Wastes more water than desirable. Tried it at low pressure and near maximum. Wastes about the same ratio no matter the pressure. Was thinking of setting up a pump and making it recirculate the waste water to reduce waste. Don''t want to spend that kind of money with water prices where they are at.
The water I am filtering is from the local river. It barely meets federal standards, sometimes doesn''t, for contaminants. That could be affecting my filters ability.

I would highly recommend this water filter. My husband and I were tired of buying water (since the water where we were living is terrible), so we bought this setup. We needed something that would be portable since we are currently renting and getting ready to move again. It works really well and makes great water. I cannot believe we didn''t buy this sooner!Read Best Reviews of 4 Stage Mikro Alpha Portable Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filter System Here
I purchased mine from Abundant Water Flow Systems via Amazon. There are parts missing from mine so I have no idea if this works or not. Now it will be endless phone calls or a 150 mile round trip to return it.Want 4 Stage Mikro Alpha Portable Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filter System Discount?
Great little set up ,have had this over six months and run a couple of thousand of gallons of water through it geting 11 on the ppm meter, started out at 10.Going to go ahead and change first filter out to prolong life of middle one don''t really need to this soon better safe.good product very happylooks ok I sent it back as it needs a additional tank for storing water -could not assemble it but looks like a good deal. This descibing what is good is taking up too much of my time. I have lots of things to do right now
