These little things do a great job of keeping bacteria, etc from growing in my humidifier. I have been using my humidifier daily for 8 months, and these have really cut down on the number of times that I have to clean the tank. I usually buy them at my retail giant store for much less, but they don''t seem to carry them during the summer. I was willing to pay a little more this time just because I''ve gotten used to the convenience.
