S.O.S Steel Wool Soap Pads

A friend of mine says he buys all his items at Amazon.com and they arrive at his house within just a few days. This sounded great to me....but, I bought SOS pads last night at Wal-mart...got 18 pads for 2.98, Amazon has 18 pads for over six dollars!

Am I missing something here? I rated the item with many stars...but the price is absolutely ridiculous! Why would anyone do this?

SOS pads are amazing! Last summer I left my car parked in the hot sun where our sprinkler''s water got on the passenger side windows. I tried all sorts of products to try to remove the hard water stains but no success. I decided to try the SOS pads in a small corner of the window to be sure it won''t scratch the glass. Lo and behold! The water spots came right off with just a little bit of elbow grease and the glass was smooth as new no scratches!

I cleaned the entire windows and saved a ton of $$$ because I was starting to think of replacing the windows.

Don''t laugh too hard when I tell you what I use these S.O.S. Pads for...cleaning the rust off of old bicycles I restore. Nothing, short of sandblasting, will do it quicker. Besides, after sandblasing, the part in question needs to be re-chromed. There''s probably 101 reason to still use this tried & true product.
