a/c''s.

BISSELL Auto-Mate Hand Held Vacuum

It''s easy to empty the dirt from inside. Just push the button and off it comes. However I''d advise doing that outside as depending on what you have inside, you may end up getting the house dirty again!
What I like about this is it''s small enough to put just about anywhere. And As most of us do, we snack in the room watching TV. Crumbs get all over. This is small enough to pull out and do a quick vacuum job on the chair, etc.
Keep in mind this is NOT what you would want to vacuum the floors of your house. It''s for small jobs, the auto, etc.
Also it comes with a long electric cord. And a wrap for the cord when not in use.
Bissell has a really nice product here. This corded hand-held vacuum does the job-it picks up debris quickly with little hassle. I love the 18 ft. long power cord. The length is perfect. When I''m on a "roll" cleaning, it gives me enough freedom to do several jobs before having to quit. It''s somewhat heavier than I am used to for a hand-held vacuum, but those with relatively strong wrists should not have a problem.
The on/off switch is a simple red button on the tip of the upward curved handle. It''s easy to turn on and doesn''t get in the way. I appreciate that I only have to hold this vacuum instead of squeezing some trigger mechanism to keep it on.
The motor is on the loud side, giving you the impression that it''s very powerful, however the suction isn''t as strong as another significantly more expensive hand-held vacuum (different brand) I''ve bought in the past. Although my other hand vac has stronger suction, the thing is always running out of power when I need it most. I like having continual power with this Bissell, so even if I may have to go over crumbs more than once, the job will get done quickly.
The filter is good, but you must take care that you don''t wash or get the folded part wet (as explained in the directions). Ideally, I would have liked to see that component be entirely washable. Instead, you can hit it against the wastebasket to knock off the accumulated dirt (also described in directions).
The flexible rubber contour attachment is by far my favorite-it elevates this machine to the "exceptional" category, in my book. The attachment enables this Bissell to actually do something that the pricier vacuums I''ve purchased (both big and small) can''t handle...It revitalizes the worn areas of my carpet. WoW! This a noticeable improvement.
****Update:
Had to drop review 2 stars when I discovered that the "flexible contour attachment" disintegrates while using, so it cannot bear heavy use (necessary for homes with pets and/or children). Everything seemed okay until after one vacuum my son happened to look down at the underside of the attachment. The rubbery bristles were reduced to tiny nubs!
That attachment was my favorite part of this hand-held vacuum...what a bummer.

This is a great little vacuum for the money -plenty of power, two types of attachments, and a long cord. Bissell has a well-earned reputation for quality and the Auto-Mate Hand Held Vacuum is no exception. I used it indoors on cereal spills and the feathers that seem to fly off my parakeet and of course on the upholstery. I haven''t used in my husband''s truck yet -I''ll need an extension cord for that, which leads to The Downside: it has a cord, it isn''t rechargeable, and there is no convenient "wall mount" feature to tuck it away when not in use.Read Best Reviews of BISSELL Auto-Mate Hand Held Vacuum Here
Such a good hand held vacuum, one might use it in the home just as readily as in the auto (we are doing just that)!Pros:
Solid but lightweight.
Heavy duty cord.
Ease of changing attachments.
WONDERFUL ON AND OFF SWITCH at tip of handle...(take note all other hand vacs!)
Powerful suction.
Visibility of dirt in canister.
Easily emptied.
A winner!
Cons:
None that I have found as yet.

I love this little hand held vacuum, it is very powerful and cleans really well, I actually have not yet used it as a car vac.I have used it for small jobs around the house as well as my couch and chairs in my living room.
Some might complain that it is corded, but that is more than fine by me, as the power of corded is much better than a rechargable unit in this case, this baby is a lot better than the similar looking Dustbuster.
another stellar product from the folks at Bissell!

