it''s poorly executed. I''m unsure of crocks, but a standard cooler has a rod that goes into the water bottle. On the delivery bottles, the rod usually pops a center cap (same place this ball sits) and lets the water flow once the bottle is in the cooler. The cap sits on the rod and the bottle usually will reseal itself if you take it of right. The solution is simple and yet, utterly brilliant. I had thought that this product would have done something similar, but unfortunately, it wasn''t designed exactly right. The shaft that the ball sits in is not long enough to handle most cooler rods and the bottle is wobbling on a ball about a half an inch off of the sides of the cooler bowl that it''s supposed to be flush to. Thankfully, I didn''t try it with a full bottle.

Honestly, I would love to recommend this product. I would LOVE for it to work with the screw cap bottles (48 neck), but while close enough to taste the solution I wanted so bad, this product falls short. DANG! In this case, an extra inch could have made all the difference in the world.

This is a cap for your water jugs that you don''t have to break to get the water out. It doesn''t get water all over the floor, and it is reusable. I have had one of these for 5+ years now. Very durable. I just bought one for each of my relatives who use water jugs with the dispensers.

We have three 5 gallon water jugs in regular rotation, all with screw on caps. I''m 6''4 and 240 lbs, so I''m able to change them out fairly easily without much spilling. But its a huge pain in the butt for anyone else to change the water jugs without making a mess. We''ve tried a few other things that just didn''t help much. I saw these caps in the past but thought 12 bucks (with shipping) was way too much to spend on a bit of plastic. Well, obviously I finally broke down and bought a couple and they work great. I should have bought them long ago and will definitely recommend them to anyone with the screw on cap water bottles.

easy to install and does the job nicely. Perhaps a little leaking as I am putting the bottle in place and it is upside down. But since the bottle is over the water cooler it drips right into the reservoir.
