Hayward Pro-Grid Pool Filter Clamp Assembly Brass Sleeve Nut Only

This sleeve nut is exactly what I needed. The old one has been stripped to nothing because we used a crescent wrench for far too long and it just ate away the soft brass. This one takes a 3/4" socket which makes taking this thing on and off way easier. I will say it is a pain to get the spring off the old one, but if you have access to a vice it would be quite easy. So glad this is available, if not Hayward want $250 for a whole new clamp set.

Perfect fit for what I needed for the filters. Can''t run a pool without it. If you need to replace this bolt get this one it seems as if it''s made of better materials

Great product, worked our perfectly. My pool is 17 years old and this product was exactly what I needed. I ordered 2 and they were delivered in just 4 days. Advice, clean the screw thoroughly and use car wheel bearing grease for smoother fitting and this will also prevent rust.

I desperately needed to replace the clamp bolt on my Hayward DE filter and this did the trick very nicely. Price was very high, otherwise it would be a 5 stars. Since Hayward discontinued this part (??!!??) which baffles me, I guess you gotta pay what you gotta pay when the existing part breaks... just don''t go crazy tightening this thing is all I can say, it is only brass after all.
