We bought this system on the advice of our plumber. Originally we had meant to install an RO system. The plumber, however, clued us in that all RO systems waste 3 8 gallons of water a day as they continually filter, and what doesn''t get used, dumps back into the waste water line. Not good for those of us who are trying to conserve water for environmental or financial reasons. This filter system is the same as the Everpure 300L but cost about $100 less. All Everpure systems can use any of their filters, so you can still use an Everpure 300L filter with the 200L system. Thank the plumber!
