This is a great buy. My icemaker was down for a long time, and with the heat wave, I needed it working again. My old motor was dead, and what should have been about a $20 replacement motor, was over $100, so I cancelled that idea, started shopping for a complete icemaker, and found this one. It was easy to install, and even though it is a newer design than my old one, it included the adapter cable, and fit right in with the same screws. It started making ice cubes within 2 hours, and dumps a new tray of ice about every hour. I am very pleased with it''s performance and cost (only about $40 incuding shipping!) I''m back to having frozen pina coladas and iced coffee.
