I buy my replacement Brita Water Filters for my Braun Coffee Maker at Bed Bath & Beyond. I do not change the filter as often as recommended. I live in a rural area where we have our own water well so there isn''t any chlorine added. The Braun Coffee Maker works fine waiting longer to replace it.

I have owned a wonderful Braun coffee pot to fit this filter for at least 8 years. I use my own spring and well water which has a high mineral content( especially lime and calcium)which is why I chose this Braun make and model to begin with. For the past 3 years I have been completely dissatisfied with the replacement filters because they DO NOT settle into the compartment as they are designed to do. Instead they "float" above the compartment, therefore negating the very purpose for which they were intended. I will buy no more and I will also buy a new coffe pot. I also think these filters are extremely over priced.
