Reasonably priced filter with long life (for faucet mount unit). The design is quite nice to use, especially because it is easy to see whether the unit is in filter mode or not. It''s reasonably fast with the filter on, and tastes much better than without it. The usage meter is great because I can see when I will need a new filter. Good price on filters, too.

While I have no way of verifying the accuracy of the claims made by the product, I still choose to believe that it works, as I''ve not been able to find any websites offering counter information.

Nonetheless, I''m happy with it. It works great. It even fits on my designer faucet, which I was worried about. It comes with some interchanging attachments to fit most faucets. It''s a quality product.

This is my first type of filter and I thought 200 gallons didn''t sound like much. But I''ve had it now for 3-4 months and I''ve only used 24 gallons.

I mostly use it to make iced tea, and for me and my dog to drink fresh water.

I did some looking around on whether I should put any minerals back in the water and apparently not. It''s not distilling it.

I was able to install it in about 5 minutes, most of that time was taken up reading the pamphlet to be sure I was doing it properly.

You can''t use the water filter to make filtered hot water. If you do, you can ruin the filter. But you can turn the filter off and use unfiltered hot water and the pamphlet says nothing about you not being able to do it. However, just to err on the side of caution, I''ve decided that I won''t use the hot water at the kitchen sink. Instead, if I need hot water from the tap, which is very rare, I will just go to the bathroom.
