OK, the day I got this home, the hinged lid fell off and one of the little plastic dealibobs that is part of the hinge system broke. So, it''s not well-made.

Now, other than that it works great, except that the filters are fairly pricey.

It does make our hard-as-a-rock water taste better, however.