The water quality and taste is great since the Venus uses the same filter cartridges as the highest-end models. It would be nice if the filter life indicator was numeric instead of bars, but actual life depends on the source water and so even a numeric indicator can''t be exact. The filters are .1 or .01 micron and last 1000 gals./1 yr. (more like 6 mos really). Although not over-priced compared to others available in the U.S., I would like the option of a longer life or cheaper filter. Specifically, the Panasonic ionizer I had in Japan used very similar filters (0.05 micron) that lasted for 4000 gallons/2 yrs. and only cost a little more, so I''m not thrilled about the ~3x price difference. The only difference seems to be that Jupiter filters include a "biostone" for infrared radiation of the water, but I can''t tell any difference.
Unfortunately, the diverter value included with the unit is not well designed at all. I''ve gone through three now and am resigned to living with it because I can''t find anything different to replace it with. It''s fully usable but annoying because the pin doesn''t pull itself back in all the way so you have to remember to push it "off". It''s disappointing to drop close to a grand on a piece of equipment to have it come with a poor quality valve, but those valves seem to be ubiquitous for all counter-top water filters (look at the pictures here on Amazon).
Overall this is a terrific model from a reputable company and it matches the water quality of even the most expensive models for less. The design is more than adequately attractive, and it''s a snap to set up and use. It has plenty of power to give you all the benefits of ionization. Steamed vegetables with Level 4 alkaline come out brightly colored and drinks taste great. I collect the acid water discharge in a container to use for cleaning and find that I need less cleanser with it. If you''re looking to get healthier or get in shape, drinking alkaline water provides an extra boost to a good diet and exercise routine and makes it a lot easier to drink more water and fluids throughout the day.My reason for purchase was to help my husband with his stomach problem
reflux. We also like the taste of the water. We travel and run into many different types of water the Jupier makes it all taste great.
My husband''s problem isn''t cured but he hasn''t had to sit up at night like he did before.
This unit is easy to use and doesn''t take up too much room in our motor home Its also nice looking so I don''t mind having it on my counter. Our friends we stop and see on our way south were amased at how good their coffee was. Iam very pleased Idid this pchase.

I searched for months to find the Right Akaline machine and BINGO I found it!!!! The reviews I was reading wasn''t helping at all, because there wasn''t that much reviews for the Akaline machines. So I was defiantly taking a chance. I was debating rather I should get the water Osmosis or Akaline. As you can see I chose the Akaline water!! I have nothing against water Osmosis, I never tried it and I feel I don''t need too after buying the Venus Akaline machine. I''m not gonna compare it to water Osmosis, because I never used water Osmosis before. I drank Akaline water plenty of times way before I got the Venus machine, but I never used the machine until this year. I wanted the Best machine for the most reasonable price and the Venus is it! It has a high PH. I was worried at first about buying it, I mean Look at that price dude!! That joint is expensive, however it does everthing it suppose to as advertise on Amazon. So it was a great investment! The Venus machine HAS the best Qualites for the lowest price. Was it worth every penny???? YES so far so great!!!!! I''m feeling healthier than ever. Just put it this way, this is the ONLY thing I drink now. I went from drinking 3-4 glasses of water a day to 8-9 glasses. Sorry to be nasty, but my Urine is Clear now. My skin has cleared up alot and I never had this much energy since I was kid! I''m 27 years old, however it was my mother who invested in the machine. I drank "Essentia 9.5 ph" and other Akaline bottle waters in the past. So I know how Akaline water should taste. Trust me on this there is a MAJOR difference between Akaline water and other water filters. Akaline water is not the same as Faucet water, Filter water, Deer Park and other waters. The Venus does have a setting for filter water. The Filter water on the Venus Machine had a better testing than the Deer Park. I was shocked to see that! Deer Park was very acidic when I tested it. The Machine does have a woman talking as a voice command. You can set the volume on her from 1-3. She can be louder but I can hear her. I feel every house should have a Akaline machine like the Venus. I don''t know why they don''t!!!! It should come with the house, but we don''t live in that kind of world lol. If your not eating healthy then your not going to notice the difference in taste right away, but you will notice it over time. It''s kind of like a child eating vegetables and fruits. Vegetables and fruits are healthy and taste Amazing when you don''t eat no junk food or unclean foods like Pork, white sugar, crabs, shrimp, candy, koolaid, etc; If your Eating junk food and unclean foods all the time your not going to notice the great benefits it has in taste right away. So I recommend to start eating clean and Akaline foods and say goodbye to the unclean life. Me, I noticed the difference right away as soon as I drank the Akaline water!! Especially the Venus water. I eat very healthy! So it was like a KICK or a Boost for me. The Venus water is the cleanest water I ever dranked from. I can''t stop drinking it! I do not and I repeat I do not drink Faucet water, YUCK!!!! I use to enjoy drinking deer park, but Deer Park never made me want to drink water for some reason. The Machine looks exactly how it is described. I''m not done writting this review!!!!!!!! I will talk about costumer service and how the machine works and so on. I have to go to work but when I come back I will finish this review.... If anyone has any questions just reply to this or something. I will respond don''t worry :) I will also do a video soon. I''ll be backI dont post reviews but i wanted to tell a few people about my machine...they dont do all they say they can do. i bought one and while the water tasted ok i dident feel any different and my diabeties was still the same as before. i ended up testing the machine out and while the the ph test came out at 7 it never could get any higher up like it was supposed to do, my friend warned me about these machines but i wanted to save money so he ended up giving me water for a few months from his kangen machine and my diabeties symptoms started to change and after a while i no longer needed my medicine..i ended up buying a kangen sd501 threw there financing since i spent all my money on this other machine.I have no business incentives but if you have questions email me and I can refer to my friend or sell you my old ionizer for really cheap LOL! Just kidding i would never do that to some one... wishing you all the best of health! mommaof4
