I have always used paper filters as the new style made with synthetics lets the sediments slide off and fill the bottom of the cup. They are hard to find and I hope they keep making them. They work great.

I have a well, I bought this filter to eliminate sediment from the water. I installed it at the tank, on the discharge side, so it filters all of the water coming from the well. So far it works really well, I plan to renew it every three months.
