Very surprised at the cleaning results from this machine. I''ve used rug doctors in the past which cleaned well also but was tired of renting. Cleans as well or slightly better then the rental. Reviews are vg on several other sites. My carpets turned out fluffy and clean. This machine is easy to use and has several nice features. I I like the fact that you don''t have to attach the attachment hose and stair brush to seperate lines. Just twist a knob and your ready to go. All in one tank is great for ease of use. The motor is only 6.8 amps compared to others 12 amps. However you would never know this as it has great suction and power. Also it is realativly quiet. After cleaning, my carpets dried in about 4 hours.Only negative would be that it left dust clumps on the carpet. Not that big of a deal as your suppose to vacuum again after cleaning when the carpet is dry anyway.
Overall I would rate this machine a 4.5. No machine is perfect at everything.
