Hydro-Logic 31030 1-GPM Small Boy de chlorinator and sediment filter
  • Easily produces 60-Gallon per hour of clear water filtered down to 5 microns
  • Removes up to 99-Percent of chlorine and 90-Percent of sediment, rust, silt, etc. at 1 GPM
  • Filter capacity of 3,000-Gallon

You can see a difference when you compare a glass with normal tap water and then water run through this filter. Also, after the water evaporates out of the glass, you can see a lot of sediment that is leftover in the glass that had tap water in it. This filter system is very durable and a must-buy for any person conscious about the water that they are consuming. I don''t like the taste of other water after using this small boy.

The product was rock solid from all the reviews I''ve read. It has 3000 gallon capacity and you can upgrade it to the KDF85 filter for 6000 gallon capacity. You can also purchase RO add-on kit to make it RO filter.

However Hydro Galaxy sold me an used(probably a customer return) filter!!! This is unacceptable!!! The filter and package came with residual water from last user and I don''t feel safe to use it. I demanded a refund and bought it from somewhere else. I''ll report issue to Amazon as this is a seriously safety issue.

Very nice little filter. I live in an urban area and our water is pretty hard. This little guy has a noticeable effect on the chlorine level and our water tastes much better now. Also great for watering plants, doesn''t kill beneficial organisms. Great value for the price.

Good product for the $, doesn''t lower the PH as much as I thought it would. This might not be a product deficiency just inaccurate expectations on my part.
