I bought this after researching water filters for awhile. I chose this one since it is gravity-fed. Unlike other systems that require electricity (which might not always be there when you need it) or that waste water while filtering (water may be come scarce and it''s just not right to waste resources). Another requirement was to remove fluoride since it''s a toxin despite the propaganda you might hear.It''s super easy to use and there''s a fairly easy initial setup. The only thing I struggled with was the instructions mentioned a certain washer to prime the main filters which I couldn''t find (maybe they changed the color) so I just used another washer that was there. Also you really need to tighten very firmly the spigot or it will leak.
I love having the peace of mind that comes with knowing I''ll have clean water using any water source (pool, pond, swamp) in a disaster and that I''m now drinking water with no toxic fluoride.
I''ve used Brita-type water filters before, but since they''re transparent, I was getting algae every couple of weeks which I don''t get with this water filter.
I''m recommending this filter to all my friends. I think it''s the best one out there!!
