In the product description it says it replaces Whirlpool filter WHKF-R-PLUS. I purchased from Amazon and it arrived promptly and in good condition. It appeared to install without a problem, however when I returned to the kitchen I found that it was leaking quite a bit. Luckily I caught it before it caused too much damage to my cabinets.

I would not recommend this to replace the Whirlpool filter WHKF-R-PLUS and I hope that Amazon will remove this from the product description before some other person ruins their kitchen.

I was able to find the actual Whirlpool filter and it has been in for one day now without leaking so it was definitely the Water Sentinel WSQ-1 that was the problem.

I have had several of these and they work flawlessly with no leaks...leaks occur when it isn''t installed properly and the gasket gets damaged...that is most likely the issue with the one-star from the buyer...
