Just to be clear, the tester itself is great and does the job it''s supposed to do. The problem is the product description and title of this product is deceptive. It reads "ZeroWater ZM-016". I bought this thinking it was a different model from the same company that produced this product: ZeroWater ZT-2 Electronic Water Tester.

Turns out...it''s the same product. The ZM-016 is just an SKU used by certain companies. ZT-2 is the model number for the product. I say deceptive because the prices are different (or rather were when I bought this). You sort of think, well, it''s more expensive and it''s got a higher model number so it''s probably got some added feature or lasts longer.

When I first got it, I thought I got the wrong product by mistake since it was the ZT-2. Talking to the seller, they cleared it up but I still ended up paying $10 more for the same product.

As far as the device itself, it works great but it''s very specific. If you''re looking to test TDS (total dissolved solids) in your water to see if your water filter is working, this is a great tool. If you''re looking for more--for instance, pH or water temperature testing--you should look elsewhere.
