I live upstate and depend on well water. After shocking our system twice, we still had bacteria in the water. I finally broke down and installed this unit and it worked! We can finally drink our well water! Our drilled private well had a problem with non-coliform bacteria. The test result was in the highest range that the test could measure. Over the past few years we tried several remediation attempts with no luck. A few weeks ago we had this filter installed by a plumber along with a 1 micron sediment filter.
