I have been using the Rainshow''r product for almost 10 years now, changing out the filter once a year--and I can tell when it is time to replace the cartridge, my curly hair starts to become more unruly! I even installed one at a boyfriend''s house because prolonged visits resulted in diminished manageability of my hair. Same for long vacations.

This replaced a Sprite, but unlike that product, this one seems to do what it advertises. No more chlorine smell when I step into the shower (this and skin reactions to Chicago water convinced me to ditch the sprite). A noticeable difference in the way my skin looks and feels.
