I rent a condo with a bathroom sink trap too tight to looosen (no leverage). The sink became totally clogged. I removed the sink stopper, put duck tape over the overflow hole and used the master plunger 500. The master plunger 500 worked to unclog my sink.

I hate to disagree with the other two reviews; however, after spending upwards of $40 for a power plunger from QVC I stumbled upon this and it is terrific for my problem. I love it and have recommended it to several friends. It does work at about 1/5 the cost of the pricer models.

This plunger may very well work on some model toilets, but it doesn''t work at all on the models I tried it on (a Briggs Vacuity, a Gerber, 2 models of American Standard, and a Kohler). The toilet hole is either too large for the plunger, or it isn''t perfectly round to match the plunger shape. Consequently, the plunger generates no suction. Even if it had worked, it looked and felt like it cost no more that two dollars. Really cheap. Didn''t seem right to return such an item, so I threw it out.

The plunger is too big to fit into the base of our toilets and did not work in the slightest bit. I ended up going back to my Korky plunder and that did the trick.
