This filter worked fine for about 2-3 months, but then we started seeing clear particles floating in our glasses. I replaced the refridgerator supply line, but still had the same issue. I then replaced this filter with an original LG filter and the problem was resolved. The LG filters will last 6 months to a year.

Product was as described with installation instructions that were easily understood. The instructions stated the new filter would be smaller in diameter and work the same as the old filter. It fit well and installation was easy. It does take a good push for filter to be seated in place before locking in place as the instructions state.

I got this product because it claimed to be compatible with the original LG. The only issue I had is that its diameter is a bit smaller, so it doesn''t fit snugly in the filter compartment. Other than that I didn''t notice any problem. It''s hard to tell if the quality of the filter is the same, but I didn''t notice a difference in taste.

We purchased this product several months ago. This is a good product, at a cost-effective price. Easy to install. Better that the original.
