After purchasing the Clear2o CW pitcher, I was disappointed that the hose provided was not long enough to efficiently fill the pitcher. This hose extension was perfect and worked with a minimum of fuss. It would be nice if they would include the extension with the original pitcher.

I have always been completely sold on the Clear2o water pitcher having tried all other faucet/pitcher water filters. The only problem I had with the Clear2o was the filling part...the hose from pitcher was too short and made the attaching to faucet awkward. But then they came out with the hose extender and the pitcher is perfect!!! The hose is long enough to fill your coffee pot (IF the appliance sits fairly close to your sink like mine does) and refill the pitcher afterwards without unhooking. You can have a sink full of dishes and still refill pitcher, use the water from it, and refill again without having to clear out your sink. I use filtered water for ALL cooking, making tea, coffee, etc. I even give my pets filtered water twice daily because our city water is so bad here. The filters last a lot longer than anyone can imagine, and they are not that expensive as compared to oter products. With this hose extender the Clear2o is a win-win situation if you are wanting/needing a water filter pitcher.

This extender is indispensable and should be standard on the Clear2o water purification pitcher. It could use 3 or 4 more inches itself, but I love it.

After seeing several reviews of the Clear2O water filter system that commented about the hose on the pitcher being too short, I decided to order the inexpensive hose extender. The extender is about 2 feet long and definitely overcomes the problems sited in the other reviews. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that the attachment mechanism is not quite as smooth operating as I would like. But the extender is inexpensive and completely effective.
