After I bought it, I used a particle indicator to measure the difference in the faucet water and the filtered water, and no difference was found. Also, when I called the company (Not, Amazon, but Crystal Quest), I asked if I could get a refund on my shipping as well since I was returning the product because it did not work. At the time, I was told that I could receive my shipping if I send an email with the shipping cost. However, after I hadn''t heard back from them for two weeks, I called back and was told that it was not their policy to return shipping cost (even if the product didn''t work). So after I was told that my shipping cost would be refunded, it was not! Very Bad Costumer Service! (Again, not with Amazon, but with the makers of this product).

I have been looking for a water filter that doesn''t connect to the faucet. (I had a faucet-attached one before, and it eventually caused so much back-pressure that it wore out the gasket on the faucet. In addition, it took forever for the water to work its way through the filter, so it took a long time to get even one glass of water.

This unit eliminates all of those problems. What I especially like about it is that it eliminates more impurities that other similar pitcher filter products. Also, very easy to use.
