- Dow Filmtec TW30-1812-24 Reverse Osmosis Membrane
When I bought this last May before the product description was ##### (deleted) it stated this filter was compatible with standard RO systems. I did a lot of research before ordering this. Nowhere in the product description does it say you can''t use this on the Watts WP-5 system. As I didn''t have the old membrane out of the unit when I ordered this, how was I to see the seal is on the wrong end. As soon as I pulled the old membrane out and had the two side by side I saw the difference. I wrote to Abundant Flow Water and received the below reply. As the Watts OEM unit is available from Amazon for $34 I''ll let the readers make the decision about Abundant Flow Water''s reply... I''m sticking with the Watts OEM membrane from now on.
REPLY >>>"Those are different. That is one of Watts weird units, they make a couple that are a lot different than the industry standard. We do not stock that particular membrane. We can order it in, the cost on those are $69.50
