I bought this because it was cheap and i''m always on a budget as far as eating and college life goes. Works like a charm and you can easily attach it to the faucet. I havent bought a replacement filter yet, but let me tell you this: it tastes a helluva lot better than the fountain water downstairs. Get it if you''re thinking about it!

Note: it does leak a little when it is filtering water when you put the Brita switch on or off. I don''t know if I myself attached it wrong or something in the manufacturing.

This is the exact same item, at nearly half the price, that sells in my nearby discount store. The packaging was a bit squished, but not being a gift, ...who cares! The pkg was soon tossed, after all. I''m drinking CLEAN tasting (& smelling) water for less!

It was yellow and used. These people should be arrested. I bought this for our baby''s formula. They refunded my money, but still unacceptable. That''s why it''s so cheap it is used parts refurbished. Unethical and illegal.

Very poor quality. Constantly "blew off" the faucet making a mess all over the kitchen. Needs to be redesigned or pulled off the market.

Bought this at the local ACE Hardware store.

But it doesn''t matter.

The contraption doesn''t stay on the faucet. The kit comes with 4 different washers/adapters.

NONE of them fit my faucet.

So, the unit is continually popping off the faucet.

Before it pops off... SURPRISE!!! WATER SPRAYS EVERYWHERE! Then .. BOOM!

Plus, the filter doesn''t last long, and within 3 months, the light stopped working.

Junk!

Must be "made in china".
