This is the lowest flow aerator I was able to find anywhere. While it does a good job regulating the water flow, they simply used the same aerator housing as the 0.5 and 1.0 gpm models. The 1.0 gpm model shoots the water out too hard, and it ends up splashing water everywhere, while the 0.5 gpm model has good output.

There are too many holes for the water to come out of, thus all the streams are very weak. This also causes the streams to link and merge with each other, which looks bad, as if your faucet was very low end. The combination of having the lowest water flow and very weak outgoing pressure seriously slows you down when it comes to washing your hands and brushing teeth. While 0.15 gpm may not seem like much, the 0.5 gpm models allow you to wash significantly faster.

If you really want to use water as efficiently as possible, you''re patient, and you aren''t concerned with the appearance of the water streams, then this is a product worth considering. But for most people looking to conserve water, the 0.5 gpm model already limits the flow to a tiny fraction of a standard aerator while still allowing for time efficient washing.
