I have used this product on a 100 year old dining room set and have been absolutely amazedat how effective it is. The finish on it was crackled and the woodgrain was impossible to
see, and now the beautiful mahogany wood just shines through. I highly recommend this product
as a first choice before refinishing any antique. It is a great product for refurbishing and
enhancing wood.I''m on my third bottle of this stuff and I LOVE it! I got a table off Craig''s List that the former owner thought I would have to refinish, however, an evening with Dr. Woodwell''s and some fine steel wooltable looks like it has been refinished. It has taken out watermarks, light scratches and rings plus just made the wood look shiney and healthy. As an antique collector, I can''t live without this! I really wish I could post my before and after pictures. If I could, you would see that the seller''s before and after pictures are completely and totally accurate. I was a little cautious at first and wasnt'' sure I believed what it claimed to do. Now I''m a true convert and recommend it, even to antique dealers I buy products from. Try this, I think you''ll be hooked too!

I was most interested in this product''s ability to restore cracked/crazed and damaged finishes. The video on their website makes it look so wonderful, when in fact it is not. I used exactly as the instructions stated on a piece with lightly cracked finish, and it did NOTHING. This stuff should be called "Dr. Woodwell''s Snake Oil."Read Best Reviews of Dr. Woodwell''s Wood Elixir Here
Dr. Woodwell wood elixer is a wood cleaner. If you have scratches in your furniture it is not going to help. But it does clean up water spots and genually does clean the wood. It just doesn''t do all that it claims to do.
