we bought these for our aquasana whole house filter. i had alway suspected our city water was bad but i had no idea how bad until i started using these for our system. we changed them once a month and to see them go from pure white to the nastiest brown you could imagine in 30 days. wow. our water now is cleaner, no particles floating around, the chlorine smell is gone and the water acutally feels softer.

We purchased the Aquasana whole house water system August 2011. After 1 year, it was the best investment we have ever made for our bodies and our home. Tasty, clear drinking water and wonderful showers that are free of chemicals and smells. Once you see how brown and full of particles the filter is after a very short time, you know you made the right decision. We put in a new filter every 3 months... so I am reordering another year of filters. Pretty cheap to run a year of water through for $15.95!!

Excellent price on the set of filters. I change my water filter about as often as I change my air filters (three months), or I will change it sooner if it looks dirty. I love my whole house water filter.

They work and local water is dirty and they turn brown quick. You can see large particles and many colors. yuck. Cleaner now.
