BISSELL Pre-Motor Filter Style 7/8/14

The products I received do not appear to be "genuine" Bissell filters, as the items were packaged in a plain clear resealable bag.

This is especially disappointing, given that Bissell charges $3 on its website (instead of the $7 charged here). I bought it on Amazon to avoid the additional shipping charges by Bissell (it worked out to be a dollar cheaper here).

As for the quality of the foam, it appears to be a different texture than the original filter. I''m not a foam expert, however, and they may be comparable.

Lesson learned.

I ordered filters clearly identified on the site as Genuine Bissel, which were not the filters I received. In fact the ones I were given were clearly of inferior quality, which increased my disappointment. The notion of deceit instinctively came to mind and why I contacted Amazon to request a refund.

I would not do business with this company again.

My poor vacuum gets very little attention, maintenance wise. I got all the filters and beater brush and it works great again. The pre-motor filter fit perfectly and works great.
