Royal Berkey Water Filter

Initially it seemed that this thing was expensive for what it does (compared to a Brita water system). However having used for a month or so I find that I am drinking a ton more water than I ever did before. It really does taste better. I am not longer using plastic water bottles. I am using stainless steel Thermos bottles or Nalgenes. I am unsure if there are impurities in our tap water but I decided that having the piece of mind was worth it. Plus if we need to "bug out" we will be able to drink confidently from less then perfect water sources. Oh, my wife thinks it is pretty enough to be in her kitchen.

Overall I am 5 star pleased.
