So one fine day our Kenmore Refrigerator''s water dispenser stopped working. So we called Sear and they took 3 weeks to get to your home. When they came , they said that they needed to replace this part and that the total cost of all labor and parts would come too $350. That was ridiculous as all I had to do was add another hundred bucks or so and get a brand new fridge. So we went online and purchased this from amazon.com and then replaced the faulty part ourselves. Mind you we have never done anything like this before and we were so proud of ourselves. The instructions are very clear and it is very easy to replace it.

I''m not mechanically inclined and therefor intimidated by this repair as the original part for my refrigerator was discontinued. This is the replacement part and did not look like the original. Nevertheless, I managed to install this properly with the instructions provided.

This doesn''t have the smaller part shown in the picture but luckily i did not need it. Works good but if you happen to need that small part, this will not work for you.

I was under the impression that this kit came with everything pictured. The front water inlet valve did not come with this kit. just the rear part of the valve with the 2 that goes to the water dispenser and ice maker came with the kit. I was surprised that it only took 2 days to deliver, we also have prime though.I will have to try and rig it together and see how it goes
